Thread: My Wide World of Wierd

Perhaps you've discovered a new species. Congratulations on getting lucid, I'd certainly like to meet one of these "Chimeras"...white fur and brown stripes eh? Ridiculous things our brains come up with...a pet...giving away- thing in a movie theatre. I do love how random things get thrown together and hilarious orjust impossible events occur in totally innapropriate places..hehe. Perfect example, this dream

There were good guys and bad guys (I was good), while on a mission I turned bad. I flew back to the secret base (which was a giant orange dragon that you could enter which was flying through the sky) with a member of the bad guys and when we got to the entrance (a giant golden cage with an elevator inside it) he jammed his weapon (it had the handle of a sword and the end looked like a miniend of one of those things used in the fencing sport) into a hole across the door and the wall (I guess it wouldve been to lock it). I asked him if tha was really necessary and he told me it was. (Here's where it starts to get weird) I knocked the weapon out of the holes and then time just sort of skipped to a few secconds before. This happened over and over and over until I finally woke up

Night of Monday December 3: First I had a dream that had something to do with south park and the beach, but that's all I can remember.
Then I had a dream that I was playing one of those skill testers, I'd already won a 10kg block of chocolate (it was huge, it had to be strapped to the roof racks of the car). Each time after grabbing the chocolate with the claw, I had to press a button to release a flap that let the chocolate go into the collection thing. I would sometimes be able to squeze some chocolate under the plastic separating the flap and the rest of the chocolates.I played the skill tester for a while (IRL I'dve got about a bucket full of chocolate) and then I had to leave. As I was in the car driving home, I noticed that these skill testers were everywhere, and in each of them was one huge chocolate in each of them.

Night of Tuesday December 4: I was in Friends and we were all going to dinner with someone later that day. She had made scrambled eggs (which looked exactly like the McDonalds scrambld eggs except with a thick layer of fat and grease on top) but Joey didn't want us to eat them, he called them "her tyrannical scrambled eggs" so he ate them then and there. When we were out to dinner with this person we had pasta because "someone" had eaten her eggs. The pasta was served by this guy who looked like he was in the secret service/men in black. Pheobe was complaining that the percent of her pasta sauce wasn't right, the man said "I presume you're Pheobe"

I was at a drive-in cinema (during the day for some reason) and the movie was booring so I got out of the car and ran own the hill that was adjacent to the drive in. There were mosquitoes everywhere and each one had a colour (blue, yelow or green) where the blood usually is and the colours represneted different diseases that you would get it the mosquitoe bit you (kind of like malaria). I managed to catch a mosquitoe with polio (yellow) and took it to the vet in a plastic box. I told the receptionist that I wanted to breed it and to my surprise she took it out back (time jump) and after a few hours she brought back the box full of them. I walked outside and was wondering what to do with my army of polio-infected mosquitoes (I was thinking of unleashing them in an enclosed classroom) and I noticed that there were still tons of mosquitoes everywhere but they only seemed to be biting my legs.

Night of Wednesday December 5: I was selling some chairs on eBay and I had just put them up for auction. I then walked up my old street to get the chairs s I could ship them when I needed to. At the top there were these two big black dogs who were growling at me (I'm afraid of big dogs). I knew that if I ran away the dogs would chase me so I threw my old chairs (which I was taking to be thrown out) down the street and the dogs chased after them. I then proceeded to collect the chairs and walked back down the street.
(BTW, I woke up between these dreams)
I woke up to discover that I was in some kind of ward/mental institution and that I had been in a coma. Instead of a catheda I had this big, black rubber daiper attached to a bag on. I noticed that the bag was almost full and I wanted to take it off before it overflowed, I looked around for a nurse/adult but I couldn't see anyone so I walked down to the end where there was a shower and attempted to take it off myself. It didn't go as planned but I was in the shower so I jsut turned the water on to was away all the urine. I couldn't see anything to do so I walked back to my bed and went to sleep (the bed was actually really comfortable, not like my bed at all) and had a LD where I was in the middle of nowhere. A DC asked me to move this big boxbut when I lifted it up it was really heavyand the ground collapsed under me.

Wow! You are quite a dreamer..The dog dream, good idea, sounds like you succeeded in distracting them for a while...i've had frightening animal dreams as well.

That other dream :0..overflowing diaper in a mental ward..! I got a bit queezy reading that but hey..I'm glad to hear the bed was comfortable.

thx bro! the bed in the ward was the complete opposite to my current bed! lol. Animals, mirrors and wannabe prep kids (who are the most annoying people) are some of my least favorite things to dream about
Night of Thursday 6th December: My dream started with my whole class getting on a plane (I assumed at the time it was a plane, the only thing I could see was stairs) I was thinking about asking to sit infront of the fire escape to get the extra legroom but I never ended up doing so. The airport we were at was too windy so the plane had to drive to another airport for some reason. While we were driving I wondered if I was on a plane or a bus, I looked out the window, we were driving down a countr road and I saw a wing so I assumed it was a plane. A little while later, right at the end of the dream, a thought occured, "I've only ever been on planes in dreams, dreams that happen in the same way this one has. OMG I'm in a dream!". At that point I woke up (it wasn't my fault, it was 7:00, the time I usually wake up)

I got to sleep late so I had crappy recall on this dream and cant remember anything specific about it
Night of Friday 7th Decemer: The whole dream was based on me gaining the ability to etheric project (I read about it at lucid crossroads), what I would do was close my eyes then focus them on something beyond my eyelids. But that's about all I can remember.

Night of Sunday 9th December: Can't remember much of this dream but everyone in my class had laptops at school, we all had the american-style school desks the teacher was yelling at us because we were downloading too much and my friend had just started a bunch of torrents so I told him "This isn't the best time"
Night of Monday 10th December: My first dream I can remember that my whole class was at this canyon in the outback (australian desert) and we were doing a team-building exercise. In pairs we were all hanging on to these flags (which were flapping in the wind) and we would jump off these platforms in the middle and the flags would somehow carry us in the wind to the next platform. The other class was doing it in tandem skydiving suits but in our class each pair just had to hold on to the flag by themselves. My partner was my best friend and I saw that one person didn't have a partner. I told my friend "I don't think I could do this by myself"

I was observing The Office (the TV show, I wasn't watching it on TV though) and there was this guy (I think his name started with P) who was telling Pam that he had created this dreamworld which he wanted both of them to go live in. Pam said that she couldn't because Jim was already her boyfriend. The man then entered his dreamworld (I was actually there but he didn't take any notice of me)(I was partially lucid at this point) and he somehow trapped Pam in there aswell. He then told her that he had given her the ability to fly and he showed her how (she had to move her legs as if she were pedalling a bicycle) she was talking to me and she said "That's so sweet", I just looked at her, unable to think of a reply. She then went off with him and something strange happened, I had a split consciousness, I could both fell my body in SP and see the blackness of my eyelids but at the same time I was till in the dream. The drea continued on after that and there was a lot of movement but I can't remember any more.

I have been sleeping in a hotel over the last week and had millions of lucid and non-lucid dreams where I have been the equivalent to half asleep in my dreams but I can remember 3 things:
* Trashing a waterpark
* Meeting a DC which looks like my friend (x2)

2 lucids in (about) 2 hours!
Morning of Sunday 23rd December: I was at school and a long and confusing story had just ended and a teacher told me that the rest of the afternoon was going to be a muck up. I was going to sign out but there were only two ways I could do that without a parent's signature, a special note from a teacher which a bunch of my friends had stolen but they didn't have enough for me or because of a religious celebration (i was going to make one up but I figured that they woud call my parents). So my friend and I were the only ones left at school and I had this small version (like the kind that the little kids have except due to the fact that this was a dream I could fit in it) of a volkswagon mini (it was red with 2 white stripes on the hood). I was driving it around and my friend asked if he could have a go and I said "sure", we swapped and then I needed to power it on again so I went round to the back where there were all these letters and some had buttons below them. I pressed a button to power it on and it did but it started going downhill even though my friend was pressing the brake, I told him it dosent have very god brakes so we started carrying it down the hill to the bottom, he asked me where I got it from, I said "I think eBay" but it really puzzeled me because I couldnt remember where I got it from. I then realised that he and I were alone and I suddenly felt like I was meant to do a reality check. I did so and I became lucid. I started flying off but I flew too fast and the dream faded.

I then went in to this "transition period" where I can only see darkness. I am unsure if I have woken into SP or I am still dreaming. I started to try the rolling out of your body thing but then I thought that I would'nt be able to see in my next dream so I decidedto just wait.

I was in the supermarket with the same friend, we were alone again and like last time I felt that I was supposed to do a reality check. It failed and I became lucid, I then tried flying around slowly a few times to help stabalise the dream (it works for me). I landed and then two DCs started attacking my friend. I, hovering just above him yelled "It's a dream, just fly away!" he replied "I dont care, I need to deal with these guys" fought and eventually won against them. I then asked to look at his eyes, he said "Sure" and he looked right at me. His eyes were a deep green/blue colour and each pupil appeared to wink (it would go left, right, left, right). I told him "Thanks" and then, remembering a previous DC asked him "Do you prefer being called DCs or constructs?", he said "Yeah" and I was going to ask him yeah tto wich one but my lips became glued shut (like whenthey've been closed for a long time but stronger) I forced my lips open but this opened my lips IRL and I woke up

Night of Tuesday 25th December: I dreamt that it was midnight and I was lying on my couch, trying to go to sleep and then I suddenly got up and knew I was dreaming (although I thought I had fallen asleep) I then looked at my table and there were a couple of DCs playing cards, I walked over to them and sat down. I asked "So what's been happening in lucid dream world?", they didn't like that, they picked up the table and moved it somewhere else. I noticed a black macbook on the couch and then thought "That's not my laptop, my macbook is white, hey, black looks cool I'm going to turn my macbook black" so I got my laptop and tried to turn it black, I got a spot from concentrating but then my fingers started to burn, I looked at them and they were singed. I then noticed that I was holding a magezine, the front cover of which looked like a DVD menu, movement and all. Then I had a FA and my mum was screamig at me because I had slept until 9:00 and I had school (IRL I'm on holidays) I then walked upstairs to have breakfast and in the kitchen was just a random DC (a girl with red hair) and 3 sinks for some reason, I started to think that that was odd, but then I woke up.

Night of Wednesday 26th December: My whole class was in the city for some sort of excursion and everyone was running out of town hall station and to different parts of the city but I had to do a test on how well I was at phasing through things.There was this small building where you went in and then had to phase through a specific place and the examiners were sitting on the other side. First I had to walk through a wall after eating a cookie which I think I had made (the cookie gave me the ability to phase through walls) and I did well. Next I had to phase through a different wall with a partner (a little girl) and I wasn't sure what to do but the little girl just said "come on!" and she pulled me through. She got good marks because she did it gracefully but I just sort of stumbled through so I got low marks. My last test was that there was this thing like a pen except when it clicked a sharp metal pointy thing came out and you got an electric shock. They were going to hold it up to my skin and click it and I had to phase through the metal thing but the dream ended here.
