Thread: My weird, trippy dreams

Instantly lucid for a few seconds

I'm at work (in the bank) and heavy rock music suddenly starts playing. I realise this isn't normal, and I become lucid. Then I decide to fly out of the roof of the building into the sky. Not long after I crash out of the ceiling, the dream ends.


Semi-lucid bizarre journey

I am at a party with some people from my school. It is like a mini school-reunion. Some of the people are ignoring me (as was fequently the case in school). Then we decide to go for a "walk", and half-way through the walk, three of the most populare people in the group run away, and come back dressed as Musketeers, riding on the backs of dogs. They perform an elaborate gymnastic sword fight dance before the rest of the group.

Then we continue on our journey, and decide to get on board a rollercoaster which takes us to the Collosseum in Rome. It is an incredibly exhilirating ride (better than any rollercoaster in real life). When we arrive at the Collosseum stadium, we sit down and watch a performance. The performance starts with a loud voice describing the Emperor's hate for homosexuals. Then my "view" zooms in to underneath the grounds of the collosseum, where homosexuals are being imprisoned and tortured.

I find this very offensive, so I get out of my seat and go to wander about. I meet an actor who I admire (the guy who plays Garibaldi in Babylon 5) - but he has very long hair. I tell him how much I like him for his work, but he denies that he is who I think he is. Then he runs away.

I go to the toilet of the stadium, but the urinals are all blocked off by a strange fence. I realise this is just all too WEIRD to be real, so I go lucid. I am not sure at first if it is real, so I try to put my arm through the fence (which is of course normally impossible). I fail, but I still believe I'm dreaming. A person appears, who is very attractive. I initially think I will have to fight him, but because I am lucid I start to kiss him. I then become fully lucid and am enjoying this but then everything goes black. I try to maintain the dream state and its lucidity but I very quickly wake up.

War zone

I am in a war-zone shortly after a bomb went off. I am helping the wounded. Everyone is panicking and shouting. I am carrying a wounded child who is crying.


Car journey

I am in a car, being driven by a friend in his car. Thats is! Pretty boring dream .

Michelle from BB

My friend Douglas and I are on a bus with Michelle and Shell from UK Big Brother. I am talking to Michelle and ask her to sign my autograph. She tells me how much she hates signing autographs and talking to people who she doens't know. They get off the bus, and soon Douglas and I get off the bus too. He is going to a different college to me, so he leaves me. I am lost, trying to find my college. There are large fences in the way. I scale one of the fences, but arrive in a primary school full of young children who are playing games of soccer with slow-moving purple balls. I ask for directions and point me in the right direction. There is a spiked wall in the way. I try to climb that wall but my foot gets impaled on one of the spikes. Then I wake up.

Nearly-lucid odessy

This dream was an attempt at a WILD (i.e. during a mid-morning nap).

This was surely one of the weirdest dreams ever! I was a character in a fantasty-pseudo-chartoon adventure, in a dream world - much like The Neverending Story meets Power Rangers. It was bizarre. I was the "chosen one" who had to get to a place like stonehenge without being killed by the evil beings of this dream world. It wasn't my dream though, my job was to help another dreamer wake up by putting my sword in a stone. I could communicate with my leaders and fellow-hero's via a handheld device.

At one point I had to traverse a very large building site which was partly on fire and in ruins. I had to climb a large scaffold. I injured myself climbing it, and I actually wondered for a moment if it was a dream. I did my usual Reality Check, which was to try to put my hand through a solid object. But my hand hit it. So I figured it was real life, especially since the experience was so vivid and realistic!!! And I continued my journey.

I got attacked by some wolf-men and woke up.

When I woke up I was kicking myself becuase I was so nearly lucid!!

Mirror porn!?

I am reluctant to write this dream as you will think I'm a fruit cake. I am standing in my back garden looking into a large hand mirror which is showing images of naked people. I start to masturbate. Then I realise that all the neigbours are watching out their window so I run away. (Then I wake up.)

This one is a cracker! Its like out of a horror movie:

Vampire confrontation

I'm a passenger in a car with my two best friends. We are driving along the road, when we see a hole in the ground which we are driving over. The hole appears to have been recently dug up. In the hole is a severed hand.

We suddenly all remember that this severed hand was caused by us! We were very drunk a year ago, and my friend Martyn sawed off somebody's hand. He then buried the hand in the ground. Apparently somebody had found the hand recently, and it seemed evident that we would soon be caught by the police.

We park the car somewhere and are walking along the road. Then suddenly we are surrounded by 4 or so people. One of them is a familiar policeman. He recognises Martyn. He says:

"Well well, Martyn. How are you? You're still on my top ten suspects list for various crimes.

I see you're still wearing stupid jeans trying to look cool."

Martyn replies, "Yes, and you're still wearing that police hat and still a twat."

The policeman laughs. Suddendly a person stands in front of him and says "Listen, this police guy is going to say 'You purturb me', and then in twenty seconds you will be dead."

There is a very tense 30-second pause. The policeman says "You purturb me" He then starts running at Martyn with the intention to kill him.

Martyn jumps in the car and starts to drive away. As he is driving away, he throws an onion out of the car behind him towards the cop. The cop dies.

hey neil, im the same, i have bizzare dreams like yours but different. my dreams always end like your dream where you became lucid at work at the bank(i think) and floated through the roof.then you woke up.. thats how all my dreams end..when i try something while i relise im lucid....

hey your dreams rock! mine are similar, but some are so RANDOM! i just dont think im normal! they dont make any sense whatsoever! but i now realise that other people's dream worlds can be also very confusing and random! its great! but i get so wound up in all the things going on in my dreams that i forget to ever even think about whether im dreaming, let alone to make a decision whether i certainly am or not!
