Hello to anyone who actually reads this. I have been LDing for almost a year now. About 5 months ago I broke my really good habit of always writing down my dreams. One day I was sick and had about 4 dreams, and started writing them down and didn't even notice I was sick for about 5 minutes. I never finished that entry. The next 2 or 3 days I was still pretty sick, and couldn't write down all of the dreams I had. Once I started getting better, I felt tired in the mornings still. So I decided to give it some time before I started again. So, writing my dreams down became sporadic. For the last couple months, I have barely remembered my dreams (let alone them being lucid), so I have decided to try to make it a habit again. I also decided it is much easier to type it, so I can add things as more memories of the dream come back. So, here is my Dream Journal
I was in a room full of computers. I wasn't any of the characters, I was sort of like a camera in a movie. On the computer screens, there were lots of moving colors. The person looking at it was a teenager, and the teacher came to look at it. The colors were weather patterns, according to the teacher, and a giant storm was heading this way. Then when the teenager got home, his mother was preparing stuff to bring to the basement. Because of the storm there would be radiation or something, so they would have to stay in there basement for a whole week to survive. They moved the oven downstairs (although it was very small) to be able to cook with it. In the morning, they were cooking eggs with it. The entire dream the kid was staying close to his mother. Things that might have caused this dream may have been that I saw all of those storms on the news today right before I went to bed, although I didn't think about that at all when going to sleep. Also, I watched Dr. Strangelove recently, so that might have influenced them having to stay under ground (remember the mine shafts at the end of the movie?).
I also had another dream last night/this morning.
I was at school. Me and a couple other people were going on a field trip to some city. At the train station, a couple of us got on by jumping and grabbing bars on the side of the train. One other person (who I knew from my school, he middle eastern, and kind of awkward and not very bright) and I were about to jump on too, but the last car had gone by. So, we went back to the school. It didn't really seem to matter though, no one cared. Then, one of the people who had gotten on the train, had got off at the wrong stop and was completely lost but eventually got back. She said she was really scared and that she was at Perdition (from that movie Road to Perdition probably, although I haven't seen that in years). So, it didn't make much sense. I can't recall that much detail, but hopefully I will regain my old recall abilities.
