      Wandering on the Path…

Hello everyone… This is my brand spankin’ new dream journal…
My Father, LucidDreamGod, has requested I make one to help with dream recall so I hope everyone enjoys reading about my rather interesting, often random dreams…

      Pomegranate & Pills

      [[March 18th, 2008]]<o:p></o:p>
      Pomegranate & Pills<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
I've titled my first nights entries Pomegranate & Pills because I credit my dream's vividness to a couple B Vitamins and Pomegranate Juice I drank that night... I hope you enjoy...

      <o:p></o:p>
Setting: All of my dreams this particular night shared a common setting... It's the future, and I am a student on a planetary base staffed and ran almost entirely by young people. This base is part military, part social, and part scientific and all the students are trained in all of them.

      <o:p></o:p>
Dream 1: The first dream of the night takes place in an extravagant Cafeteria/Food Court on the base... I am sitting at a table, it has a blue table cloth and I'm chatting with some of my classmates. I realize that I'm the only one who has yet to choose what they are going to eat so I go up to the line at which I believe I will get food... I am greeted by an old woman, quite possibly the oldest woman on the base, and she tells me...<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
"You wouldn't like the food I'm serving honey" in a raspy voice... "Go to the other line and down the hall"<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
I follow her instructions and reach another line. This hall is a food court, I can't help but notice the rustic feel the hall has as the ground is cobblestone and the buildings are all brick and wood in construction... I am greeted by another friend who tells me that I should go through the line to get some money...<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
There is a young man in a white uniform handing out money, I pay no attention to what it is made out of or looks like but head down the hall to get some food... <o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
At this point I am unfortunately woken up by my alarm but after turning it off I get back to bed and have yet another dream...<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
Dream 2: This dream is also on the base... I am in some sort of flight simulation chamber... I'm in a fighter and so are all of my students... we are manning rocket loaded turrets and are firing at robotic dummies with that are wielding rocket launchers. After a while I realize that the dummies are not firing their weapons... simply holding them up... I stop firing and my classmates soon follow... we have passed the simulation. The objective was to realize that just because someone looks like an enemy you wait till they take aggressive action first...<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
Once again my alarm clock goes off and I awake yet another time, i quickly get back to bed again...<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
Dream 3: I am in the science department of the base... I am in a dimly lit room and I am an assistant to a female scientist.... she informs me that she needs her computer, I offer to let her use mine but she claims that only her laptop has the information she would need... she throws me a small black case inside which is somewhat of a combination between a flash drive and a key...<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
I get outside the building and see her vehicle... It’s a rather interesting vehicle as I can only describe as a Segway with a large metal front that form fits your body... there is a mask like section that my head fits in and the nose area is pumping cool crisp air into my nose... the vehicle is controlled by three buttons I surprise myself when i see how easily I am controlling it... It starts raining and I start driving off... I approach a red light as the light turn green hundreds of people on their vehicles whirl about in circles and quickly chat with people they are familiar with... a sheer feeling of joy fills me as I drive down the road...<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>
Now I wake up... naturally and I get ready for school... comments are welcome I hope my dream hasn't proven too boring...<o:p></o:p>
      <o:p> </o:p>

I liked it The futuristic theme was cool, and i thought it was awesome how all the dreams had the same setting and everything. I wish I could do that. Why did your alarm go off so much that night?

I think they should rename the "Snooze" button the "Lucid" button.

Snooze dreams = great time to practice dream reentry.

I reallly like the futuristic theme. Did you have an impression of why you were all on the base, or how you got there, or what your mission was? I love the false memories that come with a impossible situation like this to convince you its real.

It was like an academy for really intelligent people... plus i have a decent knowledge of space seeing as I'm an Astronomy and Astrophysics Major... I didn't really second guess it...

Awesome, my dreams very rarely follow similer themes such as this. They sure do have that vivid feel to them when you read about them.

It helps to have vivid dreams, they give more motivation to get lucid, at least for me.

And yes like Robot Butler says, use it to practice dream re-entry, simpley learn to recognize the reaccuring themes when they accure.
