Hi people, and welcome to my personal dream journal... I am new to lucid dreaming so these first few entries will mostly contain my efforts at sharpening my dream recall, hopefully however, things will become more interesting a little further down the line... Anyways... All comments are welcome... And conforming to popular format...

... My ordinary dreams will be written in black
My vivid dreams will be written in green
My nightmares will be written in red
And my lucid dreams will be written in blue

Something i would initially like to point out is that i have had one lucid dream in the past that i am able to recall, it happened when i was quite young (around 8-9 years old.) It went a little something like this...

I found myself in the house that me and my mum were living in at the time, though it differed in appearance, as i walked towards the kitchen, i turned around and saw my mum standing in the living room, although it wasn't my mum, it was in fact a complete stranger, she said something to me which i am unable to recall. This is what triggered my lucidity, "You're not my mum! This is a dream... I'm dreaming!" I said to myself, i then proceeded to smash a vase over my head in order to wake myself up, i felt nothing, i didn't wake up either. At this point i became extremely angry and started flipping out, i started throwing things around and shouting, i then decided to go upstairs and get away from this strange woman. I entered my mums bedroom and found her friend Jamie laying in bed, i told her that there was a weird woman downstairs pretending to be my mum, i can't recall her reply but as she spoke i remembered that i was dreaming. I decided to try and have sex with Jamie, (i was such a little perv!) As she spoke i climbed on top of her and pulled her Nightdress up, i was unsuccessful, probably due to the fact that i lacked the knowledge, therefore i was unable to create a feeling like this within my subconscious mind. I remember feeling disappointed... At this point i lost my lucidity and the dream carried on in the usual, uncontrollable manner. I remember jumping down a big chute in the corner of the room, next thing i knew i was treading water with the bald man from Star Trek in front of me... Soon after the dream ended.

I will always hold on to the memory of this dream as i believe it will aid me in achieving lucidity once more, and, hopefully it will act as a good base as i train myself to make conscious decisions within my dreams, and, ultimately control them....
