Tuesday 05-13-08

I tried to WILD last night but my first mistake was to begin doing it before I had some sleep, it was an interesting experience, though. After relaxing for a while my hands started to feel numb and heavy, as time went by, more and more parts of my body were getting numb and heavy, untill I could only feel my head. I thought I must be getting close and tried to concentrate and count and say that I'm dreaming in my head. My body became very heavy but my head still wasn't. I was getting sleepy too and faded away occasionally. After what must have been 40 minutes I decided to give up and get some sleep. I tried to move and it felt strange as if I was falling but it stopped after a while and I fell asleep.

I had a very strange dream last night, this is what I can remember.

Terrorists

I was looking at a computer screen. I had just downloaded something and I opened it. It appeared to be a level editor and the level looked like a terra-gen landscape. I could see it from above and I noticed some options on the screen, one was to change the sunlight and make sunshafts. I tweaked it a bit untill the clouds were emitting electrical sparks, it looked awesome and vivid. I moved down to the land and I was standing on the ground with some mountains around me but they were white. In one of the mountains was a tunnel. I tried recreating this in the Sandbox2 editor :



I went through the tunnel and on the other side was... more sand. I saw some strange looking sand and I lay down there for a while, suddenly the terrain had colour and I could see a bridge with a river underneath it. On the bridge were some car wrecks and a tank



I saw soldiers running around and a car was closing in from the distance. I knew it was a bomb car and I entered the tank. When the car was close enough I shot it with the machine gun, it kept driving so I shot the cannon, that worked. A few more cars came and I was able to shoot the occupants of the car with the machine gun. A few bombers were running ahead of the car but they were no match for my tank.

When I felt it was safe to leave the tank I walked to one of the cars and inside I found two terrorists sitting on top of eachother. They were very small and they had to sit on top of eachother in order to drive, one had to handle the gas and the other the steering, it was a funny sight. I don't know why but I took out my pistol and shot one in the head. I was about to shoot the other one but I was out of bullets. I asked a soldier next to me if he had bullets, he gave me one. It was way too big and didn't fit the gun. Then the terrorist grabed my gun and loaded it, he then gave it back to me. he made a joke but I can't remember it, we all laughed and then I shot him in the head, I woke up.

Wednesday 05-14-08

I'm having a bad day when it comes to dream recall, only remembered a few parts of what I think is one dream.

I remember chatting with someone over MSN, then my mother gave me a pizza, only it was still frozen. I eat it anyway, I remember tasting the ham.

In another fragment I was washing my hair, dunno how that happened...

Then I found this agenda and I read it, I remember it was a log of things happening in the class. I'm not sure if I was still reading it or if I was actually seeing what I was reading like in a movie.

Another fragment was me being in a gameshop and I remember complaining about the price of a game because I knew it should've had a discount.

Thursday 05-15-08

Another not so good day, I thought I was never going to remember my dream but it finally came back to me when going downstairs. I also remembered a very small fragment on school. I think the lack of sleep and school stress is reducing my dream recall. I'm going to try to remember atleast one dream a day though.

School trip

I remember seeing an area with snowy mountains like the Alps, I saw a family with 2 children with skis. The father was complaining about going there by skiis instead of going by car, I saw some other people getting into their car while he was saying it.

Then I remember something like a school trip to the woods, and than a short fragment of cycling back from it with a friend, I remember having a glass of water attached to my steering wheel, like a cup holder.



Earth

And then a short fragment of another dream, it was about something I saw on the internet about geology. It was about how the continents of the earth were formend and the earth expending rather than the continental plates moving. In my dream they were moving and the earth was expanding as well though, I figured it must've been the most logic answer to this matter for my subconscious.

That sounds almost exactly like what happens when I try to WILD! I wish I could get farther... nice DJ btw.

Yeah, I think I'll try the other techniques because WILDing seems to be the hardest one to get to work, atleast for me.

Friday 05-16-08

Today I didn't recall much, again, I also find it strange that I'm not reality checking in my dreams although I do it quite often while awake. I'm going to continue checking though, hopefully it will get through. This weekend I will try some other stuff I've read to induce lucid dreaming, wish me luck

The less I can remember of my dreams the stranger they appear to get, haha I think this ones pretty funny, atleast for me it is.

I remember being in a fish store, and I had this big lump of fish on my lap, very strange indeed...

Another fragment I was indoors somewhere and I saw somebody I know from the internet, somehow I got very angry at him, it had to do with a doorknob, random huh? After that was something like a laboratory, too bad I can't remember it because it seems like a cool dream.



Alright, let's see how it goes tomorrow

Saturday 05-17-08

I had a lot better dream recall today, probably because I thought I would in the weekends. Anyway, tried to have a lucid dream again, I did like 4 techniques and I ended up forgetting about 2 and the other 2 also failed. I might be pushing too hard so I will just take it slow from now on.

World War II

I remember a small fragment about a World War II documentairy and something with theft during that period.



Arcade

This might have been a false awakening but I can't remember the beginning, the first thing I know is that I was in my bedroom and in the other room were some people sleeping. There was also a person in my room and he claimed to be a game reviewer. We got into a conversation and we ended up talking about GTA IV, he asked me if I had this game and I answered I didn't, then he asked me if I still was going to get it and I responded that I wasn't sure. I have been thinking about getting this game and others have asked me in waking life so thats probably why this recurred in my dream.

Then I noticed that next to my tv was a big pile of old arcade games and collector editions. I got excited and asked if we could play some of them. We played a game that kinda looked like the game Break Out but instead of a fixed world you could actually scroll and go left and right. This got confusing quickly because the ball was often out of sight. We then played some other classics.

I then remember another documentairy like fragment about a sims like game but then actually in first person. the game characters were going to a hospital like building but thats all I can remember because I forgot to write this part down, interesting that I can still remember this part in the evening...

Really not alot of dream signs other than the fact that I often have documentairy like dreams, I should RC when I'm watching these.

Sunday 05-18-08

So, I tried waking up at 7 and staying up till 8 and then going back to bed. I didn't have a lucid but probably one of my best dreams ever and I almost remember everything

Note : this all happened in just 2 hours, I am amazed how much I've experienced in such a short time.

Dinner party

It began with a dinner party with some relatives, I remember going to a river before we had dinner, it was a very hot day and the river had a brownish color. I jumped in and under the water surface I saw some shrimps, they were huge and I could catch them with little effort. I threw the first one at the side of the river, somehow it managed to slide back into the river though. When I catched the next one I threw it way further, I kept messing about till I had enough of it. I came out of the river and I saw that the shrimp was almost back into the river, I quickly picked it up but then my father told me they weren't edible. I threw the shrimp back into the river but It didn't move. Me and my father walked back to the dinner site and I overheard a conversation with my mom. Someone told my mother that we hadn't catched anything, I thought that was strange but quickly forgot about it. Then we had dinner and I put on some of my music, somehow my nephew liked it, although its was thrash metal and he's like five. Anyway, when we were done eating everyone was leaving and I followed them. I discovered I could jump very far and I start jumping back and forth, it was awesome.

We came at a door and it was opened, behind it were some old people. I saw two old men sit at a table and I walked to them, I saw that one of them could barely walk and the other was still sitting on his chair. The one who could barely walk took something out of his pocket, it was a medicine bottle. He took a pill from it and a few seconds later he walked around and made some strange moves before jumping out of the window. I asked the man on the chair if he ever took those pills and I said he sometimes did. I picked one of the pills up that were laying on the table and tasted it, it had a sauer/sweet taste but then I realised that I shouldn't be having these pills so I threw them away. This could have been a lucid dream because I normally wouldn't take an unknow medicine, I should be looking at what I'm eating next time as a dream sign.



This is probably a different dream but it starts with the two old men I met earlier.

African tribe

I was in an african village and I saw the two old men again, they were fighting with the tribe. It wasn't a real fight though, it was for a movie, kinda like indiana jones. The camera crew had taken cover behind a shed and they threw bamboo weapons at the old men. The weapons could shoot a bamboo stick, but only one so the crew was busy resupplying the old men. Some of the tribe men were acting dead, the others we're fighting back or running away. After a while they were done filming and one DC in the film crew was sitting on a swing then a tribe DC also went for a swing, thats all I can remember.



Now comes the dream I enjoyed most, I had been watching a movie with Jack Black the night before, it was called Tenacious D In The Pick Of Destiny. I'm sure you've heard of it, if you haven't, go watch it! hehe...

Jack Black undercover

It started in a sewer, I walked through it untill I arrived in a hotel. This hotel was a mobs headquarter and I had to infiltrate it. I can remember going out to a few missions and always returning through the sewers. I went through the sewers about 4 times, The third time I came back from a mission where I had to assassinate a few people. This is where I discovered I had magical powers, I could shoot fireballs, freeze people and shoot lightning. I returned to the hotel and found myself in one of the rooms. It was a room with red paper hangings, in the room was also a surveillance tv. I looked at it and I saw policemen running into the building.

I ran out of the hotelrooms door and I was in the hallway. Other mobs were there and there appeared to be no way out, I started trying doors, finally I found one leading to a stairway. I went down, this took a while because I was in a flat. When I came down I immediately noticed policemen at the hotel entrance, I hid behind the stairs and made myself as small as possible. I saw 2 shoes coming at me from under the stairs, then I saw the legs and finally the whole agent. He started talking to me but I took a sprint to the door, I was outside. At the other side of the road was another flat, I crossed the street and started running to a river. When I arrived there the agent had already shot a me a few times but missed, he also informed me of my crimes, something like a murder and two other crimes.

I jumped into the river and behind me was the sewer entrance, I quickly entered as I saw the policeman in the corner of my eyes. I immediately knew something was wrong as I entered the sewer, it didn't look familiar, I tried a few places that were usually the exits but they were all flooded. I kept walking untill I found an open area filled with rusty fences, it was like a maze. I found my way through it but halfway through I bumped into another obstacle, zombies! They had strange colors like green, yellow or blue. I tried to dodge them and arrived at a door. At the other side of this door was a large room filled with more zombies and a person in flames, kinda like that guy from Fantastic 4. I started shooting the zombies with fireballs, this had no effect and I switched to lightning. I was making one hit kills but then the fire guy started shooting lazer beam with his eyes, I dodged them and after a few hits with my lightning he was down. I finished off the other zombies and there was another door, I opened it.

I saw jack black and the guitar guy open the door and they looked in awe at what was behind the door, I woke up.

Really haven't had much interesting to post but here's some short fragments I can remember from the last two days.

Monday 05-19-08

Something with robots and technical details about it.

This dream is about an old person that is about to die, I see him slowly die, he stops breathing.

Oh yeah, I am standing outside and I see a swimming pool filled with pudding. I'm supposed to clean it.

Tuesday 05-20-08

I am on a visit at someone I'm supposed to know for a long time and he is going to teach my something during my visit.

A movie about ghosts, this is a recurring dream, I can't remember much of it though.

Here's what I remember from Wednesday, pretty good.

Wednesday 05-21-08

There's two soldiers patrolling a street, one is killed by a polar bear, the other one runs towards the noise and he finds a dog being attacked by the bear. He cuts the dog with his knife and the bear stops attacking them, how random...

I am in a new house, on my room. Someone enters it and asks me if I want to come, I follow him. When we arrive I see someone with a very thin television in her hands, she is waching a soccer match. Then later in the dream is a chase scene, at the end the doors of the cars open with a strange force that emits a green light. I ask what it is but don't get a clear answer.

Thursday 05-22-08

Today I had the best dream recall and MY FIRST LUCID, thats right! I'm so excited

City trip

I am sitting behind my pc, my dad asks if I want to go to the city with him. I say yes, and we get into the car. We drive for a short time and arrive at a big store. We enter it, somehow I have this motorbike inside the store and I drive it up a personnel lift. As I go up my front tire gets stuck and it punctures. I get very angry and I leave the store, after a while I go back. I walk around a bit and decide to go to the entrance of the store. It suddenly is night and in the distance I can see some people walking over the car park. Someone walks passed me, he has a small child with him and he's wearing an Iron Maiden shirt. I decide I want to drive back home on my bicycle but my dream starts to fade and I wake up.

While awake, I figured I'd might as well attempt a DEILD and I try to remember my dream. I start to dream again and I'm at the shop again, not lucid though I start cycling back home and it's becoming darker. I cycle into a small tunnel with doors on the sides, when I arrive at the end I discover the door to the exit is locked. I start to panic and I cycle back to the other end of the tunnel, a door opens, I wake up.



My grandmother is visiting us, she asks me some quistions that I can't remember, then she leaves and suddenly its night. I walk into the livingroom while thinking of something to do, I do a quick RC but something isn't right. I look at my hands and I get a strange feeling, then my view "pulls" back and I see two more hands, the fingers are bent back unnatural. At this point I had pretty much figured out I was dreaming so I start to think of stuff I can do. But before I can do anything my dream starts to fade, I try rubbing my hands and spinning around but eventually I wake up.

Again I attempt to DEILD and it works! I'm back in my house only there is a party going on, I see some people sitting around a table. The image is very sharp and vivid, like I just put on my glasses. I turn around and I see some kittens sitting in the sink, I do an RC and again I end up with 4 hands. I walk outside and attempt to fly, after a while I'm starting to glide and I manage to get on top of a roof. The roof seems like a good place to start flying and I jump off. I'm flying through a village with some medieval influences, I turn around some buildings and I see a DC with medieval clothing. He is wielding a sword, it has a red glow when looking at it from an angle. He stares at me and then starts running towards me, I'm trying to focus and make him dissapear, it works but only a little. A few moments later he appears again but he starts to flee. I start to chase him and I make him dissapear again, he warps across the street and drops his sword. I loose sight of him and I pick up his sword. I'm trying to use the sword to push myself off from the ground. But I can't seem to fly again, I come across a bow shooting range, still trying to fly around I fail to notice a DC. He approaches me and starts to tell me he wants to kill me so he can take over my dream world. He aims his bow at me and is ready to fire, I'm trying to make him dissapear but its not working, I'm losing lucidity and I start to panic. The bowman is nearly going to fire and I stretch out my arms as a last defence. I'm touching the arrow now, I pull the arrow from his bow and brake it to pieces. He starts to chase me, I'm running around looking for a weapon but its too late. A sword swings right at me and I'm hit, I wake up.

Haven't had much time to write in my dream journal but I've kept my notes, here's what I dreamt last few days.

Friday 05-23-08

Something with dogs, I had a false awakening and in the false awakening I tried to DEILD, I had some sort of HI and was dragged into a dream but woke up.

An old lady was standing in the garden and pulled out a gun, she starts to shoot children who are passing by.

I then wake up in my own garden lol!

Saturday 05-24-08

I remember breaking into a futuristic looking building, there are lazers everywhere and I need to recover a very special weapon. I trigger one of the lazer beams and I try to hide but a guard finds me. We end up fighting and I'm in possession of the gun somehow, It can only be fired by mental powers and mine aren't strong enough, I can only fire it a couple of times and then someone else takes it over and starts to shoot like crazy. The guard flees and I wake up.

Sunday 05-26-08

I'm at school, I'm walking around outside, the school doesn't appear to be my school. I see some people drive off and I realize I've missed class. I start to run and I end up somewhere in china in a huge city. I'm underground and there are loads of stores and stuff.

Monday ???

Tuesday 05-27-08

I walk around in my house and I find this book. It belongs to my grandfather and I start to read it, there's some funny things in it but I don't understand half of it. Then my father tells me it has black magic or something and he starts to do some sort of ritual to protect me. The book suddenly becomes wet and we leave it on a table.
