Lokabrenna's Dream World

I only joined the other day, and posted enough in my previous post to make me realise a dream journal here would not be too tricky!

I lucid dream a lot naturally, but I have picked up a few techniques like reality checks and a bridge for teleportation from the web. I do not have god like powers, just some softer powers like form change, flying, and the ability to change what is around me like plants.

I always lucid dream to the same town, with some of the same people. There is a big black cat, who talks and guides me to places, and a small black cat that is just a normal cat. Both help me see I am dreaming when they appear, so are triggers for me. I have many friends in my dream town, who I love and interact with like real people.

Here is my dream from Last night.

An Afternoon in the Maze

The big black cat was in my room in the shared house when i arrived into my dream, sleeping on the floor stretched out, then i knew it was a dream as soon as I saw him, and i was lucid. He is always so relaxed, sleepy, like he has been asleep waiting for me while I have been awake. We spoke for a while about what he had been up to, not much apparently, and he asked me to follow for today. I knew where we were going as he had told me yesterday (see below). We left my room, today it was decorated in a plain shaker style. Down the stairs, past the lounge where some of my friends were together, just reading and playing board games, out the front door. It was daylight, about 3ish I think in the afternoon. He took me to the gates of the big garden, then through the garden to the maze again to see one of my dream soul mates who was waiting there, a man who is 26 years old, dark hair and soft eyes with long eyelashes, I already know him in my dream world, yesterday we had met at the maze. Another person was watching us, it made me feel uneasy, I'm not sure who they were, they moved to fast for me to see their face. I didnt worry too much about this, as it happens occasionaly but no bad comes of it. Maybe the stranger had come back?

It was a sunny day, lots of birds singing, and me and my soul mate chatted and played in the maze till we hit the middle, where we lay down and watched the clouds together, I thought of a field of corn and the leafy maze crumbled away and corn grew up around us, my friend was pleased and we kissed. He had brought food, wine, and some books for me to take back to my room for another time. I could smell the corn, and feel the stubbly bits where we had lied on it poking me in the back. We held hands and chatted and enjoyed an afternoon together in the field alone.

Later I went to the bridge to scene change, and chose an image of the room I want to move into in the shared house, the attic room. To explain this fully, i just stood up in the corn field, said bye to my friend and then the bridge was there infront of me, i stepped on, and the scenes flickered past like an old movie till i picked the attic room scene, put my hand out and stepped in.

The attic was full of junk when I arrived there, I'm not sure what to do with it all, its all books and stuffed birds and things. The light in the room is amazing, tall roof windows with the sunlight streaming in. They overlook the gardens and the big house, when I looked out last night there were loads of people streaming into the house, for some event maybe. I stayed in the room, its my fave place at the mo, just looking at the old things and sitting on the windowsill watching all the people at the house. I thought about painting, but couldnt get motivated, I don't know how long i stayed, a few hours maybe, till night came and I left for the house.

I used the bridge again, and joined the party at the house. Lots of people I knew were there, my dream friends and lovers, the rooms were fluid though, i was loosing control of the dream and for a while things became a bit hecktic and noisy as i went back to a normal dream, not lucid. It was headonsitic, fancy dress and animals all over the place, drugs and drink. I got control and became lucid again when I saw my little black cat sat on a windowsill watching me, its a good trigger and I had my fun there with my dream friends and woke this morning still sleepy.

Is that enough detail? I can remember much more, like what the lights were like in the ballroom, what I was wearning, what i drank.....you get the idea!

I am also going to record here a dream I had a couple of nights ago, so this one comes before the one i just posted above (agggh confused!)

First Visit to the Maze

I just seem to drop into this dream, no real start point, and I'm in one of the shops in the dream town. The shop is large and for tourists, lots of nick nacks on tables, in a big warehouse like setting. I'm only semi lucid, trying to get my brain to wake up, and I can see i'm on some sort of school trip. The shop is full of people my age (ummm not school age?), but we are all together as a group visiting this shop, and when i look out the window a large coach is there ready to take us all home. I become lucid after some fight with my head and decide for myself im not getting on the coach, like everyone else is now doing, so i just step out of the shop and I'm by the big house, which i now recognise. With me is someone new, a man who is great looking, he smiles at me cheekly and I decide we need to go somewhere quiet.

I know the grounds of the big house, and head to the formal garden as it has hedges and things, nice and private for what I am planning with my new found stranger. But when we get there i'm confused, as there is a maze of hedges, its newly planted, all soil allover the place. Excited by this new fun place to play I drag my stranger inside, but I run and run and soon loose him in the hedges so im alone. From round the side of a tall hedge in the maze someone I know appears, im happy to see him as we are in love and he pushes me onto the hedge and kisses me passionatly, running his hand up my thigh and making me tingle. But for a moment i feel bad because i was here with someone else....and where is he? I'm worried about being caught kissing this man i know, by a stranger, which is weird. Normaly here it doesnt matter, no one gets angry. I get the feeling my stranger doesnt fit here and hes not going to understand the rules.

So i run again, loosing my known friend, i feel he wont mind, i will be back later, he is very easy going. I find the stranger, but hes a bit unhappy for me loosing him in the maze, so i tell him i will take him home, that its nice there.

I use the bridge, we both step on and we go to my room in the shared house. My room changes all the time, the furniture and style of it, but its always in the same house. Today its very modern, sleek like a hotel, a large bed with white crisp linen that me and the stranger fall into. We are fooling around when i can hear noises and the big cat is here, purring and washing himself, and i feel intruded on. It seems he is behind the sofa but his big paws are poking out. The stranger is freaked, he really doesn't fit here, even more freaked as the big cat slinks out and onto the bed with me, and we hug. I am now bored of the strangers normallness, and he just vanishes, i guess cos i dont need him right now.

So its me, and the big cat in my room. He's lovely and comforting, purring away and i ask about the maze, why its there, who made it. He tells me its for me and my friend, the one who was in there waiting for me. The big cat says he has to take me there, I get the idea he means now, but neither of us want to leave and i'm feeling sleepy, loosing my lucidness, losing control. I try not to close my eyes but the purring is making me sleepy and i close my eyes and wake up.

IRL its early morning, 5am, sun up and the birds are singing, so i lie very still, think about the big cat and try to sleep again. I do sleep, I wake at 7.30 am, but i have no dream recall.

Last night I didn't sleep very well, I had decided to try to WILD into my dream after reading up on how to last night, so went to bed with that in mind. Counting backwards dropped me into SP which was frightening, the swooshing noise freaked me out several times and I woke with a jump. I also had the falling feeling, which was nice, but then failed to drop into a LD.

I did dream, lots of snippets, some lucid, some not, some with powers, some lucid but powerless. I did manage to drop back into my dreams each time i woke last night, but the SP between dreams frightened me a few times and I woke up properly. So in summary im struggling to WILD and dream exit ludid dream cos of the loud swooshy noise when i get SP.

My main dream I have good recall on though, and I was lucid, but rather lacking in control last night.

The Lab

I'm looking down onto a room below, through a large internal glass window, it feels like a lab, kinda like in jurassic park! Below me the room is large, and has large doors to the right that open out onto a safari park type scene. The man is inspecting some very larger tiger cubs, kinda tigers crossed with leopards, and the mother leopard cat is rubbing around the man, its very large, larger than a normal big cat. I knock on the glass and he waves me down, but as i move away from the window towards the stairs he is shooing the cats into the park and closing the doors.

Once downstairs i chat to him as we walk to a coridoor. I'm wearning a white coat like a doctor or vet. He tells me that big cat is fine with him, but they would tear anyone else at the lab apart. The cats are endangered so its a captive breeding program, so they must remain as wild as possible. We go through a door into a control room type office with a panoramic window that has views over the park, i can see many of these giant cats, and cubs, and also very large fierce looking monkeys, sitting near the top of the fence. The fence is electric at the top, i can see the signs. Other people are working here and say hi as i pass their desks.

I'm lucid but confused as this is new, I look out the window for signs of where I am but there are no clues, so i pull a blind up on the other side of the room to see a wide canal, and my town on the other side, phew, relief. Where is my cat? I feel lonely, this isnt where I normaly play.

Suddenly there is panic in the control room, the fence has lost power, emergency power has failed, I look out onto the park and those monkeys are flowing over the fence towards us. I run to the doors and lock them, but the locks are flimsy, as are ones on the window when i try to lock them. People look frightened, and I see the only way to escape is to get over the canal, but can the monkeys swim? I figure not and the canal is there to protect the village. I run to the man and point out my idea, he agrees and as a group we flee the control room and out a back door onto the canal.

I see big cat, he is there on the other side looking worried, i should not be here at the lab, its not safe, and me and the others jump into the water as monkeys swam over the lab building behind us. Its very cold and muddy, and i worry what is in there but make it over to the other side.

Big cat rubbs up to me and tries to push me away from the canal, he cant talk with these people here, i know hes wanting me to leave. But i stand and watch with the others as the lab explodes, a huge cloud and then rubble. Everything is gone, no lab, no monkeys. The cats in the field can just be seen slinking into the jungle beyond, my big cat looks pleased but im confused and shocked, things dont usualy blow up or go wrong here, im lacking control today.

Me and big cat walk back into the town slow and sadly, and visit two indian girls i know in the village, they collect antiques. Upstairs in their house they show me a lovely silver box, lined with red velvet. Its got a pattern of ivy leaves all over it, very lifelike, but its expensive, i can tell. They also show me a vase made of semi transparent glass, like milk. It also has leaves on it carved into a red coloured glass overlayed onto the milk glass. One of the indian girls gives it to me, i don't understand the price ticket, but hand some money over that does the trick.

Its been strange, big cat is strange to me today, he is distracted, and this dream is being very dream like with spates of control. I return home with the vase but as i hit my room I wake up as my partner IRL is getting out of bed.

Last night I had a lucid dream, it started as a normal dream, but i realised i was dreaming and became very lucid, no great god powers though, but did have some fun until someone came and made some trouble for me, though i felt like somehow i had made it for myself and i was someones problem.


Mirrors in the toy shop

I drop into this dream in the shopping arcade, its a long row of shops in an indoor arcade that is rather victorian looking. The shops are classy and busy. I'm in the arcade, looking into the window of the toy shop, there are loads of old fashioned toys like spinning tops, animal masks and wooden animals.

A man starts to approach me, but he is angry and menacing, and i quickly realise i need to get away from him. Though as i'm fairly lucid I know this will be pretty easy, i have powers he does not. I bob into the toy shop just as he gets close to me and starts to talk to me, hes saying he needs to talk to me, that i can't run away, there is no where to go, and hes very annoyed at me.

Once in the shop i pick up a toy that is a painted cube, on each side is a pastoral scene, slightly surreal, with bambi type deer running in green fields, very cartoon like. I drop myself into the scene, so now im a picture on the cube, a girl in a white dress. The grass isnt real, its plastic, and now i can see out of the cube into the shop. The man comes in, heads right for the cube, and picks it up. He is still angry and yells at me to get out and grow up, he is shaking the cube which is making me wobble allover. The cube isn't working as a hiding place, so i drop back into the toy shop, using the force of him shaking the cube to throw me clear of him, and leggit up the stairs.

Upstairs are lots of mirrors, the oval kind on a wooden frame that stand up, dressing mirrors. They are ornate and carved with scrolls and leaves, i cant see myself in them, just a milky blueness, and i step into a mirror quickly as the man gets to the top of the stairs. I'm giggling, he is angry and looking for me in the mirror, but i step out fast and into another, jumping between each one like doors. He's getting very frustrated and i just giggle and giggle.

The man is very angry, violently so, and smashes his hand into the mirror i am in and i fall tumbling out onto the broken glass. This isnt funny anymore, the glass hurts and i am cut, staining my white dress. He drags me up off the floor by my arm and i feel weak and sickly as soon as he touches me. He is marching me out of the shop into the arcade. No one seems to be able to see us anymore, and he moves quickly to a door in the arcade and pushes me through.

I feel so sickly, i can hardly walk and he's holding me up by my arm to move me along, I feel like im going to faint and my vision has gone blurry. We arrive in a room with two women, he chats to them in a hurry, releasing my arm. I flop onto the floor in a pile, my dress is a mess of blood and i still feel weak so i just sit on the floor. One of the women opens a chest up at the end of a bed in the room, she looks concerned and frightened of me, and she lifts out a dark red cloak with a large hood. She throws it over to me, suddenly i feel cold and feel the need to put the cloak on. I shuffle upright, put on the cloak, put the hood over my head. Warm and comforting, I lie down on the floor and sort of doze, still feeling woozy.

Some time has passed, im still here on the floor, im lying on my back in the cloak and feel a bit better. I can't see the people anymore, i'm still in the same room though. I stand up and i wobble a bit but im ok, its cold in the room so i wrap my cloak around me. There is a bed, large and ornate, the chest, no windows, a desk...its like a hotel room. There is a large wooden door. I'm lucid and feel i have some power back so go to open the door, telling myself it will open as this is my dream. But it wont open. I try and call the bridge, but it wont come. I sit on the bed to think, and flop onto my back onto the soft covers.

I'm there, thinking about what to do, and if i should wake, when the door opens and in comes someone i know, we will call him 'James' (though he is a real person IRL, and this is not his name). James is pleased to see me, and im pleased to see him too. He swaggers over to me lying on the bed and crawls over me with a smile, asking me how i am. I say i feel sickly, and this isnt the place for that, though i don't move him off me. He cuddles me, snuggles into my hair and puts his hands inside the cloak and all over me. I giggle and push him off playfully telling him he knows he can't do that. He slinks of me with fake sadness, smiling as he pulls a silly fake sad face.

Taking my had he pulls me off the bed, the door is open and we walk through it. I'm still a bit wobbly, and he steadys me with a look of concern on his face as he helps me out of the room. Once through the door he puts the hood over my face, bundles me close to him and rushes me through the arcade and out into the fields beyond. We area heading for the trees, but i sense i'm being hidden and keep my head down hidden in the cloak.

Once in the trees i feel much better, the sun is shining, james pulls back my hood and im safe. He smiles at me, licks his thumb and rubs some blood from my face like i'm a kid. It feels like James has rescued me and i'm pleased. My powers seem to be ok, i test things by asking a tree to produce flowers and the forest bursts into bloom.

I know where we are going, and as i think this the cabins come into view. They are wooden, clustered together in the woods. People are there, pleased to see myself and James, though as i break away from him to the group some people come and chat to him in concerned tones, looking at me with worried little faces. But i'm fine, lucid, people I know are here and I quickly change my outfit back to a nice flowing white dress with a thought and join the party.

I recognise a young man i know and he hugs me tight, others in the party greet me, and over on a wooden veranda i see my big cat with a big dog i don't know. He winks at me and we exchange knowing smiles.

Somehow in my dreams, I dont talk much, I just seem to chat by thinking and looking at someone. Its the same here, and when I was with James. Words are not spoken, you just think and know what is said. This is how the party is conducted, though other people are talking and i can hear what they are saying, its just party banter, and an overheard argument about a shared house and the rent. It seems in my dream world everyone lives in communes.

I slink onto the veranda with the big cat, James is there chatting to him. It's all fine here I'm with my own people and its safe and warm. I smile at James and we wander into the lodge which is empty, onto the sofa and he runs his hands allover me again. We have sex on the sofa, passionate and giggly sex, fooling around and teasing him, which he seems to enjoy. Pulling me down on the sofa when i pretend to run away from him, he is strong and much bigger than me, making me feel girly and giggly. I doze there with him, not for long, until I wake in the morning to my alarm.

People from real life don't usually visit me in my dreams, so it was unusual 'james' was there. Though he was an improved version, handsomer, fitter, like he was modeled on someone in the real world, but better! Im not sure who the angry man was who kidnapped me, or why my dream wouldnt let me do what i wanted in that room. I have been to the arcade and lodges before and they fit into my mind map of the town.

Too bad the alarm woke you up =/ but still, awesome dreams ^^
