lately ive been a lot more interested in lucid dreaming. ive been able partially control my dreams since i was little but only to a small extent. i think most people have this much control. usually its like watching a movie through my own eyes, watching myself do things and go places. sometimes i get lucky and go... !!! im dreaming! and all of a sudden gain complete control over everything i do.

a few months ago i read about WILD and tried that, i think it was a few days later after reading about it and staying up hours every night trying to do it that i finally worked. for me it seems to work only when during the day or after i wake up.
i remember the first time particularly well because it was so new and strange to me. it was a long time ago so some details are probably lost...
i remember the buzzing through my body and then the shaking, then i started hearing like this whistling loud "wind" sound in my ears. i was scared and got up because i didnt think that would really happen, ive read about it but i thought it was exaggerated lol
well, about 10 minutes later i began getting the same feelings again. after the loud wind sounds in my ears it felt so strange, it felt like my arms and legs were floating upward while my body was sinking into the bed. it felt so real, i was breathing very fast and my heart was beating quickly so i was afraid id lose it. all of a sudden the sensations went away, i was just sitting there on my bed, i sat up, walked to my door, and WOKE UP, i had no idea i was in a dream, everything was that clear and real to me.

it was the oddest thing ive ever done, the problem with me is that everytime i WILD i just end up laying in my bed, like nothing happened.

the next WILD i had was almost exactly the same as before, but the sensations werent quite as strong. i got up, went to the door, and when i went into the hallway of my house i realized everything was different, to me it was amazing because i was completely aware that i was dreaming, everything was so clear. the hallway was much wider than usual and my grandma was sitting in a doorway... odd
i quickly went to my bathroom because i remembered that looking into a mirror will not be the same as in real life. i was looking in the mirror and it was really blurry, my head was taller and strange looking.
i then proceded to the living room where i saw my dog and dad, well, my dog is dead so that was a little strange. i remember petting my dog and her hair feeling just like it did in real life. and for some reason i wanted to jump because walking felt different, like gravity was a little stronger than usual.
when i jumped i "floated" up about 3 feet and then a much stronger than usual gravity pulled me down hard and at a strange angle. then i woke up because i was too excited, this was the most lucid dream i had ever had, and getting to it through WILD was very exciting.

for a few months i tried to WILD again but with lousy results. sometimes it would kinda work or nothing really happened.
just recently i was able to WILD twice in the same day, this time i did a reality check. i did the one where you pull on your finger. it worked and i was laughing because it was just so weird. at first i could just feel my hand grabbing and pulling on the tip of my finger, it felt real, like if you or i did it right now, then the tip of my finger slowly extended about 5 inches out and it was partially transparent. i laughed, i guess it went back to normal when i looked away

about 10 minutes after i woke up from that dream i was able to WILD again and did the same reality check. it was just as weird and as funny to me as
before.

its been months and months and months and ive only had about 5 WILDs. i think i may have had more but they were rather unsuccessful and not memorable.

for me, going through the WILD sensations feels almost normal now, i feel rather relaxed while its happening. the only problem is i start breathing fast and i have trouble slowing it down.
i want to be able to have lucid dreams everyday, and im not sure how to go about getting better at it..
