      In Situ

      Hello.

Please take a moment to pause and look away. After a moment, look back. Did you see the same text? If you did, you most likely are not dreaming. =)

      (June 2nd 2009).

In process of transferring other DJ's to here! I apologize for the lack of proper formatting and any readability issues.

      Note to self:

      Transfer the following:

      Redwall
crazy funky colored coral and the speedy ship
      angry cloud
nightmare - flaming sun (ironic, isn't it? a flaming sun!)
      alter-ego alien adventure
      spaceship shape shift
      Flying. (LD)
      Falling. (LD?)
      Vampire (Semi-LD).

Every once and a while I will get a very short but very vivid dream. I did not know what caused these for the longest time. I think I finally may have a hunch. I'll call these dreams "bursts" because they're quick and vivid.

When these happen my body is often warm. One time I noticed my heart rate was higher than normal. After I woke up in the early morning hours, I was cool and my heart rate was low.

I have noticed that I feel as though things are moving around in my abdomen - so I suspect that these occour when digestion is happening! When I have been awake and missed the "golden window" for these []bursts[/b], I suspect food has been digesting! Have you had an experience like this?

I remember two of these dreams... or at least, parts of them.

One dream I was walking down the stairs in my house. At the bottom was a tall but thin pile of laundry and the laundry basket that sits in my bathroom. I proceeded to tip this pile over. It was nighttime, with no lights on in the house. I felt paranoid. I then went downstairs into my basement and hung down there for a little bit. The concrete floor was fractured. I want to say there was water but I can't remember for certain.

In another burst, I was looking outside the same staircase as was in the above dream. It was daytime - the sun was golden, and everything appeared bright and crispy. My field of view began to float towards the window and outside. All the colors were bright and clear, especially the golden hues from sunlight. In the dream, I didn't have any concious awareness of my own body or self in the dream. It was as if I was a camera and the camera was moving towards the window.

The third burst occoured in a restaraunt or bed-and-breakfast eating room. I remember walking into this room. The floor was hardwood, possibly unlaquered. The tables and chairs were an older style, like what Cracker Barrel has.

      7:27 PM:

I remember having a WILD one time via meditation! Several years ago, I sat down in my room and began breathing yoga exercizes. After a few minutes of getting comfy and relaxed, I had a dream! A white tower appeared on the top of a grassy hill. A few trees were to the left. The dream-itation reminded me of Dave Matthew Band's cover for Jimmy Hendrix's "All Along the Watchtower". I think I found the watchtower! =D

      WILD: 2
      LD: 2?

Heh, well, good start on creating a dream journal, one of the most important tools a lucid dreamer will ever have. :]

Also, I deleted your other thread in here, just to let you know.

      Sure!

      First of all, WRITE.
When you wake up, write stuff, you will most likely forget it later.
If you have some extra time, write what you were feeling when you woke up, maybe what side of the bed you slept on, or what you ate before you went to sleep~
Even if you don't remember anything, write something!
Lay in your bed, and relax when you wake up. Just focus and think, try and let any memories or thoughts come to you, don't force anything. Meditate, if you like.

Random useful things to know, good luck, and PM me or a staff member if you have any more questions.
