interesting note: i woke up this morning knowing that i had a dream, but i couldn't remember it. i was kind of annoyed at myself. well, as i was eating breakfast, i remembered the "squatting monkeys tell no lies" skit by dana carvey i had watched right before going to bed. BAM! i suddenly remembered a vivid scene from a dream involving that skit. That led to me remembering another dream as well.

i was in the back of the van with my family, repeating for them part of dana carvey's "squatting monkeys tell no lies" skit. but i gave up because they didn't laugh, and i felt pretty stupid. (i remember quoting two minutes of his skit literally word-for-word - the part about weird religions)

i was driving a yellow car along a busy four or five lane winding road (which might have been on a bridge). it was like i was the camera in those racing games, with the different views. i started out in fly-by view - i was stationary while my car drove by me. then i was in the standard 'racing' mode where i watched my car from above and steered it from there. after this scene ended i went to some other dream-scene, but i definitely remember coming back to this scene at least three times. it was like i was driving to different dreams.

disjointed images i remember: a haunted house in the middle of a foggy wood...my brother disappearing as we passed through some pink portal/barrier thingy.
