      The Dream Journal of Andrew1123

Welcome to my online dream journal. I will try to be consistent with updating it, and hopefully I may leave drawings or other art inspired by my dreams. Feel free to leave feedback if you wish.

I had been on and off asleep and awake that morning. It was a Friday, and I didn't have school. I was in my bed with my eyes closed. Suddenly, I realized that I was dreaming... I had felt this before, it was weird, like I was watching my body in third-person, but I couldn't see anything because my eyes were closed. I was in the same dilemma I had been in once before, afraid to open my eyes or even move out of bed, in case I woke up. The other morning I must have given up, drifting back into un-lucidity, but this time I was determined.

I felt heavy pulling my body off my bed. I opened one eye, then pried open the other. I was standing next to my bed. So I decided to do a reality check. I paced over to my bed, walking on top of it, while trying to push my right index finger through my left palm. It didn't work. I walked over to the door of my bedroom, deciding to do a reality check I hadn't done before. This time I just looked at my right hand. It had probably about 3 too many fingers.

I was dreaming! So I walked out of my bedroom, and I remembered the task of the month. I went searching for a jack-o-lantern in my house. I found some stuffed toy jack-o-lanterns in my living room, piled up with all kinds of other holiday stuffed toys. I had only one-sided conversations. "Hello, hello, hello" I said to one toy, pacing through my kitchen with it in my hands. I got no response back. After going back to find a better jack-o-lantern, I woke up. For real.
