      why use a journal

I don't think you need a dream journal all you have to do is think about the dream alot I have not been using a dream journal for several months and I am still an LDer.

      its different for everyone.
Dream journals help alot of people, perhaps not you, but thats not a reason to discourage others.

For me i find a good thing about a journal is the ablity to look back at your past experineces and gain motivation from them. So even though i dont write in the detail i used to i still outline the main things that happend or seemed intresting so i have somthing to look back at later.

I plan to record my dreams on paper because if I don't I almost always completely forget them. Sometimes I can just run the dream through my mind on awakening, and simply remember, but that is very rare for me. Plus it's fun to go back and read dreams you almost forgotten.

Writing in the Dream Journal has become a habit now and its a excelent story of my journeys trough this fantasy realm. When looking back i see myself in symbols. I find inspiration and creativity for my daily job. And its alot of fun to see how i progress.

Well, I personally love my dreams because sometimes they play out like movies with great storylines, so I like keeping a record of them so I can look back and relive them later.

Plus, I love asking questions on yahoo answers that use my dreams and freak people out, and make them ask if I'm on any types of drugs.

      Real question I asked:

What would you do if you were talking to someone and they suddenly turned into a red toy car?

Seriously, this just happened to me. I was talking to this girl and she just suddenly turned into a red toy car. I just picked her up, walked off and kept talking to her.

      Real answer I got:

so what kind of beer/pharmaceutical combination are you taking?? cuz i really want to try it out too... and see what my sister could turn into...

      or this one:

A ghost kidnapped a girl I was talking to?

Think I should go after it with a magic baseball bat capable of hitting ghosts?

      Real answer I got:

make sure you land one right in the side of his head... knock him out, then kick the crap out of him while he's down! damn that ghost... he kidnapped a guy i was talking to yesterday!! get him for me too! ♥

Provides me with a source of never ending amusement. xD Half the people think you're on drugs and the other half play along and give hilarious answers! xD

Here's my profile if you want to read of the questions or awesome answers I've gotten! :http://answers.yahoo.com/my/profile;...a&preview=true

Wow after 5 years this thread has to be the oldest thread I made that was ever revived .

I still have the belief that it's possible to have good recall and not have to write down your dreams, however this is purely for those who don't have the time or patience to write down their dreams, or simply don't find the dream interesting enough to write down.

Haha, I was so sensitive to other's feelings back then.

      Remember this?

I try to write in my dream journal when I can. Especially if the dream was intense or lucid. I keep a record of all the lucids I've had.
