Night of January 2/3, 2009 - NLD, NLD
For some reason, I'm in my old class of "People Project" (home eq.) from seventh and eighth grade(s). My class is gathered around, though they're in their seats, and I know that they're just sitting there. I'm in Kitchen 3 (obviously, where we do the cooking) sitting and looking at them. I remember a boy from my class and I smile at him. But I'm not sure what I'm doing there. No matter how short this dream is, it ends, and it changes to another one.
Non-Lucid Dream
I am walking home from the bus stop, passing by my family's farm, and I pause to see the hay bails. I set down my back pack, remembering my chores. I run in through a gap in the trees, grab a bail, and try to carry it up the hill that is in the trees. However, I can't get it up, and I'm not strong enough. So I turn, and, as usual, I am caught off guard in my dreams. There are women working everywhere! To bale hay! By hand! (Apparently my "family" has an automatic hay baler? X3) In my dream, I know the date, and I hear one of them say, "You know, guys, we're making good progress if we have all year." I look around to see what looks like a good 30-40 square feet cleared of hay. I watch as they split the hay down the middle of the stalk and carry it to bees. ((I have no idea either. I guess in my dreams this is how you bale hay. x__x)) Then a girl approaches me. She says, "Would you like to help?" I nod, though unsure of myself. "Sure." Then she takes me by the hand and guides me to a clump of unharvested hay. She says, "Do as I do." She takes a stalk in her hand, splits it down the middle, and I do the same, though, granted, a bit slower. Then nods and smiles. She leads me to a group of trees, where she scrounges the undergrowth with her eyes, looking for signs of whatever she's looking for. Finally, she says, "There's one!" As I watch, she holds out the hay out on her hands towards a bee, and it lands and pollinates it. She slips the split hay back up, and places it in a pile. I try to find a bee, but find nothing. My eyebrows knit together in confusion. I still search for one, when, suddenly, one pops up in front of me. Slowly I reach out my hands, hay laying flat on them, and the bee lands on them. I look at the girl, and she smiles encouragement. The bee flies away, and I mimic her sliding motion with the hands, sealing the hay back together. I lay the strand of hay on the pile she created. She smiles. "Very good!" she praises. Then we go back to the edge of the field. I watch as she pulls and lifts a huge armful of strands. She gestures with her head for me to do the same. I do, and she guides me to a platform about ten feet away. It stretches for another ten feet, curving like a parenthesis [ ( or ) ] and stops. Then, I turn my gaze back to the girl. Again, my eyes are fixed on her. As soon as she knows I'm paying attention, she raises the hay over her head, and it rips open in the middle, the space between each individual strand more than tripling. She lays it on the platform, and before I know what's going on, a swarm of bees rushes into it. She waits a moment, then lets go, leaving the bees to whatever they needed to do. She turns her back and walks away. I am uncertain, but deliberately, I copy her actions, and the bees rush into my hay as well. However, my mouth is just the slightest bit open, and they swarm into my mouth also. I feel them buzzing, vibrating against my lips and making me feel as if I had cotton in my mouth. I dislike the feeling, but I don't dare move my mouth. Somehow I manage to get the message across to the girl that I have to go, and that I'd come back again tomorrow. Then, I run towards the break in the trees, and the dream ends with me awakening, afraid to move my mouth.
Non-Lucid Dream
January 3/4, 2009 - NLD, NLD
I recall two dreams, again. It's getting regular for me to remember two now.
In one dream I convinced my mother while at the vet to adopt two new members of the family. A loyal companion, and a lazy cuddle partner. A beagle and a kitten. It was odd, because the kitten's tail apparently froze and fell off, when I picked it up and asked the vet, "Is it possible to reattach it after it's frozen?" (Yeah, a weird dream, I know.) She said yes, and while my mother and I were waiting patiently in the waiting room for the short surgery to be completed, I became aware of my brother nearby. I ignored him, because he was unimportant in this dream, and he didn't really do anything interesting. Finally the surgery was over, and we bought the animals. Then, oddly, we hopped a big yellow school bus, which was the worst part of the dream. It was a very strange dream.
Everyone in the left side of the bus (and it was packed full) was obscenely obese. There was only one seat left on the right, too. Some of the people on the right were chubby, but not obese, not as much as the others. I could feel the bus creaking with each step we took towards the back, with as much fat crammed into the cracks and crevices of each seat that the bus could handle. Then I reached our seat, slid in, and saw my mom and brother take another seat, leaving me with the beagle. The bus started to move, and suddenly, it started to tip towards, surprisingly and illogically, my side. I saw the ground rushing towards me, and reached desperately for the dog with one hand and seat with the other. To my horror, the dog disappeared from sight, and suddenly I was falling out the window [as the bus was still tipping]. Then the bus was completely turned over, and I was scraping across the pavement. It was incredibly painful. However, I remember thinking, "Now I'll be on Destroyed in Seconds," and I think that's kind of funny now. X3 But anyways, yeah, my mom walks up to me, a look that says she's scared to death for my life on her face, and she says, "Are you okay?!" She looked me up and down, and she said, "Okay, you're fine." I start to get to my feet, and I groan, "But it huuuurts," and I feel a sharp pain in my ribs. Then the dream goes bye-bye. XD
Non-Lucid Dream
All I can think is, "World of Warcraft." It's strange, to say the least. I'm a night elf warrior, which I know my big brother is. So I guess I'm his character. So in this dream, I'm sitting around bored, when suddenly someone yells a battle cry. I get up, grab my things, and rush to my room. I look frantically through my drawers, and what my mind summons up is so not for this situation that I have to laugh about it now. It is a lacy shirt. I pull it over my head (thinking WTF) and then I'm ready to go. I race to where the battle is taking place, which turns out to be a staircase. The stone guardian, which is huge, is waiting at the top along with a few other warriors. The horde is stepping up one at a time to be slaughtered. It's slow progress. Finally sick of it, I grab the rail and slide down, beheading random people as I go. When I reach the bottom, I fall into a crowd of blood elves, and I leap up to grab the banister of the staircase. I barely reach it, with the crowd grasping at my feet, and as I do begin to pull myself upward, I can hear the voice of a girl and the stone giant. "We have someone ready for the transformation," says the stone guardian. "But you will return to normal!" protests the girl. Then, I feel the ground shrinking beneath me, my skin turning to rock, and I realize that I am growing and turning into the guardian. A legend. Of course, I squash the blood elves beneath my boat-sized feet, and to the last remaining blood elf warriors (two) I say, "Tell your queen that no man survives, and, of course, what has passed this day." They nod dumbly, and turn, run out a random door. Then the dream ends.
