      Rimor Somnium Universitas

Hello everybody! For those of you who don't know (i.e. everybody ), my name is Evin Doyle, and I come from Cork, in Ireland. I discovered Lucid Dreaming around September last year, and kind of forgot about it for a while. Then I found my Dream Journal, and started recording my dreams again. My main goal is to perfect WILDing without WBTB. So, I'm gonna post up all the dreams in there, and any people's analysis on what my Dream signs might be would be GREATLY appreciated . Thanks, and hope you enjoy!

P.S. Rimor Somnium Universitas is a crude Latin translation of Exploring the Dream World.

P.P.S. Dreams are in red, notes are in purple, and Lucid Dreams are in green. Any other experiences of the sort (OBEs, etc.) are in blue.

      Étude for the Gamerdude 26/9/08

This was a dream I had during my first burst of Lucid Obsession. It was also the first dream I could recall having for years. It was unfortunately the only dream during this stage that I recorded in my Dream Journal. Anyway, It was shown all through third person view. The dream itself had a sort of DMC4/Splinter Cell feel to it, hence the name. Enjoy!

I was sneaking from one shadowy alcove to another, under a bright, moonlit sky. I spotted a gate into a massive fortress, and started towards it, using the shrubbery as cover whenever a twig snapped underfoot. After what seemed like an eternity, I made it to the gate, the portcullis of which was curiously open. Taking once again to the shadows, I started through the castle, dodging fireballs which seemed spawned from emptiness. Eventually, without once seeing another human, I made it to a spot which looked like the outside of an elevator, and a menu screen obscured my vision, giving me the option to save my dream "game". I did this and the scene changed.
No longer was I in game mode. Instead, I was at home researching some sort of mystical item on my laptop, I think it was a magical boot, and all of a sudden, I reverted back to the "game", in a different location. I found myself wandering through Post-Apoctalyptia personified, a desolate wasteland, filled with the remains of broken robots. Without warning, an unexplainable monster bit my head clean off. Somehow, it seemed as though I was wearing the boot, and I think it was that which regenerated my body. I was teleported to a scene where I was talking to my friends about a girl I had had a crush on in Irish College.
-Imagine Summer Camp meets Boarding school, except all in Irish- Once again, I was taken into a different setting without warning, where I was picking broken glass out of my forearm.
Luckily, this painful scene lasted little more than seconds, before the scene reverted to my class, 2A1, in which for some reason, a kid we all think is real rich and posh (So true, but he is sound out) was telling us that he had a butler, despite the fact that in reality he is always trying to convince us that he is not rich.

Sorry if some of the story is written in attempted fancy language, I kind of want to be a writer when I am older. Anyway tomorrow I'll start posting about the dreams I've had in '09. Also, please tell me what you think of the first installment.

      Wild 18/01/09 & 20/01/09

The next two nights during which I recorded my dreams were the 18/01/09, and the 20/01/09, which are a prime example of a phenomenon I have noticed which is that whenever I try to WILD and fall asleep, I have really vivid dreams that night. Also, unfortunately, they are a testament to me saying, "Ahh, well, I'll remember these dreams, and I'll record them when I feel like getting up." You'll notice that they are very abstract, a lot of details about them have been forgotten.

      Classroom Holidays 18/01/09

I remember very little of this dream. All I can recall is two different scenes.

The first one felt a bit like one of my holidays to Spain.
I can remember that it was in an impossibly designed building, in which from my room I could see both the lobby and the outside which had some weird arches in some big plaza through these translucent red curtains in my bedroom.

The second one took place in the classroom.
All I can remember about this point was that a kid in my class called Edward Roach was beating everyone in the class at some sort of competition. I think it was something like shouldering each other. Anyway, I came in and started destroying him (metaphorically, of course) at whatever it was.

Sorry if this dream wasn't up to standard with the first one. Please feel free to comment.
Also, I think one of my dream signs might be people in my class.

      Defiant President David 20/01/09

This was the most vague dream I had up until the 26th. Fortunately, they improve after this one. Anyway, this dream had 3 different scenes...

The first dream, all I can remember is talking with a person in my class called David Purcell.

The second, which was very slightly more detailed, was about the movie I have seen, "Defiance", with Daniel Craig. It was quite short, with just a trailer playing through my head , made from in my opinion, the best parts of the movie. It wasn't a trailer that was actually on TV though, Just my creation, which was fairly cool. Also, it went under a different name, "When Deserts Move", which was in relation to a fact that my Geography teacher told us that the Sahara desert moves up and down every year.

I thought it was interesting, and I think my dream reflected that.

Finally, there was also something about the first 30 presidents of the USA. That's all I can remember.

I know these are very vague, so I apologise. Also, this is another example of the laziness which can wreck dream recall. Don't make my mistake, take down your dreams when you wake up! And don't worry, the next entry is quite long and , "cough" interesting!

      Operation: Andorra Tomorrow 23/01/09

This was the best recall I've had in a dream for a long time, and by far the best since I got into Lucid Dreaming. It was very influenced by real events, some of which I have listed on the bottom of the page. Where unspecified, the dream took place in first person view.

I found myself on the crystalline white slopes of Andorra, looking out over the magnificent Pyrenees. I skied away from my family, and after a while, I was startled to notice that I had no idea where I was going. I was lost. Out of the blue, the dream switched to bird's eye view, and I was looking down on a partially constructed village, with both Medieval and Futuristic themes. I didn't know why, but I was certain that the village was mine. After a while, I was transported to another village, similar but not identical, which, (I'm a bit sketchy on details at this point) I somehow captured. There were plutonium reactors in the village, which I adjusted somehow so that they shot massive plumes of steam into the air. The view temporarily switched to third person view, and I followed a group of people who had appeared out of nowhere. When we passed over a ridge of snow, I looked down to see my village. Sometime around this point I lost control of my skis, and careened down an extremely long, steep slope. Once again, I was lost. With no method of getting back up to the village save taking off the skis and hiking up the slope in highly uncomfortable boots, I started to get annoyed, to say the least. However, I heard my father calling me, and turned around to my family waiting in an old-western style village, at the base of the mount. We went back to our room, and then the setting flashed to the next day. For some unfathomable reason, we went up on the piste without skis, just the boots, which were NOT made for walking.
After walking for a while, I was transported inside, to a room which mimicked my friend's living room, except there was less light there. I was playing Assassin's Creed, until a man came in to pass on a message from my parents: It's time to go. He asked that I take out Assassin's Creed and put in some other game, which seemed to revolve solely around the Flash, from the Justice League.

At this point, my mother called to wake me up. Aargh, sometimes parents can be a pain.

      Influences from Real Life

      1. I visited Andorra over Christmas, gorgeous place. Some of this dream mimicked real life. For example, going up without skis, this I think reflected the last day of the holiday, when my dad went up on the slopes. The rest of us stayed behind, but we had already returned the skis, so my dad had to rent them out again, with a lot of confusion following.

      2. The bird's eye view, and the whole episode with the villages was a combination of Red Alert 2, and Tribal wars. My mind is a strange thing.

      3. The Flash thing, I couldn't make out, because I never watch the Justice League.

      4. As for Assassin's Creed, I had a brief obsession with that game, finished it in a few days.

All in all, It's quite strange, because I don't play that many games, but they seem to frequent my dreams. Maybe they're a dreamsign, I don't know.

Question: I'm really starting to think that people in my class are a dreamsign. However, how can I associate reality checks with people in my class if I see them for 7 hours a day? I think I might do one every time the bell rings at the end of class, but the bell has never actually been included in my dreams, any ideas?

P.S. I'm nearly up to date on my Dream Journal.

      What shape is a Manwich? 26/01/09 & 02/02/09

The first dream, on 26/01/09, was quite simply the most vague dream I've ever had.

All I can remember is from Futurama, when they go fishing in the Atlantic ocean, Bender uses Hermes's meal for bait and Hermes calls out "My manwich!"

The next one wasn't much better. It had two scenes, both in my school.

The first scene was during French, and our teacher was giving us the French for certain muscles.

The second was during Latin class. This one, I can remember, was really realistic. The Latin teacher was off on a rant about some sort of weird shape, but when he was asked questions about it, he got angry and shouted that he wasn't a Maths teacher.

So, that's it for now, because my DJ is up to date!!!

I'm now going to start attempting arby's technique for VILDing. I'll post the results soon!

      Red face The Fear 07/02/09

Had this dream this morning. Attempted to VILD last night, but was far too tired and fell asleep. Woke up in the morning, stayed still and fell asleep again. No lucid, but a couple of fairly vivid dreams. This is the only one I remembered long enough to take down.

Was dropped back to my house by someone, think it was my brother. His car drove off, (odd, as my brother doesn't have a car) and I turned around to see another car with headlights blaring a few hundred feet in front of me. When I walked towards my house, I started to accelerate towards me. I ran down the drive and hastily opened the door. I called the cops, but I think there was no answer. I heard the car come down the driveway and sprinted up the stairs, looking for somewhere to hide. I looked in the bathroom which had it's lights turned on and saw my friend Ian brushing his teeth. I screamed at him to hide, and the the door started to open. I ran, with no time to get a good hiding place, into cover on the landing. The door opened, and two of my brother's friends came in and explained that they were just returning the TV remote.

Anyways, happy to report I'm starting to get better dream recall again!
So drop by, and comment, comment, comment!

Talking Extra! Extra! Madman attempts Pyrokinesis! Endangers hundreds of Miniatures! 07/02/09

This morning, I attempted an experiment to find out how long I could recall my dreams for without recording them...
OK! So I just didn't want to get out of bed to write them down, sue me!
Anyway, surprisingly, I could recall a good deal about them when I had to get up to go to mass. So, I think the most important thing about recall is just to keep thinking about it. Don't concentrate hard or anything, just keep the dreams in your head.
This was a collection of 4 dreams which were all interconnected.

      Method=Attempted VILD, fell asleep.

I was walking down a lane when I saw a collection of three cars which seemed to include a Maybach Exelero, an $8,000,000 car. I walked past it, and then decided it was strange, so I went back for another look. At first glance, it seemed to have disappeared, but after a closer look I discovered that it had been moved behind three other cars, and was cleverly hidden. It was like a Maybach, as in the front was nearly identical, but it was quite shabby, and had more a saloon body-style.

The next scene took place in a derelict house, where my friend James Palmer-Sheehan was for some reason trying to poison several cartons of orange juice with an easy-spray aerosol full of WD40 (lubrication oil). I attempted to stop him and for the most part succeeded, however he managed to contaminate one of them. The setting skipped away to the next day, where the headline on the local papers was in someway connected to this incident. It turns out, the house had been burned down in the past. Weird huh?

The next, and last detailed scene I can remember was looking down on a miniature neighborhood. This neighborhood was made up of several shabby houses... One of which was the burnt-out shell that I had been in just before. Also there were miniature versions of the cars I had seen.

This other scene, I am not sure when it happened in relation to the others, but I was attempting to light a candle without touching it. I tried to visualize it as millions of pinpricks of light which I excited and set spinning rapidly, igniting the wick.

The last scene with regards to Pyrokinesis, it is a subject I started researching last night. I'm not quite sure I believe it, but I try to keep an open mind.

      Smile Go VILD! 08/02/09

Trying to perfect this technique. Getting further. Last night was my closest brush with the dreamworld. Didn't remember any dreams. I will write up a scenario tomorrow.

      Youch, sorry.

Sorry for being gone so long. I went on holiday to Kerry with my family, then the Internet was screwed up. Unfortunately, I have also been going through a dry spell, but I think it's blown over. I've had 5 detailed dreams since the last entry, and I will write them all up tomorrow.
Also, I should have noted that my school is having a serious impact on my dreams. I suppose it would, being there for seven hours a day!
Before I get back into the detailed dreams, an interesting note. I had a dream about something called Thyroxine, which I had never heard of before. Asking my mother about it revealed that it is a hormone secreted by the Thyroid. So how about that, huh?

      Smile I'm sorry for Smilies

Before I get to the business of dreams, I would just like to say that I am sorry if the amount of smilies I have used hurts the readers' eyes.

      School Walks 12/02/09

I don't remember too much about this dream. (I know, sing a new song, blah, blah, blah.) It was extremely realistic and vivid, like HDTV compared to a normal TV. It also had two people from my school in it, not the usual one.

A massive, glass-dome-covered series of highways stretched ad infinitum onto the horizon, over extremely green fields. As far as you could see, in all directions, but the odd thing was the complete lack of cars. Not one could be seen. Instead, there was thousands upon millions of uniformed schoolchildren my age, 13-16 years old. I walked over to one of the girls and asked her what was going on but all she could say was "I dunno! It's weird, isn't it?" After wandering aimlessly for a while, I saw my friend Zach, and asked him. He seemed to have even less of an idea. Looking over the edge, I saw another friend, Pa, who was standing on a lawn surrounded by a group of people. I shouted something down at him, and he responded by throwing his shoe back up at me. I started laughing, and so began a bit o' banter. (Bit o' Banter=Just a bit of fun, joking, laughing around, etc)Then the world took the viewpoint of a Gameboy screen, and there was a dance with Legend of Zelda-like graphics.

That was a lot better playing out in my head.

      Tome, Phone, Alone... Groan. 15/02/09

I'm not sure if this was one dream or two, as it had two quite independent settings, but I think it was one as they seemed to blend seamlessly into each other.

I was browsing through a bookshop which was very similar to the Vibes and Scribes on Patrick's Hill. Patrick's Hill is in Cork. However, there were a number of strange differences.
      1. There was a huge collection of heavy, leather-bound Tomes, which stood on stone pedestals dotted around the shop. My friend Zach
-see School Walks 13/02/09-walked over and asked me if I knew where a certain series of four books was. I led him downstairs, which was different from the real V&S downstairs, but oddly familiar, as if I'd had a dream based here before. I pointed out the books, and the scene changed.
Now I was in a dark, wet dungeon, searching deep pools of water for used phones
-I know, WTF?!-, as I had been told by my CSPE (Civic, Social, and Political Education) teacher that if I collected enough, he would swap me them for a Samsung Omnia, my dream phone. I remember splashing down into a particularly deep "puddle", and the Teacher called down, "Did you find many yet?"

Looking back, the second scene was kind of weird, and neither had anywhere near the level of clearness as my last entry.
Well, I've got a dream backlog, so I'll start on them tomorrow, but I probably won't be able to post much, I'm going to see Watchmen.

      Thriller Campbell 17/02/09

Ah Piss. I've realized that I (with a few exceptions) only remember dreams at weekends, as I am not forced to get up, I awake naturally from sleep. I won't give up, though. I think I'll make it one of my goals to remember a dream on a weekday. Anyway...

The scene takes place in a morgue. Michael Jackson is standing over an operating table holding a butcher's knife, and is using the knife to open red wounds on limp, pale corpses. I know, without reason for knowing, that he is a serial killer.
The next scene follows on from the first. Jackson is making his getaway in a stolen red banger. The police and I are following at breakneck pace in an equally shit white van. One of the cops holds up what looks to be Jackson's business card. They open up a laptop and run a websearch on the url provided on the card. On the front of the page is the picture of a man the spitting image of Michael Jackson, but with several small differences, none of which I can remember. However, it was not Michael Jackson, but someone named Campbell.

I don't think much happened after this, but if anything did, I did not remember it to write it down.

      Showdown on Falcon Hill! 01/3/09

I was with my friend Ian in his park atop Falcon Hill. As we were kicking a ball around, a red banger (a dreamsign, possibly?) drove up and six or seven "thugs" came up to us looking for a fight. Ian was getting freaked out, but for some reason I was not afraid. I walked up to them and two or three of them revealed themselves to be on our side. The others fled to avoid a confrontation.

      Party "Shots" at Auschwitz-Birkenau 02/02/09

I really think I might have some lingering feelings for Jenny, the girl I mentioned in my first entry, as she has manifested herself in two dreams of mine since, in increasingly important roles. This was the first such occasion. Like many of my dreams, it had two interconnected scenes. It was another one of those dreams like School Walks, which seemed incredibly real and lifelike.

Also, final note: We are reading the Boy in the Striped Pyjamas in school at the moment, which provided the inspiration for a lot of this dream.

I was at a dinner party with my friends Raymond-He was from my old school-, Ian, and Daire o'Brien, another friend. The latter two were sitting over on one couch and I just started wandering around, where I noticed Jenny getting some punch from across a table, and Raymond was over my shoulder, telling me something to the effect "Just walk away, Evin, it's over."-Odd, seeing as how we never we really had a relationship-I sighed, but agreed with him, and after glancing at the phenomenally beautiful house which was the setting of the party, we returned to the other two, where Ian said, "Hows it going, boss?!" The four of us just started talking and then the scene changed.
In the next scene, we were sneaking into the house from another angle, behind a high wall, and from here we could also see a compound through a chain-link fence. One of my friends with me voiced the thoughts that for some reason we had all been thinking of, "This is Auschwitz!". Thoroughly freaked at this point, we started creeping very carefully next to the wall, before quietly scaling the wall. However, we were not quiet enough, and when I reached the other side, a German shouted out, "Intruders!", and I was shot. Using that whole, Xbox menu to alter the dream, as I had done in
Étude for the Gamerdude 26/9/08, I "loaded" a "game", five seconds before I had been shot, and tried again. After a couple of tries, I finally got it. We all made it to the other side of the wall. However, we were then seen, but the man did not call out. He said something like "Have you come to liberate this awful place? Oh please god tell me you have!". He led us through the house, and we eventually reached a blue room with paintings of clouds, and then I woke up.

Other things associated with the dream were faint recollections of spraying on deodorant and aftershave, probably in preparation for the party, and the scene of inline skating inside an eerily quiet yet echoing tunnel, which has also featured in dreams I had before I started keeping a Dream Journal.

So what do you think of the latest entry?

07/3/09 I'm all out of catchy names for my dreams

This dream was quite unclear, but that is not the main contributor to my lack of proper recall on this occasion, I will explain what was at the end.

The first part of this dream was taken up by a number of fights down in our disused garage. This was the most vague part of the dream.
The next was a chase. I was running full pelt away from a man wearing a gasmask. I had won a number of gas emitters from the people down in the garage, which I turned on as I streaked up the stairs and down the hall. I managed to get into my room just as the man turned the corner of the hall. He stopped for a moment when he caught the smell of gas. Taking this moment, I tightly grasped a broken, rusty iron bar in my hand, and leaped out from behind the bedroom door. Catching him by surprise, I stabbed him into the windpipe, before pulling out the bar and stabbing again.

As for the reason it is so vague, I had an experience similar to an FA, in which I got up out of bed and recorded the dream in full. Because of this, I saw no need to take it down!!! How could my subconscious trick me into thinking I had already gotten up when I was clearly still in bed! Come to think of it, it has happened to me before for things like getting up for school. I remember my dad calling me to get up for the sixth time or something, but I kept on screaming back at him, convinced I was already up!

      14/3/09 Irish College Romance

Another dream involving Irish College. Another dream involving Jenny. Another dream with that "HD" visualization. Another f***ing dream...

I found myself in the gravel courtyard of Colaiste Ide, surrounded by hundreds of fellow boarders. As I began to talk with my friends, an order rang out from the supervisors, telling us to shut up. We were divided into seven or eight lines, and then the scene shifted.
I was at the nighttime Ceili (Irish dancing session). I was with my friends and then I began to look at the people all around me. I noticed Jenny with a group of her friends, and taking a deep breath, I walked over to her and asked her to dance. Her friends began wolf-whistling, but after an initial hesitation on her part, she smiled, we walked to the centre of the hall with the others and began to dance. I remember her laughing as I twirled her around...
The next day, I was out walking with Jenny, in a beautiful green garden. We were talking and laughing, and then we turned a bend and who did we see, but Vin Diesel? .
He took us out in a boat and we took a fantastic trip around a beautiful collection of islands and perfect beaches. We walked back through the garden after hopping from a ledge through a waterfall of mud. Although we were filthy, we never stopped laughing...
The next day, we took the same walk, except, this time, there was no Vin Diesel standing over our shoulders. After passing the mudfall, we got to the edge of the sea. We found a bathtub, and pushed it out to sea before jumping in together. We kissed for a while as we bobbed on the waves. After getting bored, we floated back, and returned to the land.

There were other bits and pieces, but nothing important.

If God had said to me, anytime at all in that dream if I wanted to stay in the moment, I would have said yes without skipping a heartbeat. I felt so happy there...

      With her.

      17/3/09 A Paddy's Day Molotov

This dream took it's influences from two main sources, The Wire, (The Crime Drama that is shown on HBO, we got the first season for Christmas and are obsessed with it), and Splinter Cell, again.

In the first scene, (The majority of which I have unfortunately forgotten), I was arguing with my brother in a typical white van, about whether or not I had a certain weapon. He had a picture of a large arsenal of weapons, and was ticking off the ones I did or did not have. The scene switched, and...
I saw through the eyes of Jimmy McNulty, having just had an argument with his wife. She rose from her chair and the view switched to Splinter Cell-style 3rd person. I was walking behind her, trying to spray her with deodorant which I was trying simultaneously trying to set alight. We never ran, just walked slowly, neither of us in a hurry. As I followed her, we passed through a metal detector and an alarm went off, but no security guards appeared.
We passed through the automatic-glass main doors. The focus of the dream switched from McNulty's wife to my friend Eva from primary school, and a friend she was walking with. For some reason, the three of us started experimenting with petrol bombs, none of which worked very well except for the last one, a large, glass flagon.

21/3/09 Driving Home to 3900 Town

A backlog dream. It wasn't special,or long, or anything. I immediately lost most of my recall upon waking.

I was down in County Kerry with my family. We were out taking two dogs for a walk. One was medium sized, the other was tiny. We went into a playground-like place which I remember from Spain. The two dogs were trying to go underneath a low fence, but only the tiny one could make it.
Then the family set off home in the car. We passed through a town, where 3900 was written EVERYWHERE. We got out, and took the dogs with us, and then the dream ended.

      28/3/09 Mountain Escape

My first Lucid experience since joining this site!
Before going to sleep, I drank a glass of cloudy apple juice, and a cup of tea. I attempted a WILD, but fell asleep. Unfortunately, like "Driving Home to 3900 Town", I lost more than half of the dream when I woke up. I also talked about the Lucid Problem I had in this dream more in Static Degeneration. Although it may not come across in the writing, It was the most epic, longest dream I've ever had. It was another with that sort of HD visualization.

The Dream began with a narration, explaining the "Background" of the Dream. Somehow, I had become lost in a mountain range, but had discovered a civilization with a massive coliseum on the side of one of the mountains. After wandering around for a while, I had had a confrontation with the King of the civilization. At a house where I was staying, I was having a big argument with one of the teachers in my school (JBM), over something I can't remember.
I went into the pantry, where I opened the press and took out some dessert. I walked back into the kitchen, where the teacher immediately started shouting about how it was his food, it wasn't mine, etc.
I took an apple, and bit into it, causing one of my brace brackets to break off. This had happened in my dreams before, and I did an RC, causing me to become Lucid.
No sooner than I became Lucid, my dream lost all its clarity, and it was similar to watching a TV with no reception. I quickly lost Lucidity.I was in the hall of the King, and he walked out into the courtyard. There I saw a massive, blue, Chinese dragon. A long fight followed.
This is where my memory is the most vague. I remember I had two other people with me who got destroyed by the Dragon.
After this, I was being chased away from the Palace, with a sort of Assassin's Creed-like camera view. I sprinted down the mountain, before turning into a building with a sliding glass door on the side of the mountain.
Inside, it was more or less the same, with a wide mountain track looping around the mountainside. For some strange reason, I joined in a soccer match with kids from my school on one side, and the King's bodyguards on the other, which was played on this dirt track. I set up two goals, which were both finished by a person I don't know by name.
After this, I walked into a sort of futuristic hall, where I saw the King again. I told him the score. he more or less tried to apologize, but I cut him off, told him to go f*** himself, and walked away.

      14/11/09 A Love Lost

The first dream I've remembered in a long time. I've been gone too long...

I was in America on holiday with my family. I was sitting down with my brother in what looked like a sports hall. I looked around, and there was a large amount of people there, a bit like a really tame youth disco. Anyway, one girl was sitting in the corner: To my eyes, the most beautiful girl in the room, so I got up, did a running slide over to her, held out my hand, and asked her to dance. She looked at me for a second, and then we danced for hours on end. When the event was over, we walked out together, and we went back to her family's house. Up to there, the dream was relatively normal.
Basically, in a few hours, we fell in love. I don't know if I've ever felt stronger emotion in a dream.
There was a weird section of the dream where I helped her to carry up a TV to her house.
Then came a scene where fighter helicopters came in and bombed the area around us. My mother came up to me and told me we had to leave. I told her I wasn't leaving the girl. Just then the girl asked me where we had to go, and I told her I was actually from Ireland and that I had to go back. The pain in her eyes was immense, and she told me to get away from her and leave her alone. I called after her but she just ran away crying.
We then had to leave. I was heartbroken: We had never even kissed. Back home, I decided then we had to go back. I got a plane back on my own, went to her house, and asked her mother where she was. She told me she was gone to the local Wal-Mart to pick up supplies. It was on a hill. I ran there, for some reason, I felt a sense of urgency.
Then came the most devastating moment of my dream life: as the store came into view, it was consumed in a massive explosion. I fell to my knees with tears streaming down my cheeks: my love had been killed. I later found out that it was a gas explosion which the police were treating as suspicious.

So that's it. Tonight, I'm going to find who's responsible, and kill them. Also, I'm going to try to go Lucid, recreate the scene, reverse time, and save her. It's going to be the most magnificent dream rescue of all time.
