      WolfeDreamer531's Cell

Alright, welcome to my Cell. I already have a DJ on here but it wasn't set up as good and I wasn't making entries every day. So I decided to start a new one for 2009. I will list any sleep aids and the dose I took that night because I usually can't sleep without them and some sleep aids (Melatonin, 5-HTP, Valerian, etc.) are known for having effects on dreams. Everyone is welcome to comment and/or share their opinion on my dreams.

I also happen to be in the middle of a psychology assignment in which I have to record a sleep log for five nights; I have to record the time I went to bed, the time(s) I woke up, the number of times I woke up throughout the night, my sleep quality (from 1 to 10), the number of dreams I recall, and whether the dreams were in black/white or in color. So, I thought I might as well share my results with DV.

I'm going to keep it simple:
      Awake is in BLACK
      Non-lucid dreams are in GRAY
      Lucid dreams are in BLUE

Good dreams have *'s around them

Lucid: I am aware of standing on a grassy hill between two houses in a warm, sunny dream scene. The Sun appeared to be setting but was still bright. I immediately ran to the end of the hill and took off flying. I soared through the air for the duration of the dream. I eventually touched down to the grass at the bottom of the hill. I decided to observe my surroundings in the dream, specifically the grass. The dream began to fade almost instantly after I did this.

      Substance taken:
      • 5-HTP - 100 mgs w/ Valerian 50 mgs
      • Melatonin - 5 mgs
      • Chantix - 0.5 mgs
      • Vitamin B6 - 105 mgs (5 mgs from 5-HTP)
      • Vitamin B12 - 1000 mgs

Lucid: I was standing in a hangar area talking to a friend. I realized I was dreaming. I told him that I was going to fly an F-22 Raptor, he found that funny. I imagined a Raptor being behind me and sure enough it was there. I ran to it and jumped in the cockpit. I pulled the throttle forward and it began to move. I began to pick up speed so I pulled the throttle back and I took off. I wasn't flying like I wanted to, or in other words, I was having trouble making it do what I wanted. So I jumped out and began flying without it. Much better. I flew straight and then upwards towards a building. I crashed through it and discovered that it was a mall.
I decided that I wanted to be a Kryptonian (too much Smallville). So, as I flew through the shopping area, I tried to shoot heat from my hands forgetting, for the moment, that kryptonians shoot heat from their eyes. It didn't work so I attempted to shoot it from my eyes towards a man that I had made a shoplifter. I burned his hands and he dropped what he was stealing. I turned two other DCs into would-be thieves as well. They tried to run after I burned the first DC's hands. I let them get a little distance before I tested my super speed. I had never done this before, so just like my first time flying, I went ran a lot faster than I had anticipated. I got to them in a millisecond, it was more like I had teleported. This started me and I woke up.

Non-lucid: I recall my friend and I finding a "treasure chest" of drugs. He grabbed a big pill/capsule that was he said was called "3C" and cracked it open. As soon as he did this, white fumes began to rise from it. He told me to inhale the fumes; he said that "3C" was a psychedelic, stimulant, and sedative. I began to inhale slowly at first, and then deeply. I woke up when I did this.

      • 5-HTP 1000 mgs, with Valerian 50 mgs

      Sleep log:
      1. Time went to sleep: Midnight
      2. Time(s) awake: 5:45 am, 7:15 am, 9:40 am
      3. Number of times awake: 3
      4. Sleep quality: 7

Lucid (WILD): I wake up at 5:45 to do a WILD. After laying for an hour or so and tipping my toe into sleep a couple of times, I finally got it after remaining still. I found myself floating towards the front door (from the inside) of an apartment that I lived in about 6 years ago. I attempted to float through the door and put my hands up to move through it. I inadvertently shut it completely instead. At the same time of doing this, a hand firmly grabbed a hold of my ankle from behind and wouldn't let go. It pulled me back into the apartment. I couldn't see the face that the hand belonged to because it was around the corner. I grabbed the hand that was holding me and began rubbing it for some reason. It was soft and became benevolent. I woke up before I could see the face of the owner of the hand.

Lucid (WILD): I found myself in the downstairs room (soon-to-be my room IRL) of my house. I decided that I wanted to summon someone. A girl in particular. I walked to the bathroom and imagined that she would be there by the time I got back. I walked back and lo and behold, she was there. I willed her to take off her shirt. She complied. We proceeded to a little foreplay before I woke up.

Lucid: I found myself in a little shed-like house. I walked over to the window to see that there was a lot going on outside. I decided to just there and watch it all as if my dream was a movie. I saw an almost endless amount of men of Mexican descent working in a field/forest in front of me. I don't remember whether this was implied or I was told, but I some how knew that these men were slaves. I looked to the right to see kids playing baseball in a little baseball field. This was very interesting to watch. A kid hit the ball and everybody cheered for him. They appeared to be having the time of their life. This reminded me of when I used to play baseball when I was little. I then noticed a school being let out to my left. There were schools of DCs all over the place. Overall, there was probably more than a hundred DCs in all in this dream.

*Lucid: I am walking through a tunnel with someone. I don't know who it is because they are behind me following. When we reach the end of the tunnel, I notice that its night and that there's a downtown city in front of us across a body of water. I decide to fly there. The DC follows. We fly at low speeds and altitudes for a while before I decided that I wanted to fly faster and higher. I began controlling the velocity of my speed by moving my arms closer to my side. The DC couldn't keep up so he faded from the dream. Being able to control the velocity of my flight was very exhilarating in itself. I noticed two planes above. I began to fly upwards towards one of the planes. When I flew above the plane, I decided to stop, turn around and do the same thing downwards. I noticed that the plane was now a mini "sky-station", if you will (I should have explored this sky-station now that I think about it). But before I was able to fly back down, something else happened. Something amazing. Something or somebody asked me if I wanted to watch a replay of what I just did. Now that it was brought to my attention, I did want to watch a replay of what I had just done... and then I did watch a replay! I watched myself, from where I was at in the sky (in third person), flying low and slow before accelerating and rising up to where I was at! This was INCREDIBLE! I watched this twice before waking up. This was really cool and suggest that everybody try this at least once. It doesn't even have to be a replay of yourself flying, it can be a replay of you doing anything. But either way, it will blow your mind.*

Non-lucid: I am in a diner with my dad and step-mom, V. A guy walks in, says he's armed and orders everyone to the floor. V gets a call and answers it. She's trying to tell that person that she can’t talk right now but she hangs up instead because she said that she couldn't get a word in. The guy comes and snatches the phone from her hands. He is looking at the phone's features when I notice that both of his hands are occupied and that he isn't wielding his gun. I instantly rush him and tackle him on a table, holding both of his wrists so that he can’t get to his weapon. I scream for someone to grab his gun while I have his arms, but no one complies. I repeated myself many times over, but to no avail. I was all alone, fighting for my life. I continued to fight the guy until I put him in a headlock and noticed his two guns (in the form of razor cell phones (?)) tucked into his back waistband. I grab one of the gun/cell phones and kicked him in the chest while simultaneously opening fire at him by pressing the call button. I was enraged and pressed the trigger many times but only managed to fire one round. The single round hit him in his chest and he fell back. Dead.

The dream scene fades to my living room where I find myself in tears, overwhelmed by emotions. I was unimaginably angry at the fact that nobody helped me in the diner and forced me to take a man's life. V asked me what was wrong as if she didn't know what just happened (she probably didn't, poor DC). My dad told her to leave me alone. The dream ended.

Mint dreams. And your writing is so descriptive. That was a pretty intense nonlucid. Bloody unreliable DCs! Ya can't trust any of 'em! I can imagine how you felt. It's incredible how strong emotions can be in dreams. It's a shame that I wasn't in the diner coz I'd have used my newfound skills and fired electric bolts at him while you held him down!

Haha, yeah, I could've really used your help DQ; you could've also taught me how to use electricity and we could've worked on the force field together. But the only powers I've ever used in LDs (besides flying) were super speed and heat vision (like superman).

But yeah that dream was pretty vivid. I felt the adrenaline rushing in me and everything. I wonder if adrenaline was rushing through my body IRL while I was asleep. I guess it probably would've woken me up if it had.

Non-lucid: I recall being in a car stopped behind another car at night. Cops began flashing there lights. They're appearently after the guy(s) in the car in front of the car in front of me. I think he/they have warrants out for there arrest(s) for a serious crime. More cops began to pull up to the guy(s) (there are about 6 or 7 squad cars now). The cops get out with their guns drawn at the guy(s)'s vehicle. the guy(s) gets out of the passenger's side and runs towards the woods. Every cop opens fire. They even shoot through his abandoned car. I duck down under the steering wheel for cover from possible ricochet. I believe they hit him once in his lower body and he goes down. He puts his hands on his head and surrenders. I wake up.

Would've been awesome to suddenly get lucid and run through their bullets and catch the bad dude. Man you have such exciting dreams!

Yeah, it really would've been. But I'm not going to lie, I was pretty scared, I mean, they started shooting out of nowhere. But it seems like my non-lucids have been pretty violent these last two days...

Non-lucid: My dad and I are at a bowling alley. We are just finishing and about to leave when my dad decides to put five dollars in a machine for unknown reasons. The machine, however, didn’t give him what he wanted or his money back so he opened it up and took about three gold dollars from it. But we weren’t allowed to do that and the lady working behind the counter saw us. She told us that she saw what we did and demanded the money be returned. We then told her what happened but she said, very offensively, that that wasn’t her problem and that we weren’t going to leave with that money. So my dad left totally pissed off. I, who was also pissed, stayed however. It wasn’t so much the money that I was pissed about; it was her attitude and manner in which she treated us. I couldn’t let her get away with what she did. I ended up exploding on her saying any offensive thing that came to mind. Another employee came to try to assist her, but to not much avail. I even tried to entice this guy into starting a fight with me by, again, saying any and every offensive thing that came to mind. I cursed them both out many times over until I left. Now, IRL, I’m nowhere near like this. I’m actually a peaceful and timid guy who always looks to diffuse a tense situation. But I was definitely someone else in this dream.

      "Casino Royal Flush"

Non-lucid: I find myself playing “heads up” (one on one) Texas Holdem (a game I’m very good at IRL) at a casino. The stakes were six to nine toilet paper rolls, but somehow translated to be worth millions in the dream. I am dealt King/Jack of diamonds, a very good hand. The dealer then flops a 10, Queen, and Ace of diamonds to my amazement. I flopped a royal flush, the highest possible hand in poker. I checked on my turn pretending to have a weak hand also setting a trap for him (something I always do IRL). The trap was set, and I had a feeling he would bite. He raised me all in; he bit, and he bit hard. I called, of course and turned my cards to reveal the royal flush. Then the table went from texas holdem to backgammon (something I know nothing about) in a second, I only remember him telling me something about it. I think he challenged me in it in the hopes of winning his loss back. I was handed the dice. I woke up before I had the chance to roll.

5:45: I am awakened by the vibrations from the alarm on my cell phone under my pillow. I attempt to do a WILD. I'm unsuccessful.

Non-lucid: I am in the living room of my house with a girl. We are alone. She is half white and half asian and anywhere from the age of 14 to 16. She is very beautiful and promiscuous from what I was told. She was wearing a skirt with a white top. The dream scene faded into the downstairs room. The way she was acting gave me the impression that we had been drinking earlier; she was flirting a lot and talking about what we're going to do. She then came over to the bed, where I was at, and took her skirt off, revealing that she wasn't wearing any underwear; she also took off her shirt. I found that I was already naked. First, I attempted to "put it in" without looking or using my hands, but failed rather histerically. Then, we both made the necessary adjustments and then went to work. We alternated from me being on top, to her being on top to me being back on top.

False awakening #1: I find myself on the laptop after apparently dozing off. It seemed, that last dream I had was just a video that I watched on the laptop. I was pretty upset so I went to my room and thought it was a good idea to punch the wall. I hit the wall but I didn't hear or feel anything. So I decided to take another swing, I hit the wall, but again didn't feel anything (this should've been an instant cue that I was dreaming)

False awakening #2: I awake as soon as I hit the wall. I was relieved that it was all just a dream. It was the middle of the night. I left my room to get something to drink only to see my dad and step mom talking in the kitchen... on the floor. I decided to go back to my room.

False awakening #3: I awoke again (when's it going to end? lol). I grabbed my DJ and began writing the first dream, with the girl, down. I wrote a page and a half down before I decided that a revision needed to be made. So I put the pencil down and went to the bathroom. I attempted to urinate but nothing came out; it felt as if something was blocking it from coming out. I finally woke up.

I know what you mean about acting differently in dreams. Sometimes I'm almost too embarrassed to write my dreams here because I behave in ways I would never behave in RL. Like once I initiated a physical fight with someone who'd just burgled our house. There is no way I'd ever do that! It's ridiculously out of character. I'm a 50kg female and I have no strength whatsoever! Even my 8 year old nephew is stronger than me!

What a fantastic string of FAs! You really should get into the habit of RCing whenever you wake up!

      Loving your journal

Thanks DQ, I'm still waiting to read your next entry. But feel the same way you do towards a lot of my dreams. I don't want to post some of them because I'm afraid of people judging me based on a dream I had.

But I think the fact that I've been waking up early in the morning to WILD has something to do with the false awakenings.

I don't know why I never got into the habit of doing RCs, every lucid I've had, I just "knew I was dreaming, I can't explain how. Once I know I'm dreaming, I never feel its necessary to RC. But what RCs work for you? And about how long did it take until you started doing them in your dreams?

It could be a while until my next entry because I only record lucids on here and at the moment my sleep is badly out of whack due to some stressful stuff going on so I'm not even really trying to get lucid. Will start up again soon though! I only had four hours sleep last night so hopefully I'll get some REM rebound tonight

I'm like you in that sometimes I become lucid simply by recognizing the feeling of being in a dream and then I don't need to RC. However I do RCs during the day so that I can get lucid by DILD, which is my main way of becoming lucid now. Often I'll be in a nonlucid dream and I'll do a RC and I'll expect it to pass. I am usually completely astounded when it fails and I realise I'm dreaming. Without the RC I would never have become lucid. In fact, one time I did my nose pinch test and I could breathe and I just stood there wondering How come I can breathe when this is real life? Duh!

      EDIT:
Quote Originally Posted by WolfeDreamer531 View Post

I just realised that I got myself off on a tangent and didn't actually answer your questions!

The only RC that works for me is the nose pinch test. Looking at my hand is useless - it looks 100% normal. Trying to fly or put my hand through a wall is useless - the laws of physics apply as if it's RL. It's only once I know I'm dreaming they will bend!

I can't remember how long it took me to start doing RCs in my dreams. A few weeks maybe? Anyway, I generally become lucid 50% of the time from RCs and 50% from just recognizing the dream feel so it's definitely worth keeping up my RCs

Well, hopefully you get some nice vivid dreams in your REM rebound and become lucid. I think that a LD would relieve you of a lot of stress.

But that's just the thing about RCs. I don't know if they're all that reliable, b/c when you're in a dream, there may be somes rules in that reality that challenge all the rules of waking reality like flying in a dream and thinking its normal. But I suppose it couldn't hurt to start using RCs.

All I know is from my personal experience there have definitely been times when I've been dreaming and have become lucid from doing a purely habitual RC without which I wouldn't have stood a snowball's chance in hell of becoming lucid. Like in my "Beautiful Children" entry in my journal; When I saw my car parked in a strange way in that dream I didn't actually do the RC because I suspected I was dreaming, I did it believing it was RL and I should do one to reinforce my habit. This has happened to me quite a number of times.

However, unfortunately I don't do an RC every time something odd happens in a dream. It seems my logical brain is switched off more often than not unfortunately. I have missed some ridiculously obvious cues including antique tables falling from the sky during which my only thought was gosh this is dangerous, I'd better take cover! But for those few times I do the RCs, the daily RC rituals are definitely worth it! Although they take a lot of mental effort and dedication. I probably do between 20-40 RCs every day on average.

Getting lucid through DILD is actually my fav way to have an LD, especially when I think the RC is going to pass. The surprise of discovering I'm dreaming is always overwhelmingly cool!

Dont be too hard on yourself. Im pretty sure the logical part of our brain is always off while we sleep (except when we're lucid), so passing that talking monkey with wings next to you as normal is quite common. Besides I cant even begin to mention all the things that should have triggered awareness in me that I didn't look twice at. Like my last dream at the casino where I somehow thought that toilet paper rolls were worth millions.

But I guess I never really had the patience for RCs, that's why I always favored WILDs. But you've inspired me to do them. I guess it wouldn't hurt to do them while still practicing my WILDs everyday. But when it comes to which one is better, I also think its pretty cool finding out that you're dreaming. But on the other hand, I also like feeling the shifting of my consciousness from wakefulness to sleep. That's always a good rush!

Oh yeah I definitely have learned to stop being hard on myself for missing lucid cues. When I get them I get them, when I don't I don't. Otherwise I'd go mad! Like you, I've missed some blindingly obvious cues. Like the time I dreamed I was sitting at a table trying to convince my mother she should be doing a reality check if she wants to get into lucid dreaming... and didn't do one myself! Duh!

Yeah, I still practice WILD whenever I can and although I'm not as good as I used to be with WILD I often end up having a DILD anyway. But I agree the feeling of going into a dream straight from being awake is pretty unique and definitely a huge rush

*Lucid (WILD): I found myself lucid in a very dark place; this dream scene was giving me bad vibes. This place reminded me of a mattress store located in a mall but it was as if I was there while that place was closed. The dream scene was dimly lit and remained so for the duration of the dream. I gradually became uneasy because of the negative energy the place was giving off, but it never crossed my mind once to change dream scenes; I just kept reminding myself that I was alright because I was only dreaming and lucid. This little mantra kept me content while I vigilantly explored the vicinity. I began to fly as I patrolled the place (I felt more comfortable doing this). I don't remember all the details of this dream but at some point when I hit a corner, a man appeared. I instantly engaged in a battle with him because I was already "on-edge" to begin with, so his sudden appearance didn't help the least bit. After a short scuffle, I pulled my hands to my left side and began to gather energy, at the same time I decided that I wanted to try and shoot a purple energy blast (I got the idea from Oneironaut's DJ). When I thought that I had enough energy stored, I emitted a powerful, purple blast-ray right to his chest sending him a great distance backwards to my amazement (I was really excited because I had never done that before). At that point, I was in combat mode, I was ready for more. Another man then rushed me from my left. I repeated the energy-emission process over by gathering energy from my side. I gave him the same purple blast but this time hitting him in the knee. He also flew back significantly far and did a few flips which amused me. I looked around for more, and at the end of the store, I saw another adversary standing between an entrance way. I began running towards him, he did the same. We collided at the center and began brawling. I wanted to test out my hand-to-hand combat skills in the dream world a little before I moved on to my super-natural abilities. The fight was actually pretty good. We would exchange punches and roundhouse kicks back and forth, I occasionally slowed time down to put some action moves in slow motion for extra emphasis. After a while of this, I once again brought my hands down to my side to do another energy blast. I had to rush this one because he was still attacking me, so I once again released my energy onto my opponent. But something else happened, a bright, gold and yellow light shined from my hands. This was pretty interesting in spite of it not having an affect on my opponent because it acted as a shield for me, and provided a temporary barrier between us. This barrier was completely unintended and accidental but was cool nonetheless. While he couldn't attack me, I brought my hands back to my sides to go for another energy blast but failed again, this time nothing came out at all. The dream began to fade a bit, but I spun around attempting to get a few more seconds in it, but the dream ended.

      Night Zombies at the Colossal-Market

Non-lucid: I was inside some sort of colossal-sized super market, I mean this place was huge (imagine something about four times the size of a super walmart). There were a lot of people there too. I was walking around looking at stuff and then before I knew it, I began to notice zombies walking around with me. There were zombies and people running and screaming every where. There were only a few zombies inside, so I ducked and dodged my way through the zombies like a cat. It took me a while to get to the entrance/exit from where I was at (I was at the back of the super market of course). I had to go through this long hallway-like tunnel filled with panicking people and zombies to get out of the zombie infested super market. After I made my way through the tunnel, I realized that there were even more zombies outside than there were inside, waaaaay more (think about the crowd of zombies outside of the mall in the movie "Dawn of the Dead"). I noticed that it was night time. I had absolutely no chance to go anywhere other than back into the supermarket despite it being filled with zombies. I went back through the crowded tunnel to discover that more and more people were turning into zombies as time went by. It was even harder getting back in through the tunnel than it was getting out. When I was back inside the supermarket, there was nearly a few people left who weren't zombies. I then began running aimlessly through the supermarket to keep away from the zombies. Although they weren't fast at all (they were the slow-moving breed of zombies), there was still a vast amount of them. There was one or two around every corner of an aisle that I turned. As I made laps around the colossal sized supermarket, I noticed that everybody had become zombies and that I was the only one left. At some point in the dream, I remember eating a bag of sun chips and a honey bun while I was running.
I then decided that I couldn't last forever running around in circles from these zombies, so I made my way back to the tunnel that led to the entrance/exit. When I reached the tunnel, the pathway was nearly blocked by zombies. I still went for it, I had to push, shove, fight, and kick my way through the tunnel. I even remember jumping over one zombie that was on the ground. When I got outside, I noticed that the Sun was rising. As the Sun rose, it was implied that everyone would return to normal when the Sun rose. I waited and sure enough, everyone returned to normal as if nothing happened. I made my way back through the tunnel to see people talking and laughing as if they weren't just dead a minute ago. I woke up before I got back inside the supermarket.

Thanks DQ! And oh, its too late, I already saw that. I'm glad those things weren't in my dream though, because I wouldn't have lasted a freakin' second!

Non-lucid: I am walking with a group that is apparently made up of my classmates. We are being led by our teacher to our class. It seems I am back in high school. I notice that it is night time but I accept it like I usually accept odd things in dreams. As we are nearing the building, I feel that I have no need to go to class and decide to ditch the group. I slow down to the back of the group and then casually head right out of the group towards a familiar area. The area I cut through this area that mimics that of an area between two buildings at my old middle school. I pass through this area without a single thought of questioning exactly where the hell I am. On the other side of the area, I see a brick wall with a window sill in it that leads to the other side of the wall. I climb in but am called back by the teacher before I make it through all the way. She asks me what I am doing and I give her the old cliche excuse that I was looking for the bathroom. I figured that someone must have snitched on me, because there was no other way she could've noticed me slip away. She told me to follow her back to the building I was supposed to be in.
The building's atrium/lounge area that we walked into resembled that of the one at my college in RL except the bottom level was a lot bigger and the all the stairs were facing the opposite direction. As we proceeded to the rest of the class, she pointed out two bathrooms that were right two different level (also like the ones at my college). I walked down a flight of stairs to the bottom level of the atrium/lounge area where the rest of my class was. They all were studying for an upcoming vocab test that we had. I looked at one of the words from someone's book and realized that I was going to fail because I didnt have a clue what any of the words meant (probably because they werent actually words at all).

Non-lucid/Fragment: I am hanging out with my two friends K and B at B's house (which wasnt his real house in RL). B told us that his prescription for Xanax (Alprozolam) came in and showed us the box it was in. We then talked about how lucky he is and I was thinking how much I wanted to actually try it. Before I did anything else, he came over to me and told me to hold my hand out. He then began to dump massive amounts of it into my hand. Then he did the same to K and me again.

Lucid: I am standing on the football field alone at my old high school. It is cloudy outside as if it was about to start raining at any moment. I am supposed to be getting ready for baseball practice but really don't feel like going today (I had a baseball catch with my dad on Wednesday so that's probably why I had this dream). I see Coach B. from a far approaching the field with the ball bag. I suddenly began to get that feeling that I am dreaming but am not certain that I am. I am thinking of something to tell Coach B. so that I wont have to go to practice today. I realize that I don't need an excuse because I am dreaming.

From there, I attempt to fly by jumping up from two feet into the air which proved unsuccessful. I glided maybe 10-20 yards before touching back down to try again. This time, I ran full speed and then took off of one foot instead of two
(I fly a lot better with a running start and when I jump off of one foot). I flew clear across his head without stopping to see his reaction. I began to soar across my campus in an instant. I spot a tree on the far end of the campus and fly to it. The tree is rather large. When I got to the tree, I flew under its canopy and began to fly to the top.

As I began my ascension, I couldn't believe how large the tree's canopy was, it was like one of those mystical trees that are a lot bigger on the inside than they are on the outside. I flew circles upward through the tree's canopy many times, evading some of branches while doing so. I don't know or care exactly where I am going, I'm just enjoying the obstacle of flying up and through this tree. The tree probably could have grown into infinity. The tree's growth seemed to only have been regulated by my flying.

I grabbed a branch and perched on another one when I had gone high enough. I peered out of the tree to see an amazing view. I was on top of the world. I could see vast amounts of land stretching out over the horizon in almost every direction from the tree. The view was like the one you see looking out a window on a plane, except being able to see the Earth through many large windows instead of only being able see it through one small window. I didn't plan on seeing this or being up this high. It was unbelievably breathtaking.

In spite of this situation, I had a problem. The fact that I was dreaming did not change the fact that I am still afraid of heights. The view of the Earth also was extremely realistic, more realistic than I thought it could be. I needed to find a way down without losing lucidity or the dream. I figured it was best if I flew down (now thinking on it, I wish I had sky dove downward). I gathered my focus and hesitated for a moment to take the view in one more time. Then I went for it. I jumped from the branch out of the tree. I had a pretty good jump but I don't fly very well from a standing point. I glided downward in the exact same way I had the first time at the beginning of the dream.
. The dream faded during my descent. This was my first LD in almost three weeks and one of my best ones.

I couldn't embed this pic for some reason but here is a view similar to mine when I was flying up the tree
