      Yuki's Dream Journal.

      2.13.09

      Lucid dreamed. Sort of.

I was in my parents' room, because my own room creeps me out now. My younger brother was next to me, and next to him, my mom. I felt myself about to dream. And so I did.

It's strange, because even if I know I'm dreaming, my actions are limited to what I'm able to do in real life. I can also close my eyes in this dream, and feel like I'm closing my eyes in real life. When I open them, though, I know I'm still dreaming, but it feels so real. It feels like I have two different sets of eyes.

In the dream, I can see the television's lights from the living room flashing on and off from the door, which is partially open. I wonder if my dad is awake. I want to get up and see, but I can't. I know my brother is next to me, sleeping, but it doesn't feel like him. It's dark, creepy, and I hate the feeling so I keep getting up. There are no lights coming from the living room. One blink later, I see the lights again. One blink later, I'm awake. One blink later, the lights come back on..

[some past dreams I'm posting so I don't forget]

I was sleeping in my room, but I had a lucid dream I was sleeping in my brother's room. Something was holding me down. I didn't try to resist - I was kind of curious to see what would happen next if I didn't try to "control" anything. From the doorway I saw a silhouette of a girl floating by, and then vanish into nothing. I woke up, then, and couldn't go back to sleep for a long time.

I was sleeping in the living room, because I didn't want to sleep in my room. I lucid dreamed. I was laying there, trying to desperately "control" something. Anything. Like I used to. Flying above my town, for example. But I couldn't. I could only do what I could in real life. I stayed like that for a while, wondering why I couldn't do anything worthwhile. From my angle, I could see the stairs coming down, but only half of them. And a silhouette of a girl started coming down as well. She had long, black hair covering her face.

I blinked, and woke up (I think). The girl was gone. Everything was just how it was. So I felt myself drifting off to sleep (I think). The girl was there again, seemingly progressing from her original distance. I "woke up." There was no girl. But I knew if I drifted off again, I'd see the girl. So I stayed awake for a while until I finally fell into a dreamless sleep.

It was daytime. This wasn't a lucid dream. I was on my bed, napping. I had a dream a girl was sitting on my bed, looking over me while I slept. When I woke up inside my dream, I was still facing the wall. The girl wasn't on my bed, but I saw her face squeezed inside this pale blue, transparent water jug, her eyes bulging out. I then seriously woke up and thought the girl was still sitting on my bed. But she wasn't.

It was night. This wasn't a lucid dream. I was laying on my bed. A weird woman is standing next to my bed, with a knife in her hand. She's wearing all white. She's glowing white, too. I get scared in the dream and force myself to wake up. I then fall asleep again. That same woman is there. I wake up, then fall asleep. I see the woman again for the third time. So I wake up, stay like that for a while, then fall into a dreamless sleep.

Sleeping in my room. I wake up in the dream, hearing weird noises. I stare out my window, which is adjacent to me. I have a clear view of my backyard. There's a circle of people in my backyard. They're not moving. They're murmuring things I can't hear. I wonder who they are, before laying back down on my bed. I think this ties in with the previous dream with the woman, but I don't know.

Yay...good decision to begin. No worries though, write what you can...even a little is better than nothing, even just fragments. Also, you must know that you'll have off and on days...don't let it worry you if you can't recall for a day or two...happens to everyone. I wish you luck and I hope to see some great dreams here soon.
