Lol, no, the thing I was supposed to be translating was already written in Spanish.
On another note... My goodness, I'm way behind on updating this thing. Meh, I'll do it tomorrow. =P
Always put off til tomorrow what could be done today!!
Or... wait... was that the other way around...?

Dream 1
Poseidon had built a machine which allowed him to create and modify other creatures. He announced the creation of this new machine on TV by using an image of dinner plates. Then he demonstrated himself making a missile which he could control with his mind, but he crashed it into a wall. He made another one and had it fly around over a pool, this time doing a better job of controlling it.
Scene change. I was watching TV with my friend. We had cable, but none of the shows seemed interesting. Apparently my dad had promised to get me pets, but instead I ended up with a field filled with plastic animal sculptures. There was also something about disabled kids.
Fragment 1
I got more oatmeal than I could eat, but I didn't want to be wasteful so I had to eat it all. Then I rode in a car with my friend's family.
Fragment 2
I had an overhead view of a white canvas (like on a computer screen). I was in control of a vector pen, and there was a little person running around on the canvas. I circled her with the pen, which made her explode. :D

I did a hand RC, but it didn't work. I did a nose RC just in case, and found that I could breathe even when my nose was plugged. Rather than becoming lucid, I was very confused by this. There was a random DC standing next to me, so I asked her if this was a dream. She just stared ahead blankly and didn't respond to me. I was so sure that I wasn't dreaming for some reason. I didn't understand why the nose RC had failed me... It had never been wrong before! *facepalm*

The world was ending and we were running out of oxygen. I transferred to a different school (not sure how it relates, but that's what it says in my DJ). I was trying to figure out how we could survive, but then I realized that it was impossible and instead focused on what dying would be like. I determined that once all the oxygen was gone, we would all just fall asleep painlessly because there would still be air for us to breathe, even though it wouldn't have any oxygen. This was a bit worrying though, because then I had no way of knowing when the suffocation was starting.
Then some guy tried to steal all our video games. I went to a shop and bought a smoothie. The person making the smoothie showed me her house and told me how much it cost. She was bragging about how expensive it was. After that my brother and I went to buy a baby pig, wanting to do something nice for our mom since the world was ending and all. Each one cost $140, and they looked thoroughly unappetizing. Before giving us the pig, the guy there had to prepare it, so he cut off the pig's butt (which looked remarkably similar to a human butt) off in slabs. Then the pig guy showed us his house and bragged about how expensive it was. Apparently he was competing with the smoothie lady.
Pig guy told us (my older brother had been replaced with my little brother, and my dad had joined us) that his house had a secret passage to the bottom floor. While he talked with my dad, my little brother and I went off to find this passage. I found a trap door in a closet and saw that it went to a whole secret area, which was filled with a bunch of assorted junk (probably a fair number of collectibles too). One of the things I found was an Indian head with long hair, half of which was dyed bright green. Pig guy came down and started playing music.
Somehow I ended up outside, where pig guy and smoothie lady were having a color war. Pig guy used magic to paint his legs green and blue. To counter this, smoothie lady used her own magic to paint purple and yellow bands on her arms.

My dad got mad at me because I'd sided with my mom in an argument. There was a computer nearby. On its desktop I saw a file that had the Google Chrome image but had "Axel" and some nonsense as its title. My dad accusingly asked me what it was; I told him truthfully that I didn't know. We opened the file and saw that it was a letter. I didn't read it, but I noticed that the first sentence was written in all caps. Then my dad started getting on my case about giving out personal information online. I assumed that he suspected "that Axel guy" (not actually something my dad said in the dream, but how I imagined he would have referred to Axel) was some sort of stalker and who knows what information I would give him [Axel] if he [my dad] didn't step in to stop me. He threatened to slap me, and my older brother also turned on me. "Fine then, do it," I challenged them, planning on taking the hit(s), slapping them back, and then running away.
In the end they didn't hit me, but I did run. I met up with my friend and my neighbor and started talking with them, trying to act casual. I remembered that the school year was almost over, and was excited to go to college and get away from my parents. Then I remembered that I still had all of Senior year to get through.
Hahaha, cool dreams. The last dream is pretty funny :lol:. I've completely forgotten to update my DJ ;_;
Will do first thing tomorrow =)
Sounds like the planet that went to sleep in Serenity? Alliance scientists released a chemical into the air in order to make the population peaceful, but everyone just gave up and stopped moving, eating, breathing... except for the ones that didn't.Quote:
I determined that once all the oxygen was gone, we would all just fall asleep painlessly because there would still be air for us to breathe, even though it wouldn't have any oxygen.
I've never seen Serenity, but I've heard Firefly is good.
Pokemon + Fantasy game items = pretty cool
I was at an office, and I had to fill out a paper with my physics teacher's information. The paper was covered up though, so I couldn't see what I was writing. I tried to trace over what I'd written, but of course I couldn't go over the lines perfectly and ended up with an illegible mess. I waited for my teacher to come so that she could fill out the stuff I didn't know. There was something about world maps (like the kind in Pokemon).
Then I was playing a Pokemon game. It was sort of like the gameboy games, but there were some differences, like new Pokemon (Eeveelutions specifically). There were also different items you could equip, each of which did something different with rather random conditions. One of the items I had was a healing item, but how much it healed depended on the altitude you were at. Each of the items had its own type, and may have functioned differently if the Pokemon it was equipped to was of the same type. As I scrolled through the menu, I saw that I had 7 pairs of dark-typed boots. A little avatar of them popped up. They looked pretty cool, so I equipped them on all of my Pokemon.
While I was thinking about avatars, I thought about changing my avatar on DV. I got the idea of changing my display name to confuse people. I was going to temporarily switch it to Vanilla Twilight, but then I realized that a username change would be permanent.
I remembered a couple of other dreams when I woke up in the middle of the night too... I was going to write them down, but next thing I knew I was waking up again. >.>
Umm?
I did a reality check and determined that I was definitely awake. I'm still trying to figure out whether that was a dream, or I actually woke up and reality checked.

I was at my house, stuffing a stuffed zebra. Then I fought with someone over rulers and had to switch classes. That's what was written in my DJ, anyway. While writing it, I remember wondering whether I would be able to understand my notes later.
Happens to me all the time =)Quote:

LOL, I think this A LOT, especially if it's in the middle of the night :)Quote:
While writing it, I remember wondering whether I would be able to understand my notes later.
And the answer is usually, "WTF was I on?" when I read it again in the morning :)
Same here.Quote:

Another night where I woke up and recalled several dreams, but only had the discipline to write down one of them (once I had to get up anyway)
I had joined my school's robotics team. We were on a stage, but at the same time it was a car/bus. I started playing a game where you were a penguin standing on a rolling boulder. The screen scrolled up, and you had to try to jump higher than all of the other people. Here and there were various platforms/objects one could stand on. I stopped playing and was still on the bus. We were about to drop off my friend, but then I realized that we were several hours away from our school. I asked her how she got to school every day, which led to a rather long conversation.
I was at a funeral. Pretty much all of the guests were black, except me and my dad, but the ceremony seemed to be Indian (not to be confused with Native American). Everyone was dressed in Indian clothes and there were several people at the front of the room standing on some sort of altar with incense. The people on the altar were singing traditional Indian songs (according to the dream, anyway). At first the songs just sounded like a bunch of random blather; the people didn't seem to be singing along with the background music. However, I then realized that, while most of it was improv, there were some notes/tunes that were required and brought it all together. I thought that it was really cool.
One of the singers dropped her mic. Thinking that the ceremony was over, my dad picked up the mic and started giving a speech about the guy who had died. They weren't done with the song though, so he pretty much looked like an idiot and I was quite embarrassed.
I don't know about those penguins... :shakehead:Quote:

lol everything out of place in that last dream, it seems.
I was in outer space. I guess I was travelling between planets, but then part of the planet I was on crystallized, which meant that I had to run away... I also spoke to someone in Spanish.
Then I was in physics class. There was a guy trying to murder one of my classmates, so the class worked together to protect him.
Meh, I need to get more sleep.
Travelling through planets, sounds pretty epic, too bad you don't remember more, or couldn't sleep more. Look at the good side, classes are ending soon, right?
I do remember it being epic, I just couldn't remember much.
Hallelujah to classes ending!
1:15am
I was really thirsty, but all of the cups were covered in dirty oatmeal leftovers, so I couldn't get a drink. Usually plain water isn't that appealing to me, but in this dream it sounded amazing.
I was riding in a car driving down the freeway at night. We were driving the opposite way of traffic (although we were on the right side), but we were forming our own union/club/system or whatever, so that meant we were allowed to make new driving rules on the spot. We had one lane on the freeway designated for driving the other way, only we kept switching which lane it was. I'm not sure how the other cars on the road heard about the rule changes, since we hadn't said them out loud, but they did know.
Up ahead was a group of people in cars talking to a police guy, discussing the law. We pulled up to them and stopped. For pretty much the entire dream, I'd known that it wasn't real, although I hadn't quite figured out it was a dream until just then. The dream skipped, and we were sitting in a circle, still talking with the police officer. Everything seemed slightly blurry, so I decided to go with the dream for a while.
"Sir, do you know that this is a dream?" I asked the police officer. (In hindsight, this isn't exactly going with the dream plot.)
"Yes."
The dream was still unstable. I asked the first question that came to mind. "Do you know this is a dream?"
"I already told you yes, Erin."
For some reason I was very surprised that he knew my name. "How do you know my name?" I asked. Halfway through his response, I woke up.
I tried to DEILD and got a bit of HH, but I didn't get back into a dream. I was worried about falling back asleep and forgetting the dream. I think this is the first time I've ever recalled a dream from my first REM period, much less a lucid one.
8:27am
I was on a field trip to an arcade. I wanted to play one of the games, but it was already taken, so instead I watched someone else play a different game, which had horrible graphics.
Maybe a scene change, maybe a different dream. We're having some sort of convention in my mom's room, and one of the DCs is famous. Of course, I'd never heard of him, so while all the other people were going crazy and begging for autographs, I was acting normal.
It turned into someone's birthday party, and we were going on a camping trip. Earlier in the dream, I'd squished two bugs in my shoe. It was great that I didn't have to worry about the bugs anymore, except that now I didn't want to put on my shoes. I had to park my car, but, being the daughter of a god (Zeus?), I had super strength and rather than driving my car into the spot, I just carried it to its spot. Pretty much everyone else had super strength too, and they were parking their cars in the same manner. All of the cars were really thin; just barely wide enough for a person to fit in.
Then there was chocolate cake, but when I went to eat a piece it crumbled apart and disappeared. I did get some cake in the end. I remember thinking that it was tasty as I went to eat it, but I don't remember the actual taste.
10:23am
I was on DV. Next to me, Mario (Mario92) was on another computer. He excitedly started showing me a new feature on DV, where you could navigate the site using only a pencil (the computer screens were touch screens) and without having to go to any new pages. Tapping on a board made it expand into a list of threads, which you could then scroll through. Tapping one of the threads replaced the thread list with the posts in that thread. It was pretty cool. I enjoyed scrolling on the touch screen. I looked at the list of things that had to be done for the next update and say that both Mario and Serenity were halfway through writing complicated-looking codes. Huh, I didn't know Serenity could code, I thought.
Then Alex (taking the form of my graphic design teacher) walked over and started explaining that people would be able to draw directly onto the forum--anywhere they wanted--in the art section. I had the brilliant idea of making it so that people could use this feature to make their own themes. That way everyone would have tons of themes to choose from. (When I woke up, I realized how many hideous skins we would end up with using this plan.) I was torn between being amazed that Alex was actually my graphic design teacher and wondering how he'd known who I was on DV.
Pwnage anyone?
I was in Spanish class. We were doing a project where you made a game, but so far I'd done all the work. In fact, my group members hadn't even shown up for the past couple of classes. The class ended, and while I was walking to my next class someone I hadn't talked to in years randomly started walking with me and chatting. I thought this was a bit strange, but I wouldn't have minded being friends again. We stopped at our Spanish class, and I was like, "uhh, I just came from this class." What did I have after Spanish? Oh right, math. I started walking to the math buildings, now accompanied by a different person I never talk to.
When we got to my math class, I realized that she was going to cut her next class, but I decided not to do anything because I was already going to be late. I went into my class and saw that there was only my teacher and a couple other adults. I must have gone to the wrong class. I went back outside and asked what period it was. The person I was with earlier said that it was C period, which was Spanish, but I'd just come from Spanish. I realized that it was Monday. Was it possible that I'd gone to the wrong first two classes and neither of my teachers had noticed? My Spanish teacher could be a bit unobservant, but I didn't think my B period teacher would also not notice. This sort of thing usually only happens in dreams, I thought.
Instead of going to my Spanish class, I went to the library (which was in the wrong spot). Inside I saw that we had a creepy, middle-aged, hadn't-shaved-in-a-couple-days male sub. He challenged me to try to attack him. I'm not sure exactly where I became lucid, but I remember trying to do a hand RC and then thinking, "screw it, I already know that this is a dream." I started hitting him, but my hits didn't do anything but make him laugh. I kneed him, barely missing his crotch. He fell to the floor, but he was laughing as he said, "hey now, no punching, that's not nice; but you can give me a BJ."
I knew that my goal was to find Axel, but first this guy had to pay. Besides, I wanted to go with the dream plot because I'd heard it was good for keeping the dream stable. So you see, in the name of stability I had to beat him up. He was still on the ground, so I started kicking him and stomping on his ugly, whiskery neck. He got up and started fighting back.
I switched to third person and started completely owning him, Matrix style, complete with super speed and running up walls and everything. I pulled him up a wall with me and continued to "fight" (in a very loose sense of the word; "pummel" might be more fitting here) him. At one point I had a little mental conversation with myself that went something like this:
"Am I losing lucidity?"
"...Err, no. Duh."
And thus the pummeling continued.
I started wondering whether I could switch back to first person. Third person kicked him away from the wall, straight at the camera (for lack of a better word for my point of view). I grabbed him (1st person) and swung him around, then kicked him down at the ground. I watched my third person self fall with him, and realized that I was now in control of two people.
The camera jumped to a new spot, and I saw that the floor had been replaced with orange mist and a hole that went down who knows how far. I had third person continue to beat him up, but basic story-writing skills and roleplaying manners had taught me not to make myself invincible because it's boring, so I let him get in a punch and 3rd started falling. I wanted to switch back to first person and try to fight him, because this was no challenge, so I imagined myself in the place of 3rd, falling through the fog.
The dream destabilized, and I heard my cousin say that she'd saved me by teleporting me. I saw the edge of a brick wall briefly, but it disappeared. My cousin kept talking, so I opened my eyes, expecting to see her behind me. Too bad I didn't recognize that it was just HH and remember that eyes can move during REM.
I like how you imposed the no invincibility rule on yourself. :)
Lol, I guess it's a habit by now. ;)
heh, poor random DC, cool fight too.
Of course I can! :shadewink: *coughs* :DQuote:
Huh, I didn't know Serenity could code, I thought.
Kick-ass! I haven't done this, yet. Sounds like it would be awesome! (New goal!)Quote:
I watched my third person self fall with him, and realized that I was now in control of two people.
Well... maybe after you've done it once or twice, right? TBH, I've never been invincible, either.Quote:
but basic story-writing skills and roleplaying manners had taught me not to make myself invincible because it's boring
You needed to call Chuck Norris and allow him to punch your DC with the fist of the size of a truck :lmao:
