Nothing the night before last (hence no post yesterday), but OMG! First Lucid last night! I'm pretty sure it was lucid anyway. It felt very much like how people describe lucid dreams, but some things weren't right about it, like how long it was, how I didn't really get excited at all, that I remember, how easily I stayed in it, how I wasn't sure if one part was reality or not, even though the spot was a mix of two places I've lived in, and how many things I missed. If it wasn't actually lucid, I congratulate my brain on a dream well created.
2/28 - 3/1/09
1) This one I only remember bits and pieces of, but it was a sleepover at my friend's house (the one who I'm calling C in my DJ) and another friend of mine, who I'll call J, was there too. I was once again, as I usually am when he appears in my dreams, in love with C. Thing is, he had a girlfriend (which he has in real life) and I was being extremely sneaking about trying to get him to like me. I think he was getting the idea by the end. It was odd, and I get really annoyed when I have dreams involving him.
2) During all of this dream, especially the part I'm pretty sure was lucid, I had an utter lack of emotion. Good for staying lucid, but it makes me wonder if I really was lucid. I was in a room that was fairly empty with someone else. We went into another room and stole a circular object, and I was expecting an alarm to start blaring, but it didn't. We went back into the other room, hearing robot voices following us, and I set the object that had now become a box on a stand near the wall. As I open it, I start thinking "Alright, now for those dream superpowers" That's when I remember that I do have superpowers. I was in a dream! Strangely enough, I thought this more as if it was fact and only got a little excited, as far as I can remember. I never did any reality checks either. I unfortunately realized this just as the evil robots came in the room and started shooting little white balls at us. I dropped to the floor, then was trying to get my bearings as they continued to fire at us. I then lifted my hand and willed the balls to stop, thinking or saying something like "stop time!". They stopped, sort of matrix-style and just hung in the air. I don't exactly remember what I did next, but I think I was trying to fix an itch or something in the corner of my right eye, but instead of fixing it in the dream world, I actually opened my physical eyes for a moment. The dream of course, vanished, but I was still very aware of my dream body. I dropped to the floor, which I could still feel, and started feeling the hardwood floor, then rubbing my hands together, and switching between the two for a while. Eventually, a new dream materialized. I rubbed the carpet, then rubbed my hands together for a couple minutes, then set off down the street that happened to be in the house I'd materialized in. I went over to a window in my living room (this part actually looked a lot like my current living room) I thought I'd try walking through glass. I put my fingers against it, but it remained solid. I tried a few more times, but it still didn't work. I put my head against the glass and it broke a little bit. I backed away and decided to break it, so I punched it with my palm facing it. It shattered. I then decided to try to fix it, so I moved my hands up and toward me. All the pieces of glass jumped up and filled in the hole, but it didn't look repaired. I tried a few more arm movements and got it fairly well fixed. I then moved it to the side, on accident, and a bunch of people came through. I tried to close it again, but I didn't. I think it had suddenly become winter, but I don't remember feeling cold. The glass had become ice, but I didn't notice this. I turned to a bunch of boxes that also had ice in them. I tried fixing them, and the DC's seemed impressed. Then another one came in, and started lecturing me on how this was the last thing we needed and something about a flood. I listened to him, then left and walked back up the street. I then remembered my idea to find Cloud Strife from the Final Fantasy VII game, so I willed him to appear behind me. I turned around and he was right there, though it was actually a female version of him with red hair and a ponytale. I jumped on him anyway and changed him into the male version as I did. I remember C and J being somewhere nearby. C handed me a carved circle of wood or stone about 8 inches wide. It had letters of the alphabet on it. So I left Cloud and walked somewhere else. I spun, trying to create a scene in my novels. It sort of worked, but the place appeared in the distance. I tried again, but nothing changed. I walked forward and saw that there was a stadium in the middle of the circular valley. I don't remember teleporting there, though I'm pretty sure I tried to, so I might have been successful. I was now in a vine-covered area and decided to changed my clothes into Lightning's from Final Fantasy XIII. This almost worked perfectly, but I think some parts were flipped (right leg instead of left). I then followed someone else down the side of the stadium I was standing next to. There were handle bars every couple of feet, but some of them were coming out as I grabbed onto them. Neither me or the person I was with now with fell though. We got to the floor in a book-store sort of place and I heard DC's muttering about people not escaping from that performance. I then continued to follow the girl I was with. She was kind of evil, but not really. (Looking for the bad guys but being really vicious about it.) We entered a room while she was muttering various things. I saw me, C, and J standing there. This a was scene from my previous dream. I spun, trying to create the Forgotten City from Final Fantasy VII. It sort of worked, but ended up being a scene from a dream I had a few days ago and had forgotten about, with a few dozen short glowing trees. I think I lost lucidity somewhere around here, I think when one of the glowing trees walked up. It looked like a purple/blue carrot at one point with a whole bunch of faces on it. I tried to plant it, but woke up before I did.
