An Extremely vivid non-lucid dream. A lot of the weird side.

I found myself in front of a local liquor store. It is where I purchase all of my wine, because unlike other states, ours does not allow wine sales in grocery stores. I don't know why I was there, but Paperdoll was there with me. I believe we were talking about dreaming or some such thing.

My wife drove up and got out of her car. She was furious, I never really found out why. It could have been because she thought I was having an affair with her, or because I said or did something that she misinterpreted and thought I was being cruel.

Anyway, after some amount of yelling and trying my best to get her to realize that I had done nothing wrong and that if I did hurt her, it was unintentional, I had finally had enough.

"Fine!", I yelled. "I give up!"

I then turned and began to run. I was running south down a small two lane state highway.

"I've had enough of this life" I thought to myself. "I'm going to run until I die from a heart attack!"

I increased my pace and my breathing and heart rate increased. At one point, I found myself frantically trying to climb a bank beside the road. It was grass covered, but steep. My legs pumped frantically and I dug my fingers into the ground attempting to climb the hill. My fingers became bloody, my breathing was fast, my heart felt like it would explode at any moment. This only motivated me to try harder.

I reached the crest of the hill and turned back into the road. I noticed to my right, a parking lot. I guess by this time, I had sprinted for about 3 miles. A presence was calling me into the parking lot. I could see nobody, but knew a being was calling me in. There was a small customs building with a sign, "Welcome to Canada!"

I noticed that it was mostly empty except for a few trucks. I quickly sprinted to the back of the lot. The further I went, the calmer I became.

Suddenly, I found myself running through a strange pink landscape. It still looked like a parking lot, but it was warm and slippery. (yes, in that way!). I was running through a viscous, slippery fluid, but it was so soothing and relaxing. I was in no distress and if I was breathing, it was effortless. A great sense of peace enveloped me as I kept going. My breathing had returned to normal, my heart rate was normal.

I noticed on the ground were sharp structures. Imagine the cutting blades on a disposable razor, six feet long and 1one food wide with the blades facing up to cut a careless traveler. My guide, I'll call the being that now, told me to go deeper into the place.

I do not remember how long I traveled, but at one point, my guide stopped me. He said "Stop, you have already traversed one hundred years, go no further or you might not return". Of course I stopped and turned around.

Way off in the distance, I could see the entrance, it was way off. I noticed that the razor like structures were no longer present.

"It is time for you to return" my guide told me.

I slowly began to float toward the entrance. As I did, I watched the landscape on the other side of the entrance. During my journey, time rewound for 100 years. I could see large trees becoming smaller and smaller until they returned to seed.

When I reached the entrance, I woke up. I had such a profound sense of peace that followed me all morning.

Jan 19, 2005 - Non-Lucid Dream containing a lot of dreamviews friends.

I don't know why, maybe it was because I read about the new Airbus A380 yesterday. It is supposed to carry around 800 passengers.

I boarded the airplane, it was huge! Lucius was with me and we had a sleeping compartment on the plane. We waited, getting ready for takeoff. While we waited, we were joined by CT and then by Serinanth. It was shaping up to be a real dreamviews festival!

Lost Soul then came in wearing blue, her hair was red as always, but for some reason, she had a moustache and beard, both were red. I asked Lucius about it and he whispered that her meds were out of whack and she was really self concious about it so I should just ignore it.
Someone else joined, I'm pretty sure it was Ophelia. There were at least two others, but I cannot remember who.

Time for takeoff! We all crawled into the sleeping compartment and began to rest. I was next to Lucius, and for some reason, I don;t know why, I had a boner. Lucius was having a great time kidding me about it and joking that HE was the reason I had it =P.

Disconnect happeded.

I then found myself stretched out in a seat outside the compartment, reading a magazine. Everyone else was all snuggled up and either sleeping comfortably or playing affectionately. I felt a little sadness that I was not in there with them enjoying the company and knew I could join them any time I wished. For some reason, I just sat in my chair and thought I would let them all just rest and enjoy themselves.

While sitting there, a young girl about seven came up and began to talk to me. I cannot remember what she said, but I was somewhat amazed at the depth of her wisdom and knowledge.

Things became fuzzy at this point, the last thing I remember was wishing that I had crawled back into the sleeping compartment with my friend

This dream left me with a sense of loneliness and longing for some reason. I'm still trying to figure out why...

wow you now alot of people from dreamviews, did you teach them how to lucid dream, or did you just meat them in real life, if you did tell them all how to lucid dream you must be skilled at getting people interested, I stink at that .

YAY! Someone is reading my journal!

I know CT and Lucius in real life, fine fellows! The others are just really close and special internet friends, but hopefully i'll get to meat some more in real life.

I've not taught any of these DV members to LD. They were all really good at it when I met them!

I allways wanted to meet another lucid dreamer in real life, did you just meet them one day, and they said they where lucid dreamers?

Nah, I met both of them here at dreamviews and we became friends. I took a trip to Germany last fall and drove up to the Netherlands to have dinner with them and another friend, Lucid Apple.

Great bunch of guys! I'm working on another trip this fall. Maybe this time more of us can get together!

OK, this was lucid, but still weird.

Saturday morning, I had slept about 7 hours and was feeling pretty good, a couple of hours left until I had to get up and start my day, so I decided to WILD.

Everything went smoothly, very fast and mild transition.

I found myself in my mother-in-law's family room. I usually sit in a vinyl chair over in one corner, but I found myself sitting this time in the floor, propped against the corner. I must have thought that I didn't achieve lucidity for some reason, because I closed my eyes and began the WILD process again.

This time, again, very smooth transition and found myself in an extremely vivid LD. Super realism, the kind that almost makes your jaw drop.

I practiced my Jedi skills a little bit by holding out my hand and commanding objects to come to me. It was fun for a little, but I went exploring.

I found my wife, I've been trying to dreamscape with her for a while now and thought, "Maybe this time!"

I pulled her close, looked her in the face, and told her that this was a dream. The look she gave me was classic! She told me, no way this was a dream.

I told her "Yes, it is, right now, I am sitting in the corner of your mom's family room having a lucid dream". Anyhow, I finally convinced her that it was a dream. I asked her to do her best to please remember this dream because I would ask her about it when we woke up.

The dream began to fade and I found myself back in bed. "Whoa", I was expecting to wake up back in the corner of the famliy room. This left me a little disoriented.

When my wife woke up, she didn't remember anything.

Yay, My first LD in 33 days!

Laying in bed this morning after six hours of sleep. My wife agreed to get up and get the kids off to school so I could sleep a little.

As I was lying there, I felt those familiar electric shocks going through my body. I wasn't trying to induce, but for some reason, my body was trying to WILD.

I layed there in transition for a while with shocks coming and going, I was having difficulty summoning up any imagery with which I could start the dream. Just about to give up when I broke through transition and found myself walking outside. It was dark and there was little I could do to brighten things up any. Nothing was working, so I just decided to fly.

I shot up about 100 feet or so and it started to fade. I was back in bed and my wife was over me telling me she was taking the kids on to school. Whoa, that meant it was 8:00 and I had been in an LD state for over 1.5 hours. I lay back down and was back in a lucid dream.

I was dreaming I was lying in bed, so I got up and walked to the back porch window. The sun was just beginning to come up and the light was hitting an oak at the back of our land. It was pretty breathtaking, so I exerted my will and made the sunrise speed up.

After it was light, I noticed a squirel was watching me. Our upper porch is 20 feet off the ground and sits level with the top of an apple tree. The Squirel slipped and fell to the ground. My hound was waiting for it and snapped it out of the air, swallowing it whole, much like he does when you throw her a scrap of food. It was pretty freaky. She must have like it though since she then climbed the tree in search of more

I walked back into my bedroom and knocked around a little more, made love to my wife, just stuff. Knowing that it was after 8:00, I thought I'd better terminate the dream and get ready for work.

When I opened my eyes, the clock said 7:00. What a suprise! My wife standing over me earlier was a false awakening.

13 May 2005 - Water and stress

I am going to have to start keeping a journal again. My dreamsigns have changed and for the last week my dreams have been pretty consitant, involving stress and water.

Last night, key elements:

Had to get to airport, was very late. Was still not at airport at departure time. Classic anxiety dream, don't know why it didn't cause lucidity.

Had to return rental car, could not find car and then could not get to airport. Was returning car by running to the airport. High stress. Like previous nights with WinCC problems and distributer meetings, very high level of stress. Should have caused lucidity.

Water again, Cumberland river in Harlan KY out of its banks, having to outrun the water in order to get to airport. Water blocking at some point and everywhere. Reminded me a lot of my Noahs Ark dream.

I read your first post and remembered a dream i had where I was franticly running from the feds when suddenly the entire landscapoe became coated in a pink color, suddenly I had calmed down....

This dream was very vivid as well, I wasnt lucid but I was thinking and stuff.

Seeker, are you drinking water beofre bed?/ Your body might be telling you have to go to the bath room... just kidding.hehe.

What is stressing you out? perhaps you coudl try to meditate before bed to relive some stress.

16 May, 2005 - I became god last night

I don't remember a lot of the setup for this dream, but I found myself in a parking lot with two friends. I know they were Alaurast78 and Weelie 309, even though it didn't look like them.

We were standing there waiting for something, when suddenly is happened.

Alaura and Wheelie becan to change, they began to take on a color similar to turquois, they were uniting with each other and with the universe.

I looked down and saw that I was assuming the texture of a brown and black spotted agate. The transformation continued and they were gone. Where I have no idea.

I felt such a sense of great peace and satisfaction, like my lifes goal has completed and I could now die and move on. The transformation completed and I realized that I had become a god, or perhaps escaped Samsara. I was perfected.

I smiled and disolved as well.

I found myself a day later in a room with people talking about the transformation that happed in the parking lot the day before. They were asking me if I witnessed it, I told them that I was one of the ones that was perfected.

They all kind of got wide eyed. They asked me where the other two went, I could not answer. All I could tell them was that they were now somewhere else.

Even as I write this, I am still feeling the extreme sense of happiness and peace that I experienced as I disolved.

Dunno what this mean, but it had a profound effect on me.

Another dream involving flooding again. Just wtf is going on with that!

Anyway, this was more like a false awakening than a normal dream. My wife got up this morning to get the kids off to school and let me sleep an extra half hour (thanks muffin!)

During this time, I dreamt. However I thought I was awake. The construction crew was hard at work on the house. Everything was pretty much as it was when I am awake. The solar room had dust on the floor, there were still three cindar blocks stacked outside the door that we are using as temporary steps. The backyard still had piles of dirt where we have not done the landscaping.

From the middle of the back yard and into the remaining 4 acres of our property was flooded and made a nice pond.(??? this should have triggered lucidity since WE DON'T HAVE A POND!!)

There were frogs, ducks, all kinds of litte guys in the pond. I decided I wanted to go swimming, but, since it was morning and I needed to get to work, I decided to forget about swimming and get ready for work.

From here on, it degenerated into randomness, like charter busses turning in the driveway in front of the house, rain, just clutter.

I don't know what is up with the water lately, there have been so many dreams with floods. Also, this is not the first time I have dreamt of having a pond on our property.

Water again last night, this time a river. Dould have been due to the fact that it was storming pretty hard!

8 hours of sleep, lots of disjointed dreams, I cannot remember much about any of them

21 May 2005 Long lucid dream, flying, and lucid task
First lucid dream in a long time. I found myself out walking around at night. It was pretty dark. I became lucid, I really don't remember what triggered it, but I immediately flew. I was flying over light polls and such when I remembered this months lucid task. I immediately landed and began looking for apples under the street lights. Suprisingly, I began to find them. I knew I would need some water in order to bob, so I formed a mud puddle under some of them and bobbed!
I then took off again and was worried that it would stay night the whole time. I like LDs better in full daylight, so I flew in circles. Every time I would come around facing the east, it would be a little brighter. Suddenly it was full daylight and I saw some power lines in the distance. These were the 8,700 volt residential lines, so I decided to fly up and land on one as I had seen birds do many times. Guess I am quite a bit heavier than a bird though since it began to sag down almost all the way to the ground.
I then flew to one of the really tall 500,000 volt lines and landed on it. It held!
I remember flying around for a little while longer and talking with DCs, but can't remember what we talked about. Eventually, a sense of extreme tiredness overcame me and I fell asleep. Guess my REM cycle was fading.

22 May 2005 Valley and wormhole
I don't know why, but I caught myself floating across a small valley that was forming on my property. It was because of all the underground caverns located there (dreamsign). I realized that I was dreaming, but somehow could not bring myself to focus my mind enough to lock full consciousness in. Bummer, lucidity faded and the dream absorbed me.
I remember walking to the back of my property to find that a new subdivision had been built there (dreamsign). I explore the new subdivision, but when I tried to return, everything had changed and I could not find my way home. (Anxiety, should have triggered LD).
I went into the front door of a house. I remembered that house since it was connected to another house on my property via wormhole (dreamsign). I had traveled using that route a number of times and remembered many details about it.
After returning home, things became indistinct. Cannot remember any more details.

23 May 2005 Running dream
I found myself at the mall looking for a friend. Could not find them and was getting pretty worked up about it. (anxiety, should have triggered). I remember going outside and beginning to jog around the mall looking for my friend. I was wearing an Olive drab karate robe with a matching belt.
As I jogged, I was getting angrier and decided to really work off some steam so I began running as fast as I could (dreamsign). As I finished the first lap, someone tried to give me some kind of self help book, but I ignored them as I ran bye. As I was completing the second lap, I woke up.

15 June 2005 - Sublucid dream.

I found myself in some kind of establishment. They were giving out free Lego toys. Lucius and Paperdoll were there.

Somehow, we discovered a way to modify the Lego toy such that is induced WILDs. We had a lof of fun with it, especially since part of the prelucid images involved arial acrobatics.

Several dreams last night, however the one that seems weirdest to me was this:

I found myself driving down the road in my car, my wife was in the passenger seat talking to me about something.

I looked down at my left arm and discovered a really elaborate tattoo done up in red and black. I can remember thinking to myself that I was going absolutely nuts since I didn't remember getting a tattoo. This one was large enough that it would have taken quite a lot of time and many visits to complete, not to mention some serious pain.

I wondered what other pieces of my memory were missing.

Don't know why this didn't cause me to become lucid, it was a classic example of finding oneself in a dream without any memory of past events.

This may be a little late, but in literary terms water symbolizes a rebirth of some sort. So I dunno, in a literary sense you are going through a rebirth phase. Maybe. I dunno, I usually BS to get my A in lit

Wow, I&#39;ve not posted in here in forever.

A little background. Sunday morning is a time for me to just lay in bed enjoying slipping into and out of REM filled sleep. I use the time from about 6:30-9:00 to practice my induction techniques so it is not at all uncommon for me to have lucids on this day.

This morning, I found myself laying in bed. It never dawned on me to question why my bed was different, why it was facing south instead of Northeast, and why the room was different. Yep, typical false awakening scenario.

The thing that made this one so freaky was that while in this false awakening, I dozed and had two high quality and one low level LD&#33; Pretty neat since upon awakening from each LD, I found myself back in the false awakening dreamscape.

The LDs were uneventful, however, I did take the opportunity to make my willy grow to almost porno star size. Don&#39;t know why, must have been all of that spam I&#39;ve been getting lately trying to sell me pills to do that. =P
