We'll I've started it. I cannot guarantee anything with this. They may be boring, twisted, interesting who knows? But they will be here, starting now. Feel free to comment, but dont go overboard.

Down the rabbit hole I go..

so i just got up after my first wild attempt. i was soo close i could taste it. i repeated my mantra 'i will perform my lucid checks' for 20 mins or so and then thought of other times when i was semi lucid. my body grew very heavy in a non heavy way lol, my heart started raaaacing and my eyes rolled back and involuntarily went into REM, at first i realised it was happeneing and got a tad excited which set me back a little but i kept at it. i reached out to someone with my mind and asked for help, i know they are are lucid dreamers and i could feel/ see thru the swirling patterns images of this person from my early memory beckoning for me to join her. But it was ruined. Thoughts of a story about the Rake kept popping into my mind and causing me to see eyes amongst the patterns leering menacingly. i tried to put myself on a floating cloud to take me away from them which worked for a time and i re entered REM state only to have it dashed again in the same way.

I was soo close. im going to re-attempt it in a few minutes and ignore these feelings. any opinions or comments are more than welcome. frankly im surprised i came so close with my first attempt.

[edit] i just realised that i was only asleep for a little under 4 hours yet i feel more rested than many full 8 hour sleeps. What on earth!?? Has anyone else experienced this?

Also i remember my last 2 dreams quite vividly and although one involved me living in a place that i havent lived for a year i didnt click and think maybe im dreaming. Althouhg i did dream of songs that were about lucid dreaming (in the dream) being prodigys firestarter lol. I must say its been an interesting few hours.

I was dreaming that I had to defend a castle with Mulder and Scully (lol) against a 100ft child and at one point I said to them "keep an eye out while I do an RC", i got halfway through counting my fingers and they were like "quick the kids attacking again!".
Naturally i stopped RCing to defend my castle.. --__--

SUCCESS!!!

Last night I tried to do another WILD but was unable to get past SP. I enjoyed it for a while, trying a few things like leaving my body but I just wasn't deep enough. I rolled over and went to sleep after some auto suggestion about becoming lucid.
Then sometime in the morning (not sure when I just woke up for no reason) I woke and thought it was time to attempt another WILD/ DIELD.
I lay on my back and went through my usual WILD steps. I became soo relaxed and almost lost conscienceness until BAM!

I was almost wrenched out of my body when I involuntarily jerked. I looked around and realised what had happened, performed an RC (which passed, but i already knew i was lucid anyway) then looked at myself sleeping.

YYYYYYEEEEEEAAAAAAHHHH!!!!!!!

I was absolutly ecstatic! I left my room and went to the bathroom to look in the mirror, which was one of my first goals as Im scared of mirrors. My reflection looked back at me, wearing my usual hoody and looking oddly normal. I left the bathroom and walked up the hallway to the master bedroom where I spoke to my parents and told them Im dreaming. I dont live with them but I guess I still associate the master bedroom with being where they should be at night lol. I then decided to try a few things. I tried to walk through a wall in front of me but it was virtually impossible. I gave up and thought about flying.. almost instantly I was catapulted into the air, but I was able to control it although I have no tangable memory of how.
I thought I would have to actively try to fly but the mere thought/ will worked instantly!
I flew around for a while over a forest and grassland. All the while a voice was asking me "Can you see it?" I knew they were talking about a certain raised part of the grassland which had some kind of indentation in the top. Upon landing on it it turned out to be a keyhole for which I had no key. Things started to fade then and I didnt remember to rub my hands together. I felt like I was on a train facing backwards for a moment then was back in my body.


I sat up like a bolt and did an immediate RC before trying to link it into another dream which failed.
I have just woken up and am in a state of super joyfulness. It was the most incredible thing Ive ever experienced. To see myself sleeping and know it was a dreamlike state, to be able to make conscience decisions to look in a mirror or talk to my parents. Then to fly over a most beautiful forest full of greens and browns and shade and light and leaves. To land on a hill with a keyhole and see the detail in the grass I looked at. The small flowers between the blades of grass almost motionless but with slight movement.
It was beautiful. I will return. Tonight.

Now I must set some goals for myself. This is the start of my second life in my dreams.
