Nightmares and Dreams

I haven't had an online dream journal in a while and i wanted to see what others thought of my dreams.
So I'll post a few dreams beginning a few days back :)



1) Standin’ on the Verge 3.28.09
Standing in the middle of a black road with green grass on either side I try to decide which way to go. I do not know which direction I came from, and I do not which way I was going. My dream switches out of first person, and the dream camera* sweeps by my head to show the two directions of the road. The camera also shows the clearness of the blue sky…
It was I short dream and I soon woke up to “Standin’ on the Verge” by Hardcore Superstar playing on Pandora Radio. (i have never heard of that song before that dream)

*dream camera- when my dreams are not shown in first person they are recorded with my dream camera.


2) Hardcore lifeguards 3.28.09
A plane crash brought us to a beach full of people.
Actually, it crashed in an airplane parking lot on a beach! Nobody noticed our crash, and everyone in the plane jumped into the ocean for some fun. I splashed around in the water for a while until an alarm began to go off. It was a signal that our plane was fixed. I ran past a fence to where the planes were parked.
“Hey, hey” a lifeguard stopped me, “this isn’t your plane! But, you need to hurry and find Nick* so that he can catch his plane!!!” (for some reason lifeguards were also pilots in this dream)
I turned around and sprinted back to the beach. Soon, I found myself running next to Nick on my way to the plane. Sadly, it had already taken off. I began to yell at the plane so that it would come back.
…it turned around, but it crashed on landing.
Nick turned to me.
“Hm…since we can’t get home now, what do we do?”
“HARDCORE LIFEGRUARDS!!!” I replied.
My dream switched to a music video where we were spelling out some words (which were all gibberish). The song we were playing sounded something similar to what Slipknot would play.
I did fall asleep with music that night, but i forgot to record what song was playing when i woke up. But i do remember that the song i woke up to was not related to my dream at all.

After the music video, my dream switched to a view of the nose of the plane. We flew over green mountains. They didn’t have any trees.

3) Monsters 3.29.09 (favorite dream this month) :)
In a kitchen with two other people whom I have never met, I stand in front of the refrigerator thinking of what I should do. The voice I hear tells me do something that I do not want to do. I turn over to the woman on my right, she says that she found a microphone hidden in the sink. I tell her that she wasn’t suppose to find that and now I have been given orders to kill her. I told the voice that I am not a killer. Whoever I was talking to accepted my choice, and brought the entire home into flames in order to kill all of us. We tried to escape the house, but there were creatures trying to enter through all of the windows and the doors. Running into the fire rather than away from it, we enter the basement which is flooded with water. Knowing that our only hope to survive for a fireman to fight his way through both the fire and the creature and rescue us. We wait. I bob up and down to get some air and sink down into my watery grave to hide from the creatures. I open my eyes underwater and i find it impossible to determine whose shadow is a monster and who is fireman we decide to wait no longer. I realize that there are no firemen in my house, only the creatures. They know that we in the basement and i can see their shadows getting closer to me.
As I swim down I fall out of the water and into a dark room. I stand up to find myself in a maze deep underground and I can hear the mob of monsters running towards me. Running left, right, right, left, right, left, left, left, right. I come to a room filled with stuffed animals. Hearing the monsters get closer I open a small closet with one doll sitting in it. Throwing open the door, I hide behind the doll. I close my eyes, hear the closet door squeak, and feel a hand rubbing the doll. I open my eyes to see that the monsters turned into little girls and that they are now playing with toys…


4) On an airplane 3.30.09
All I remember was sitting in a plane…
i should start using planes as dream signs

5) Myspace 3.30.09
I logged into myspace to see that my truth box was flooded with comments.

6) Texting 3.31.09
I was sitting in my room instant messaging a friend on AIM and texting another with my phone. The friend who I was instant messaging wanted me to go over to his house and the girl who I was texting wanted to come over to my house. I told the girl to go to my friends house and that I would be there soon.
…not a very exciting dream :(

7) Super Mario meets first person shooter? 3.31.09
My dream placed me on the edge of a forest. As I turned around I saw a campground where I began walking towards. There were about 4 or 5 cabins lined up next to each other with camp fires in front of them and I knew that one of those cabin is where my family is staying. I walked over to the third one and thought that I saw my dad sitting in a chair.
“Hey!”
“lol wut?” …it wasn’t my dad

My parents were sitting at the cabin next door to the one I was at. I began to walk over to them but one of my friends ran up to me and told me that he needed my help urgently. Bringing me to the forest I asked him what for but he didn’t give me a reply. And soon I found myself holding a shotgun and a pistol shooting away at little 8-bit (or 16-bit?) versions of Koopa Troopas and Goombas super mario brothers. I used a pistol throughout the entire ‘level.’

The boss stage brought us to a small square arena that was about the size of my bed. It was split into 2 halves. On one side was this green blob monster creature, and the other was an army of some other type of weird creatures.
To kill the green blob monster creature I kicked it with a knife attached to my shoe. It exploded.
Before we jumped to the other side we picked up weapons and ammo from a shelf located on the walls of the arena. When we jumped into the other side we began to blast all of the enemies with ease. The army consisted of Goombas, the Koopa Turtles, and green blobs.
I soon turned into a spider and my friend turned into a snake. We both lost our weapons and resorted to biting the bad guys. It was cool. Every time I bit an enemy he exploded :D
After we defeated all of them my friend said.
“Alright, time to go to the next level!”
“WTH? More of this crap?” was my reply
