      ~Higurashi Dreams~

      Welcome to my Dream Journal.

There aren't many people I can talk to about my dreams in waking life, and so I decided to share them with everyone here. Hopefully this will be one way of making sure I remain active on the site, and don't just "dissapear" like many people seem to do eventually.

Most(if not all) of the dreams posted here will be lucid, being that I rarely have vivid dreams. I wouldn't want to bore anyone, so I'll tend to refrain from posting all of my dreams of the night unless I find something interesting in them.

      Lucid entries are in Blue.
      Non-Lucids will be in Green.
Nightmares will appear in Dark Red.
      Comments/Commentary will be in black.

      Any comments are very welcome

      The Block Party
I open my eyes. I'm aware that I'm in the parking lot of my highschool, though I have no idea how I got there, or why I'm there. A bit nervously, I begin to wander around. After a bit of walking, I see a neighborhood. Not knowing what else to do, I enter it. It's a nice, surburban neighborhood, and the street that I'm walking on ends in a cul-de-sac. I can make out a van and some teenagers surrounding it. I think the kids may be from my school, so I go towards them more enthusiastically. Though I'm still confused, at least I'm not alone. I reach the van, and a man reaches his head out of the window. It's Tim Gunn, the fashion guru.
"O...M...G." he exaggerates. "I didn't expect to see you here!"
I smile, shyly. I'm can't remember him well, though I feel we knew eachother well sometime in the past.
He grins at me, and motions towards the other children. "Don't just stand there, talk to the other kids. Mingle!"
I look at the kids there. I would guess about eight people total. They're all from my school, though I don't know any of them that well. I'm about to go over there when I see Catherine and her boyfriend. My heart sinks.
I take a step back, and Catherine glares at me. She takes Heath's hand, and the two of them stray from the group, obviously wanting to get away from me.
I want to leave now. I look at Tim. "Sorry," I apologize. "But I'm really not even supposed to be here." I laugh, nervously. "I'm just trying to get directions back to my house. I don't know where I am honestly, I have no idea what I'm doing here-"
I look down during my ramblings, and notice for the first time what I'm wearing. A T-shirt, swimming trunks, and flip flops. I slowly realize that I'm wearing what I had on at my house. I never remembered going from my house to the school. Something's wrong...

I am now lucid. I happily look up at Tim. "Nevermind, I can stay."
I go back to the kids. Strangely, it seems like there's more than I remember from before...probably around thirty now. I spot my friend Amonee in the crowd, and she beckons to me. The sky darkens, and it looks like someone's shooting fireworks. I don't pay attention to it and reach Amonee. Music begins to play.
"You can totally break out into the electric slide any time now," she jokes.
      I laugh. "Yeah, right."
I start to feel squished...I look around, and I must have been surrounded by about two hundred people. Me and Amonee move to the front.
I see that somehow a giant stage has appeared out of nowhere. Noone's on it, but there are humongous speakers on both sides of it. When I look back from the stage, I see my other friends Kimberly, Malika & Sarika, and Rui. They all come up to me and compliment Amonee on the party. I'm wondering why Tim isn't getting any credit...I'm about to go off to look for him when the Electric Slide bursts out of the speakers. The sudden music startles me, and I turn to the stage.Countless fireworks are lighting the sky now. Everyone starts cheering. Once I turn back around, everyone is lined up in perfect rows, getting ready to dance to the song. I tell Kimberly that I have to go. She begs me to stay, to dance with them. I look around, and wonder if I should be looking for Tim. I turn to Kimberly. It does look pretty fun...I roll my eyes, and join her.

      I Think I Can, I Think I Can(Pre-Dream)
I am lying in my bed, aware that I am in a dream. I close my eyes, and try to teleport to my school.
      I find that I cannot.
I forget about that for now, and look out the window. A dark, starry night. I try to summon some lightning. For some reason, I can hear the crack, though I can't see the bolt...
Next I try to turn the lights on. Knowing that lights don't usually work in lucids, I used my mind rather than the lightswitch. It wouldn't come on.
I sighed, and realized I had little power here.
I looked around my room, frustrated, wondering what I was supposed to do with such limited control?
I went downstairs, and did a few reality checks, simply for amusement. I was alone.
I sat in a chair, and closed my eyes.
I focused extremely hard on my highschool, and willed myself to teleport. My eyelids are squeezing together, and I almost don't want to open them, afraid that I will fail again.
      Suddenly, my mind goes blank.

[The Pre-Dream actually occurred before the first dream I posted. However, I found "The Block Party" to be a much better opening

I found it strange that I lost all remembrance of lucidity when I was finally able to teleport to school. Perhaps putting so much energy into that one task wiped my memory? Or maybe I was just in a different dream. This seems unlikely to me though, since I can't ever remember having consecutive dreams branch off of eachother, if that makes sense. None of my dreams have ever been a continuation of a previous dream.

Also, the reason I became lucid after looking at my clothes was because that's what I had been wearing when I was lucid at my house in the Pre-Dream.

I went to bed around 3am and remembered nothing today.

I was planning on attempting the WILD since it was already so late, but I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pillow.

Tonight I'm going to bed around nine, so hopefully I'll do better.

Luckily I've only dreamt once about Higurashi. A bloody Shion was standing over my bed with a hammer and nails

      The Voice
I am above an ocean, hovering high in the air. Some force is controlling me, keeping me there.
      I am instantly afraid.
A powerful voice makes itself heard, seemingly booming from the clouds.
"Let me show you all that I can create..."
The wind is frantic, I can't believe I haven't fallen into the water. I begin to notice that the waves are getting higher.
      "What?" I'm very confused.
"But first, I must show you all I can destroy..."
The waves are rising still, and the wind is only moving faster.
      "Please, don't." I think I might cry.
The waves keep getting higher and higher...
      "Stop...I'm afraid!"

Just as I think the waves will cover me, the dream ends.

Hey guys, sorry I haven't been posting, haven't been lucid in a while. I wasn't really dreaming about anything interesting over the past few days, so I decided to type this one up. It must have happened a few months ago.

It was pretty scary, I didn't go back to sleep that night. Though I still wonder what I might have seen if I hadn't gotten scared.
Ah well, maybe I just would have drowned

      Survival Camp
I'm inside of a dark shack, standing in a line. The line extends far beyond the shack, though for some reason I am told to come to the front. This extremely buff guy is sitting in a chair next to the line. He tells me to get a t-shirt and put it on. I look down and there is a box next to my feet. Rummaging around, I see that all the t-shirts are bloody.

      "NEXT!"

      I look up.
A teenage boy is on the ground. He drags himself across the floor, next to me. He's coughing up blood, and it spills all over his t-shirt. He takes it off and puts it in the box.

      "I said NEXT!"

Zac Efron stands in front of him, trying not to make eye contact.

      "Somethin' wrong PRETTY BOY?"

Zac bites his lip, and shakes his head.
The man laughs. He spits on his palms and rubs them together.
He leans back, and punches him in the stomach with all his might.
Zac doubles over in pain, and begins to cough up blood. He hugs himself, and falls to the ground.
      The man laughs.
He looks my way and motions for me to come.
I walk towards him, and he spits on his palms.
The boys push me towards him, and he pulls me the rest of the way.
I'm wearing one of the bloody t-shirts out of the box, though I don't remember putting one on.
He leans back, and curls one hand into a fist.
Confused and afraid, I push Zac onto him as he begins to stand.
Both of them scream, and the man falls backwards out of the chair and hits his head against the wall. Zac groans, and the man begins to shake uncontrollably.
I run out of the shack, and stumble into the darkness of the night.
He's yelling after me, and I look back. He's turned into some sort of wolf-man, and he's bursting out of his clothes.

      "You can't escape SURVIVAL CAMP!!"

      Robo-Arena
I'm in an extremely large domed building, and the floor is made up of countless blue pentagonal tiles. The walls and ceiling are a lighter shade of blue. I can't be sure, but I think I'm in space.
My muscles feel tight, so I flex my arms. I gasp. I notice that there are metallic structures attached to my hands and arms. It's the same for the rest of my body, I am entirely covered in a robotic exoskeleton.
I look around, and see about 100 other people in the dome with similar suits to my own. It seems they're all fighting. I know though that they're actually training. I know that like me, they just received their "new bodies".
I want to train with them, to test this body's limits, but I can feel that the dream is fading. I decide then to just observe my surroundings for now, exert little energy in hope of extending the dream a bit.
I look down at my hands and move my fingers around, get used to my suit. I randomly press down on my palm, and to my surprise a web shoots out of my wrist. It's a funny feeling and I laugh. I push my middle and ring fingers to my palm, and once again a stream of webbing is released. I think it strange that my robotic body is equipped with a web shooter.
I scrap my previous idea and go ahead and have some fun. I aim towards the wall opposite myself and shoot my web. When it hits the surface I get a good hold on it, and pull back until the substance begins to stretch. Next I lean forward and release the webbing, projecting myself through the air. After a few seconds in free fall I let loose another stream, though I'm too late and fall on my back in the middle of the room. I keep trying. Through trial and error, I manage to get the hang of web swinging before the dream ends.

      Him
I am in the center of a dark, spacious room. In the dim light, I can make out a shallow pool of water directly in front of me and a door. Besides me, there is a pile of clothes, and in my hand is a bar of soap. Other than this, the room is empty. I am washing clothes in the pool, taking one piece of clothing at a time and dipping it in the water. I hum a made-up tune as I wash his clothes. The door opens abruptly, and I freeze. I quiet myself. He loudly steps across the room, his footsteps echoing menacingly. He stops behind me, and does nothing. He does nothing but watch me wash. It drives me insane, the way he does nothing but stand there, though I know I have no say in what he can and cannot do. I wash his clothes. He watches. It remains like this in the tense atmosphere until the dream ends.

We never spoke, though I knew this was the man called Walms.

[This was the first time I dreamt of another DreamViews member...though I'm sure Walms is neither a scary man nor a slaveowner ]

      Survival of the Fittest
I am sitting at my kitchen table, using my mother's laptop. I hear some noise in the living room and turn my head.
There is a scientist, he is surrounded by animals. Two wolves are insulting eachother and fighting, while the scientist and the other animals simply watch. I ask him what's going on. He tells me that he's collected every known animal and making them fight to the death, so that he may gather their genes and create some kind of "superbreed".
      A wolf howls.
We both look back to the two fighting ones, and see that one is bruised and bloodied, lying on the floor. He's panting heavily with his tongue out of his mouth. The superior wolf slowly walks over to him and places his paw on his head. Using one of his claws, he plucks the eye out of the defeated wolf, and it rolls across the floor to me and the scientist. The scientist steps on the eye, and I somehow feel just a bit of life leaving me, as if that were my own eye beneath his foot. He laughs, and the winning wolf asks if he may eat the other. The scientist agrees to this. The wolf snarls and tears out his throat, and the scientist huddles two baby deer into the center of the room, and tells them to fight. They glance at eachother and begin to cry. He yells for them to fight. Still crying, they begin to attack eachother with their forelegs. I can't stand the sight of this, I'm extremely upset and distraught now due to the fact that the deer are so young, and tell him that he's insane and attempt to leave the room. A wooden door slides across from one of the walls and traps me inside. The scientist tells me that he cannot allow me to leave, as I have also got a battle to fight. I wonder if he'll really make me kill an animal, and for the first time I notice a dirty girl huddled in the corner of the room.

      ~

A 'camera' then pans across the 'scene'. The floor is strewn with dead animals and the scientist is obliviously standing in the center of them. He counts the animals remaining. They are lined up against the wall. I remember seeing multiple wolves, a rabbit, and one of the baby deer, who now has a broken leg. I do know though that there were other animals. I also remember that the girl was sitting against the wall, implying that I had lost at my test.

[Might not sound like much of a nightmare, but you didn't have to watch animals slaughter eachother

I also classify this as a nightmare due to the implication that I was murdered.

Dream Guide Kitties are a BAD IDEA
I am in my grandmother's kitchen, instantly aware that I am dreaming. I look around and no one’s there. I also check the garage, and none of my family is there either. On my way back into the kitchen, I remember that I had wanted to create a dream guide, a cat. I go in the living room and notice a black purse on a table. I extend my hand and the purse transforms into a male black cat. It doesn't move, but sits atop the table and stares at me with large yellow eyes. Extremely excited, I run to him and pick him up, holding him close to my face and smiling.
When all of the sudden, he paws my face and bites me on the shoulder!
I'm so shocked that I drop him, and he runs about 5 feet in front of me. I can't believe he just bit me, but still - though carefully - I walk towards him again, determined to befriend this cat. He stares at me. I reach my arms out, asking him to come, when literally out of nowhere an orange cat jumps from behind him and digs his claws into my neck. I scream, and the surprising force knocks me to the ground. I bang my head on the table on the way down and hide my face behind my hands, rolling around on the floor as this cat attacks me. Eventually I'm able to get a hold of it and I throw it about ten feet across the room. It turns and hisses, and as I struggle to my feet it almost instantly runs back across the room. When it's about halfway from me, it leaps into the air, no doubt aiming for my face. I would never hurt an animal, but I have no choice.
I kick it as it closes in on me, and if flies through the air, hitting a wall.
It flops lifelessly to the floor, letting out a pitiful "meow", before the strangest thing happens. It stiffens, it's paws and tail frozen in the air. I hesitantly go closer and realize that this is a stuffed kitten. I gently lift its head and some kind of grainy substance - sawdust, maybe - falls out of his mouth. Confused and tired, I collapse on a sofa nearby. I realize the black cat from before is nowhere to be seen. My dream body aches terribly, and I lay on the sofa contemplating my failure until the dream ends.

[I was owned Things definitely didn't go as I expected them to.

This is the first time I remember being able to feel pain in a dream, and I can guarantee I won't forget.

I won't give up though...hopefully my next lucid attempt is a success.

      The Trouble with Drugs
I kick the soccer ball to Robert, and he makes it in the goal. The crowd stands on their feet cheering for him, and we win the game. Everyone surrounds him, congratulating him, and they walk off to their cars to go home. I'm terribly angry. What about me? I think. Where's my praise? I stomp off to my mothers car, alone. I walk past the gate and end up in one of those large parking units. There are many different levels to it, and they continue far above and below ground. I start walking down a ramp into one of the lower leveled sections when I see my mother. She’s talking with a girl, Alexis, and her mother. It looks like the conversation is going pretty enthusiastically…No doubt Alexis’s mom saw me playing and is telling my mom how me and her daughter go to the same school. I don’t want to risk having to meet her, so I step back away from view, and retrace my step back to the entrance. After a bit of walking, I realize that I’m still below ground. There’s a floor above me, and I can grab the railing from here. I climb up and walk out of the door on that floor, thinking that it should lead me back to the soccer field. Instead, I find yet another section for parking.

The lighting is low, and I can hear my footsteps echo. I go back through the door, and jump back down to the lower floor. I walk back to where I saw my mom, but she’s not there anymore. Instead, I see an old man. He’s wearing a black waistcoat with a top hat and cane, and he has long, wispy gray hair. He starts walking towards me. I turn my back to him, and walk forward. I can hear his footsteps echoing behind mine. I get a little worried, and tell myself that I’m just being paranoid, that he’s not following. That it’s not strange for us to be going in the same direction. Just to prove to myself that he’s not following me, I climb up a railing. It’s harder this time to pull myself up, and I start to freak out seeing that he’s getting closer, and I’m still not on the floor above him. I pull myself harder, much harder, and I am finally able to pull myself on the other side of the railing. Just as my legs are coming across, I feel a sharp pain shooting up my leg. The old man has hit me with his cane. I turn my head to him, and he looks at me with evil eyes.
“You know,” he says in a scratchy voice. “You pot smokers really piss me off!”
In the very next instant, he has thrown himself over the ledge, and is on the same floor as me.
      Now, I run.
He’s chasing me, he’s extremely fast. I’m scared out of my wits, I have no idea why this stranger is attacking me, or why he thinks I’ve done drugs.
“Wait!” I yell as I run.
      He doesn’t slow his pace.
      “I’ve never even smoked!”
      “You’re all troublemakers!”
Eventually I see a light. I frantically run towards it, desperate for an exit. As soon as I get outside, the old man disappears. I pant, and look around me. He’s nowhere to be found.
Until I turn the corner of the structure.
I see him in front of a dumpster bin, standing with his head down and both hands resting on his cane.
“You…rotten…pot smokers…” Each word is accented with anger and hatred.
I take a step back. He begins to shake, and presses his hands to his head, as if in pain. He leans back and falls in the dumpster bin. I stand there for a second, confused, but almost instantly he reemerges.
This time larger than a house.
He has become a large, blue-green mass with countless tentacles, which he uses to push himself forward. He coming full speed ahead towards me. I fall back on the ground, too frightened to move.
Suddenly, someone comes up behind me and puts their hand on my shoulder. It is a girl, about my age. She looks at me and smiles. She then looks at the monster that the old man has become, and walks towards him. He stops, though I cannot tell if he sees her as he has no eyes. She steps in front of him, and the two of them stand there, silent and motionless. For a moment, I think she has somehow tamed this beast. That however, was not the case. He jolted back to life, wrapping his tentacles around her arms. He lifts her in the air, and forcefully ripped them from her body. She dropped to the hard concrete, lifeless.

I become lucid. The monster has spotted me on the ground, and makes his way towards me once more. I throw my hands over my face. “Wake me up!” I scream to nothing, “Wake me up! Wake me up!” The dream fades, and I become aware I am back in my bed.

[I have a clear visual of that old man...I'll have to post some pictures later on, I can see him perfectly by combining certain faces. I also know I have a picture of something very similar to the monster he turned into.

I wonder who that girl was...

      The Vampire Doll
I am ducking under a table in a dark haunted house, my three friends hiding in various other places in the same room. A door about seven feet ahead of me creeks open and a tiny, male baby doll is standing in the doorframe with a malicious grin on his scarred face. His shadow flickers against the hallway wall, visible by an unseen source of light. Everyone in the room holds their breath. He walks slowly, towards the table where I have tried to conceal myself. He's close enough now that I can see something in his hands...I can't tell if it's a wooden straw or a blowdart. He looks straight to where I'm hiding, is it possible he sees me? As if in response to my thoughts, he chuckles. He then turns his body away from me, though he's still standing in the same spot. Before him is a large and half-closed wardrobe. He lifts the wooden pipe to his mouth, and sucks in a huge gust of air, enough that I can literally see the air flowing into his mouth. He lets it out with a sudden huff, and darts shoot out of the pipe! They all go into the open crack in the wardrobe, and I hear a stifled scream. One of my friends falls out of the wardrobe and lands in at his feet. The doll points his pipe towards his crumpled body, and begins to inhale. Blood seeps through the top of the body, eventually ripping into the air in a forceful, curving stream that leads in the doll's pipe. As more and more blood enters the pipe, he drinks. However strange, this doll is no doubt a Vampire. He turns his head back at my hiding place and smiles. As if he were playing with me! His bloodsucking display and disgusting grin make me gasp, and whether or not he knew about my hiding under the table before, he knows now. In an instant movement, he brings the pipe to his mouth and shoots multiple darts in my neck. I cringe, and yell openly. He begins to suck in my blood, when my two other friends jump from their hiding places and run towards the door. He turns his head while still drinking in my blood, though he doesn't stop them from leaving the house. He stares again at me, with hatred in his eyes, and the scene fades.

      ~

My consciousness has shifted. I am one of the friends, running away from the house. We run in silence, though panting along the way. Every now and then, we feel a sudden pain sear through our legs or back. As if the Vampire Doll stands in front of the house, still attempting to kill us with his darts...

      Grandmother Fragment
My deceased Grandmother is chasing me through a number of scenes - my school, her home, the woods - with the sole intention of harming me. When we reach my house, I am tired of running. I stay where I am, in the middle of the room, expecting her to make an appearance. She jumps from behind a corner and laughs, out of breath.
"Ha," she says triumphantly. "I've got you now!"
      I don't move. "I'm sorry."
"...What?" Her smile fades, and her posture relaxes.
      "Whatever I did...I'm sorry."
Her eyes stray away from me, and it seems she's slowly coming to terms with my apology. She walks tiredly towards me, and turns to face the piano besides me. She picks up a picture on the top of the piano, and cradles it gently in her hands.
I stand beside her and look at the photo. Her mother.
"She was so beautiful," she says softly. Tears begin to quietly run down her cheeks. "I do miss my mother!"
      I start to cry. "I'm...sorry..." I repeat, "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."
We stay that way, side by side, for a while. Her reminiscing on the goodness and beauty of her mother, myself continuously apologizing, and the both of us shedding tears until the dream begins to fade.

      Your Friendly Neighborhood Robber
I'm lying in bed, when all of the sudden I hear the sound of breaking glass. I jump up. Though frightened, I slowly move towards the front of the house to try and discover what caused the noise. When I get to the living room I see a boy, about my age. He's in the kitchen, running his hand under the table. I gasp, and his head jerks up. We look at eachother, though I can't quite see his face in the darkness. I glance over to the lightswitch and his eyes follow mine. I run to it, with the intent of seeing the boy trying to steal from me. He realizes what I'm doing and runs into the next room. We play cat-and-mouse like this for a few minutes: with myself running to turn the lights on in the room the boy is in, the robber then running into the next room, and turning the lights off as we pass rooms we'd previously been in. Eventually, he slips back through the broken window and runs away. Out of breath, I look after him as he disappears from sight. I remember the table - what was he doing over there...? I went into the kitchen and hesitantly knelt at the edge of the table, lowering my head underneath it and looking up at the bottom. Stuffed under one of the legs, were multiple hundred dollar bills!-

I wake up and look around me- I'm right back in my bed. What a strange dream! I reach under my pillow to write it down in my dream journal, when I feel something lumpy. I pull out the object, a manilla envelope...I open it. With shaky hands, I reach inside and pull out around 50 hundred dollar bills.

      ~

The morning bell rings, school has begun. I pick up my instrument and take it to the bandroom, where I find Amonee.
"Hey," she waves with her laid back smile.
      "Hey..." I repeat absentmindedly.
      "What's up with you, huh?"
I sigh, and relate the crazy incident that took place the night before.
Amonee laughs, and it offends me. She notices my frown. "Dude! Okay, I probably should have told you...but yeah, I sent that guy to your house. His name is Stephen, by the way."
My eyes squint in shock and frustration. "What for?! He scared the crap out of me Amonee-"
She shakes her head and waves my comments away as if she were shooing flies. "No, you don't understand- he's a good thief!" She held up her hand as I was about to protest. "Yeah, he steals something from you, but in return he leaves you money!"
I roll my eyes to the ceiling and stand there, trying to control my aggravation. A few moments later I throw my backpack to the ground and start shuffling through it. "Amonee..." Annoyed, I find what I was looking for: the manilla envelope. I hand it to her, and she opens it, pulling out the bills. "The money is fake."
She turns it over in her hand, eyeing is suspiciously. "Hm," she says at last. "Tough beans, huh?"
      I yell.

      ~

It's nighttime. I'm crouched behind the sofa with a flashlight, waiting for him, feeling like a predator. Whether he's good or not, he's a thief. And I won't let him get away. I have to see him...Soon enough, I hear the crash of another window. He walks in carefully, though I still hear his footsteps on the remnants of the shattered glass. Tightening my grip on the flashlight, I jump from my hiding spot. He gasps, turning quickly so that the light beams only across blondish brown hair. In an instant, he is out through the window, and I'm following him. We're running, running, and I'm ever so close. Somehow we've ended up far away from any housing, running now on gravel. I'm so close, I could almost touch him. I'm about to grab his shirt, when the dream abruptly ends.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Robber, Part II
I hear the crunch of the gravel, I feel the wind blowing across my face...I have returned to the scene of my last dream- which means I'm flagging down a robber! I regain my sight, and make out his form in the dark. Finding my arm outstretched towards him, I instantly jerk it back and come to a complete halt. Realizing I'm alone in the night, with a thief all but an inch in front of me, in the middle of nowhere, I am immediately afraid. His head turns in my direction when he's a few yards ahead of me and he gradually slows to a stop, seeing I've ceased chasing him. Does he know I fear him...? I don't wait to find out, and scream to be woken up.

[I can't believe I wasted a lucid! That's still frustrating me. But, I was very afraid...Reading over this it may not seem frightening, but that's completely different from experiencing it. The atmosphere during the times the robber was in the same room as me was unbearable.

And Amonee would totally do something like that

      "The Pots...They Talk!"
My aunt Aisha is lazily lying across the sofa, watching Pinocchio. "Collin!" she calls, "Alexis...!"
My sister and I obediently rise from our places at the table. "Yes?"
She gives a heavy sigh before continuing, and places her hand to her forehead. She seems to be getting ill, but I have a feeling it's all theatrics. She looks us over with half-closed eyes. "Let's play a game."
Alexis and I jump like little children. "A game, a game!"
She hushes us. "Ok...go back to the table..." We rush back, and await instructions. She frowns, and looks down at a large book next to her leg. "Whoever sits on this dictionary first wins."
I push my sister aside (who seems very unenthusiastic about the game, all of the sudden) and bounce on top of the dictionary. "I win!" I proclaim victoriously. "What's my prize?"
She looks past my head at my sister. "Alexis, do the dishes." She pouts, and my aunt only shrugs. "Collin won."
I cheer, and stick my tongue out at Alexis.
"Oh, and Collin? You fix the dinner."
My attitude immediately sours. "What? But...but I won the game!"
"Look," my aunt says angrily. "I'm certainly not doing it. You do want to eat, don't you?" She coughs, and her expression softens. "Go in the pantry, and you can have whatever you like."
This lifts my spirits a little, and I skip to the pantry. Fully opened, I view its contents and groan. Nothing but spinach. Blech. I turn to look at my aunt, but she's completely into her movie. With an annoyed huff of breath, I take the cans of spinach out of the pantry and place them on the counter next to the oven. I begin to take out pots, many pots, and dump all of the spinach into them. Whenever I see a pot isn't full, I pour some water into it. Soon all of the pots are filled to the brim, and a quick flame bursts beneath them as I turn on the stove.
"Spinach?" says a female voice. "You can't really want spinach?"
I gasp. "Who said that?" I question shakily.
      "I did, of course..."
I look down at the pots. Their lids rise and lower, akin to human mouths.
"Lexi!" I call, feeling half-mad. "The pots...they talk!"
She won't even look over. I suppose she's still mad about having to wash the dishes. "Get back to work," she grumbles.
"Is something the matter, darling?" questions the female pot.
"No..." I assure shyly. "It's just that I've never spoken to a pot before!"
"Never spoken to a pot?" This voice is deep, obviously male. "How rediculous!"
I don't pursue his argument, though delve into a more interesting topic. "Please...how is it that you talk?"
      "OUCH!"
I jump, and notice a shaking pot on the back burner.
      "What's happened?" I ask.
"There's too much water in me!"
      I stare at it, dumbly.
He speaks viciously. "What happens to water when it boils? It rises, and bubbles- When there's too much water in a pot, it overflows...the water slides down the sides of the pot, and when it reaches the fire, the fire leaps! It licked my sides! It burned me!"
"I'm very sorry..." I timidly console. However, I was curious. "Though, isn't the fire always touching you-"
"I bet you purposely burned me," the bitter pot spewed. "How would you liked to be burned?!" The tiny flame underneath him leaped.
      "Please, I'm sorry!"
All of the sudden, the entire kitchen was in a blaze! Fire was sliding along the walls, eating at everything in sight. I helplessly threw my hands to my face, knowing I would surely burn.

[I was saved by my mom in this one . She turned on the light in my room (in waking life) just before I burned to death.

Anyway, this dream made me think of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland for some reason...well, I was doomed to dream of something similar at one point. For the past two weeks that's all I've been reading, that and it's sequel. I was very childlike here, and my aunt was very slothful. Two things that are very false in reality, by the way.

Also, I'm getting better at remembering dialogue .

      School Lucid
I’m in the bathroom located in the cafeteria, about to use one of the urinals. All of the sudden, the one I’m standing in front of begins to sink down the wall. Other guys in the bathroom start to look in my direction. I laugh nervously and shrug, not knowing what else to do. Soon enough, it completely falls off of the wall and crashes to the floor, spilling the liquid contained inside of it everywhere. The guys burst into laughter and everyone gets rowdy, I hear a few “Oh!”s and “Dude!”s of excitement. Even a few girls stray into the restroom to see the cause of such a commotion.
“You’re gonna have to clean that up…” one of them says to me.
“Yeah, I know.” I walk over to the toilet paper holder and rip off a few wads of paper towels.
“Did you know,” says a boy in the crowd, “that the school’s toilet water turns black when it reacts with the chemicals on the floor?”
My brows furrow. “No it doesn’t…”
Looking down, I jump back in disgust when blackness spreads around my shoes.
“Clean it up already!” A bucket is thrown at me, and hits me in the back.
I turn around to find an old Asian man with a thin mustache and tiny goatee, clothed in a patterned red and black robe. He’s obviously angry, nearly fuming.
I blush angrily, and lose my temper. “I’m not your slave- no!” In an instant his foot is deep into my stomach – I’m suspended above the ground and pinned against the wall. I won’t give up. “You want to fight? LET’S GO THEN!” The next thing I know I’m flying out of the bathroom and soaring through the cafeteria. I land next to one of the far tables and randomly think to myself:
I wonder if I should do a reality check?

Plugging my nose, I find I can breathe. Though excited, I stay calm because I know the dream will end if I do otherwise. I stand up, and look around the cafeteria, appreciating how real this feels-
      “Hey Collin!”
I turn around, and see my friend Alex at the table nearest myself. I smile, “Hey Alex.” I walk over and sit down beside him. I raise my eyes to his once I’m properly seated at the table, and see that somehow he’s transformed into Alexis, another friend of mine. I ignore this change – as it doesn’t bother me much – and I immediately begin conversation on what occurred in the bathroom. “It was so disgusting!” I finish, retelling the horror of black toilet water. For dramatic effect I grab her shoulders and gently shake her as I make a face.
She giggles. “You might not want to touch me like that.”
      “What?”
“My boyfriend’s right over there,” she points.
I look in the direction she’s pointing. A dark-skinned, buff black guy is frowning menacingly at me from across the table. I realize that from outside the conversation, either I’d appear to be attacking her or trying to make love to her.
I give a weak and frightened smile, slowly removing my grip. “My bad...”
      Alexis laughs.

[Wow. A DILD? What a rare occurrence. This is my third(or fourth or fifth), I believe .

This dream was interrupted by my alarm clock, however .

I was lucid last night (strangely my third one in a row, even stranger it was another DILD) but I won't post the dream today.

But I'll say, it was amazing...personally, at least. The whole concept of what I was able to achieve in the lucid was very interesting, and the way I achieved it involved something I had never thought of before. I think I might even put in the dream gallery...

I'll post it Friday :content Actually, I'll be gone on Friday, so here it is below.

ALSO, I do not actually think I traveled from the dream world to waking life(in the dream below)...that was just the idea going on in my dream.

      Traveling to Waking Life~
Matt and I are sitting in my driveway with our hands pressed upon the warm cement, relaxing in the late summer air. His arms are stretched behind him, supporting the rest of his body, while his legs spread apart on the concrete. He leans his head back and closes his eyes, taking in the sun. I lazily rest beside him in a similar fashion. Leaves fall from the towering trees surrounding us, and everything alive seems to be a golden brown. A particularly strong gust of wind quickly kisses our faces, and strangely, it seems to be carrying a faint male voice. I could swear...it is calling my name.
I stir, a bit unsettled. "Matt," I whisper. "Did you hear that...?"
He opens his eyes. "What, Collin?"
"I could have sworn...someone called my name..."
His eyes widen in mock horror.
"Really," I persist. "I heard it- listen!"
A breeze passes us again. Ever so quietly, the voice in the wind utters my name a second time. He hears it now, and smiles. "You were right," he admits shamelessly. "Maybe you're dreaming?" He doesn't mean it, but I quietly reflect on this statement.

I turn this idea over in my mind. Suddenly then, I jerk my head up. "Of course. I am dreaming!" I turn to Matt, who has closed his eyes again, and decide to leave him be. Besides, I want to find the voice.

I hear it again, and I begin on the road towards the direction of the wind. I have to strain to pick up any trace of the voice, but it's definitely there. Whoever it belongs to won't stop calling my name.

I begin to pick up speed. I'm running in the middle of the empty road, when something strange happens. It seems I'm running in place - I realize that I'm not moving anywhere, everything else is. All the world is flowing backwards while I remain in the same spot. The only thing that stays the same other than myself, is the wind.

Soon the "world" begins to fade. Everything around me is becoming increasingly dark. It's like a roll of film, almost - When there's nothing else to be seen, I'm left only with a black void. In this void all things seem to echo: my breathing, my footsteps, even my heartbeat. But driven by the voice, I am not afraid. It feels like I'm here forever, running.

Eventually, a new scene begins to form. Somehow, I know that I have gone through the process of changing worlds.

While contemplating this, I trip and land on my hands and knees. Looking up, I find myself in a crowded closet. Directly on the other side of the door I hear the voice, and know its source is there. I get to my feet and push the door, unintentionally phasing through and landing in a boy's bedroom.

He's about the same age as me. His bed is pushed into a corner, and he's sitting up against a wall holding his blanket so that it covers all but his face. His mouth slowly closes, as I suppose he was going to call my name again. We both stare at eachother, and he is the first to break eye contact.

He somewhat hesitantly looks me over, from top to bottom. I then begin to take notice of myself, and realize how differently I appear emerging from the darkness in between "worlds". I seem a spirit or a ghost almost, a sort of hologram. I didn't even think I would be tangible. I also notice that my feet hover about an inch above the floor. Looking back to him, I find it in myself to speak.

"What did you call me for?"

He doesn't answer, and I don't push him to. We stare at eachother with wondering eyes, until the dream fades.

      This dream was so beautiful to me ;_;

I loved the concept and action of changing worlds, and the black nothingness that rested between them. In the dream, I felt that I had literally traveled from the dream world to waking life, though of course I think differently now that I've been awakened. Still, it all felt so real...I only wish the boy had said something.

Obviously, I've decided now to include any personal commentary of dreams in a succeeding post. This has been done because I simply don't like the way it looks :/

      Scattered Lucid, Task Attempt
      ……….

      “You know what would suck?”
      Cara looked at me. “What?”
“If we got our school changed back again.”
She groaned, and I looked around in the halls of our new school. It definitively would be a shame if the old one was returned to us. The student body had done something heroic recently, and this was our reward.
“God, I hope they don’t screw us over like that.” We came to her locker. “See you later!”
As I went to find mine, my body began feeling strange. It was a gradual, and very disturbing, feeling. I couldn’t quite place what it was, and I tried to ignore it. I walked a little faster, sensing that something was creeping upon me - when suddenly it became clear:

      I had two bodies.

I now realized that I was in a dream. I could only faintly feel my dream body, and was becoming highly aware of my real body, in bed. I was slipping away, being pulled closer and closer to waking life. Until it seemed the dream was only my imagination. Knowing I had little time left I ran to the lockers and threw myself upon them, hoping to salvage the dream by feeling everything possible and making this world real. It was working…I placed both of my hands among the walls, the floor, myself, anything in sight. It finally paid off, and I was stably back in the dream. I smiled, and with nothing else to do commenced to finding my locker. I walked a bit, and found an empty one on the top row. I turned the dial using my real life combination, hoping to find donuts inside. I opened it and pulled out a box from Krispy Kreme.

      ……….

I’m in the school greenhouse, and notice there’s now a sort of living room area off to the side: with a sofa, television, a computer on a table w/ a swivel chair. My mom and aunt are on the sofa watching TV, and a girl named Kensey is on the computer. I place my box of donuts on the table and walk around. Suddenly I think of completing the task of the month. What was it? I see a girl walking past me with a flower in her dress. That was it!
Give a dream character a flower.
She tells me that she’s supposed to be going to prom, but she doesn’t have a date. I tell her I’d gladly go with her, if she would allow me to give her a flower. She agrees, and I reach into my pocket expecting it to be there. It’s not, so I look around remembering that I’m surrounded by flowers and plants. I go off to pick one, but they all look so ugly...I go off to find a pretty one, and when I return I see that the girl has left.

      ……….

A woman is in the greenhouse with a buggy as if she's walking into a store. There are two rowdy toddlers inside of it, screaming and crying. They're both little boys and I think that they would be quieter if they were girls. I wave my hand in front of my eyes, and when it's no longer covering my face I see that they are still male, only they're now wearing dresses. I close my eyes and thought to make them female. When they reopened their hair had grown a little longer, but they were still obviously little boys. Out of frustration, I lost interest in them and went to another section of the greenhouse.

      ..........

I'm trying to exhibit my dream-power, but find to my discouragement how little control I have over things.

      ..........

I see my friend Sarika and jump at the chance to give her a flower. I attempt to conjure one up, but I just couldn't. I leave to find a nice-looking flower and begin to think about the advanced task. Maybe I'd have better luck with that one? My thoughts are interrupted as I see Sarika trying to sneak out and I run to her, angry. On the way to the door I notice that my box of donuts is almost empty.
"Kensey!" I yell, "You've eaten almost all of them...there's only four left!"
      "Calm down," my mother laughs.
I snatch a donut from the box and take a huge bite. I gag, and let it fall out of my mouth.
"Ugh," I cough. "Why do these taste like spit..."

I wake up, and swallow with disgust the saliva that's filled my mouth.

This one was very frustrating for two reasons:

First of all, I completely blew my chance at doing the task of the month ;_; I should have just taken a flower.

Second, this was an extremely long lucid. But there are many holes in it...I couldn't remember alot. I'll definitively be working on my recall so this doesn't happen again.

Haven't been here in a while.

Well, in the space from my last post here and what I am posting now, I have had four lucid dreams Two were WILDs(one deild included) and two were DILDS. Unfortunately, I can only fully remember one of them. The first two happened quite a while ago, and I told myself that I'd get around to putting them up, but never did...so now I don't remember either of them. The other two actually happened on the same night, sometime last week. I knew I should have written the first down, but as I was going over it in my head I fell asleep. The only reason I remember the other is because I woke up for good soon after it happened. So....just wanted to update, I guess. I'll be posting the one lucid I do remember sometime soon, probably today if I feel like it.

Oh yeah, I also decided to put one of those 'lucid dream counters' in my signature.

      [EDIT]
Changed my mind, I'm not putting in the lucid
