      Cool that guy's dream journal...

I've only had one lucid dream in my life, and that was 4-5 years ago. I have also had several spells where I kept attempting to improve dream recall, and tried to work on being able to have lucid dreams. Well, I'm taking another shot at it and starting a dream journal to improve recall.

Unhappy my dream from last night...

Last night (this morning actually), I only remember having one dream. I was suddenly soaring over an open hilly area with mountains in the background and a large river flowing through the area. It was kind of like watching the scene on tv, but at the same time being there (hard to explain). But anyways, there was sort of a line sweeping across the mountains and hills and river, and everything behind a certain point (the line wasn't actually visible) everything was dissolving into blocky 1's and 0's (they had depth, like actual objects with shadows and edges) and falling away and disappearing. The river started to gush out over the edge and the water turned into 1's and 0's as it did. Then the view changed to a house on a tall hill with a pool. There were 2 people swimming in the pool. Suddenly one of them froze and started "dissolving". The other person started to rush over, but the same thing happened to them. I could see the mountains dissolving in the background, and suddenly my entire field of vision started to dissolve and I woke up. The song that I was hearing in my dream was playing on my radio alarm clock. The song was kind of sad, but I don't really remember anything about it. The dream was really depressing, everything was just going away. Beautiful landscapes, people, everything we know was simply fading away into binary. Looking back on it now, its just kind of so-so. Also, I was kind of aware that I was dreaming, but that was all.

I don't really get the dream (not sure if it really had a meaning in the first place though. A lot of my dreams don't make much sense)...
