Watching a dream movie (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

It was like dreaming up a movie. I wasn't actually in this dream, I watched it. This man was in his house walking to bed I believe and this woman ran up and started banging on the glass door on the lower floor of the house. The man walks down and lets the woman in and she clings to him and starts crying. He says "What's wrong" and she says "You locked me out of my own house!"

Catfight! (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

First dream I was driving my bike to the beach and on the road there I see a shadowed figure and he said "Hey cory! Do you know who this is?" and I drove closer and found out it was a guy my mom used to date. So He got on the front of my bike and sat on the handlebars as I drive home and I dodge cars and traffic on the way there almost hitting a few.

Next dream was that my first cat named Diamond kept fighting with my other two cats Mia and Fluffy. I yelled at diamond "Stop fighting! You're going to kill them!" and I yelled that a few times and I was in my mom's room and I saw that fluffy had a majour gash that was exposing his rib cage. Then Diamond continued to fight and I yelled "Stop it!" again.

I made this awesome solo and I was trying to get Steve Vai to play it as an outro to one of his songs. He finally admits that it's a pretty good solo and he tries learning it as I show him how to play it.

Next dream I was playing in this band with 2 other girls and a drummer who was male. We were playing and I realize that the glove I'm wearing is actually a time bomb (But it didn't show a count down or anything). Somehow I noticed that there was a wire connected to a bomb and I throw it in front of me and it explodes and then half the audience on the right side disappear. The girl to my left said something like "It wasn't even that much of an explosion. Maybe it was suppose to go BOOOOOOM!" and as she said that it explodes again taking out a bit more of the audience. So I run over and pick up the glove and throw it to a save distance and it explodes rapidly three or four more times.

Sentaku, I saw you say something about dream signs in chat. I read some of your dreams and picked out a couple. I think bathrooms, bodily functions like using the bathroom or checking over your body image, medicine or pills, and stores ( like wal-mart, home depot or ones made up) are a few dream signs.

By the way, I really like the way the program you use pastes into your journal- it's easy to read.

Baby's first word? (Non-lucid)

My first dream I was being forced to take this mysterious drug. There were two clear capsules about 1/4th filled with off-white powder.

Second dream I was sitting on my front doorstep and there was a baby that I think I was supose to watch while the mother was inside. The baby was laughing and said something along the lines of "Glurpee" and I thought it was his first word. The mother came out and I pointed to the baby and said "He said Glurpee" and the mother said "...Glurpee?" with a confused tone to her voice

Surfs up? (Non-lucid)

My first dream was that my girlfriends old cat came back home and had cuts all over her.

My second dream was that I was racing through this obstical course with a friend I didn't know with a surf board. We got to this water slide type thing and we notice that these dark omnious clouds were forming very rapidly and I said "Well... The forcast did call for rain". Then I slid down the water slide and there were these poles that were at about heads height and I was having trouble dodging them.

Braaaiinnss! (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was infected and was a zombie and I was walking around moaning "Brraaaiinnss" like a generic zombie you see in cartoons and this guy that wasn't infected tried talking to me when me and the group of other zombies were walking on a road in the town my girlfriend lives on. I understood what he was saying and didn't want to attack him but the group of other zombies would think I wasn't infected if I didn't so we all attacked him and left him without a head. Next we walked to this house and there was a girl wearing a mask like the murderer in the movie scream wore and she was being attacked by zombie squirrels and they climbed into the mask and were probably biting at her face and she was crying and screaming "I want to go home!"

Blank Memory (Non-lucid)

I don't remember one dream... At all... Hopefully I will remember my next one tomorrow. Also, I tried to WILD and I actually got Sleep Paralysis. But since I tried it before going to bed and tried it laying on my back (Why I did this... I don't know...) I didn't get far before giving up. I remember when I rolled over to a comfy position I kept jumping in and out of dreaming. There would be a quick dream scene with a bit of action in it, then I'd jump back into waking. I should have done RCs in case of a false awakening...

Clean the floor! (Non-lucid)

I got shot just under the chest. I look at the hole and shrug it off and do nothing about it

I'm in Drama class in high school we were all sitting in a circle and we are pairing up for a singing assignment. The teacher pairing us all up wasn't the regular teacher for drama class. One of my friends (who I actually know in waking life) did something and the teacher made him clean the floors. He really didn't mind since he probably didn't want to sing and he jokingly complained about it being difficult work and I said "Nobody said it would be easy" and the teacher said "Remember, I could make you do the same". I looked around the room and saw the pairings and said "I would have joined a group with people who could sing better than me."

Zombie outbreak (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was in a big city when there was a zombie outbreak. I was with a random girl and 2 other guys. I didn't believe them and the woman pointed at the traffic and said "Look, they're all leaving. Nobody is going in the oppisite direction. So we start walking around the city looking for a place to stay. By this time I start noticing how dark it is getting. We walk down this road, there are fairly large trees to the right on a large patch of grass. One of the younger guys yells "Look" and points to a zombie that is gnawing at one of the trees, the zombie runs at us and holds up a gun and starts shooting. Time started getting really slow and I could predict where the bullets were going to go so I started dodging them as I ran toward the zombie. He would shoot to the right, I would dodge to the left, then he would shoot to the left, I would dodge to the right. He then shot low so I jumped into the air and when I landed, I landed on his head and crushed his skull, then we all ran into a building. We got into this room and we heard loud footsteps then I saw what I'm pretty sure was a 8-foot-tall Nathan Explosion as a zombie... He yelled "Give me the book" and I notice I'm carrying this black covered book. I ran into the next room which sort of looked like a larger version of my mom's room at my house. I drop the book and when I pick it up I put a fishing magazine inside it. I drop it on the bed, open it, and start ripping the pages of the fishing magazine. The tall Nathan Explosion zombie starts yelling and screaming in his super low gravely voice and he yells "I need the book to change!" I throw the ripped pages at him and he disapears in a cloud of gold dust.

I wake up after this dream and realize that I have to go to the bathroom very badly... But I was quite tired so I went back to sleep I dreamt almost instantly that I went to the bathroom and I felt the great relief and everything and I realized... "Wait... I didn't get up..." But sadly I woke from this dream before it lead to being lucid and went to the bathroom.

Struggle to fly (DILD)

I was in my house just walking out of the bathroom and my girlfriend was standing there. We hugged each other and I randomly did the nose pinch reality check and I could breathe through my nose (of course). I did this a few times just to check and realized I was dreaming. I immediately walked out my front door. It was quite dark outside. My mom's car was in the driveway, I walked past the car and to the end of the driveway where I saw my old dog which has died a long time ago named Skip and my dog that I have now Lily. I petted Skip and walked back to the lawn in front of the doorstep and jumped into the air trying to fly. I jumped about 5-7 feet into the air and sort of hovered before falling down. I got up and saw a flashing multi-color ball in the bush that is in the front yard and looked at that for a while and then I woke up.

Psycho in the bus station! (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was underground in what seemed to be a bus station and there was this psycho guy with a knife. He went after this middle aged man and cut off his eyelids, lips, and parts of the skin of his fingertips. The psycho guy ran off and the middle aged man's daughter ran to him crying then the middle aged man walked around yelling "Oh god, I'm mutilated!!"

Next I was running away from these hall-monitor type people in school because the school system went crazy and started controlling the students completely. Me and 2 other guys ran into this place that seemed like an apartment. It was relatively small, the walls were brown, there was a poster of something on a wall, a computer and computer desk at the back of the room, a bed to the left, and a window with white curtains to the left. One of the guys sat back and smoked a cigarette and then I asked "Do they know you hide out in here?" and he responded "No, not yet" and gave me these little pieces of paper with oranges on them.

A day at the twisted mall (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was in this mall... It sort of looked like the Mic Mac Mall in Dartmouth. I went into this shop (which isn't actually in the mall) that sold a variety of herbs and religious stuff. There were two women behind the desk and cash register. I said something to them and they both talked to me but I don't remember the dialogue. Then I look at this case that has a bunch of brightly colored crystals and stuff.

I don't remember how I got in this next place but it was a small room and there was this large man tattooing this smaller man. The room had a small window at the end of it. There were two large glass cases that were beside each other. One held ear rings and other body jewelery, the other held novelty stuff.

I don't remember any of my dreams this morning. I didn't get a good amount of sleep so that may be why. Hopefully this doesn't turn into another bad recall patch =P

Quit waving that thing aroud! You're going to hurt yourself! (Non-lucid)

I went into this random people's house (I knew them in the dream) and sat at a table. There was this a woman and her daughter sitting there and there were these little chocolate cookie things. I ate one and they tasted like a better version of teddy grams. So I said to her "They taste kinda like Teddy grams" She picked one up and she ate it and said "Hey, you're right"

Next I was at this conveinence store at night and this tall drunk guy came in yelling. He pulls out a switchblade and starts waving it around and swings at me. He was waving it so slowly that I didn't need to make much effort to stop him from hitting me. Then he left and went into another room. About a minute later he came through the front door of the store again.

The most amazing guitar solo (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was on a stage with a black metallic colored guitar. I start playing chords with no distortion. The clean tone sounded so crisp but bold at the same time with some reverb. The tune sounded relaxed. I looked down to see many effects pedals on the stage I was on. I kick on one of the distortion pedals and the guitar's sound changed to a screaming hot lead tone. Then I start playing this upbeat solo that had few held notes and lots of vibrato. Then I notice that under my foot was a Wah pedal and started using heavy wah with my playing. I was having the most incredible time of my life playing this improvised solo. I couldn't see the audience because the spotlight was blinding me, I didn't care I was having too much of a good time. Then I realized there was something not right about the situation I was in. I didn't completely kick in that it was a dream. I felt that it wasn't real but I just went with it and kept playing this amazing soul-filled solo.

A night of drinking and betrayal (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I come out of the liqour store with a pint of Smirnoff vodka and I look at it and notice the cap is missing. I find the cap on the sidewalk and put it back on. Then I notice there is about 1 shot missing from the bottle and I assume that I must have spilled it looking for the cap. I get into the back seat of this car with a guy I don't know and he said "Did you get it all right?" and I reply with a confident "Yep!". Then my girlfriend gets in the front seat and we leave. We are driving along downtown New Glasgow and stopped at one of the lights and the guy says "You guys don't have a lot to drink" and my girlfriend says "That's okay, you can buy me a drink" and the the guy says "Yaaa...." This is when I start assuming we are going to a bar or something. Then I think to myself "That's kinda suspicious... Is it because I don't have a job and she thinks I have no money?" then she says "Oh... I mean you can buy US a drink". We get to his house which is white, two story with black trimming around the windows. We walk up the front step which is grey concrete and walk in the front door. The guy and my girlfriend go upstairs together for some reason and I start washing my hands at the kitchen sink. It was one of those taps that have a handle you pull up and move side to side to adjust the temperature. I finish washing my hands and I push the lever down and I can still hear water running and see a bit dribbling out. I start getting frustrated and mess around with the lever pushing it side to side and slightly up and down and finally I give up and left it dripping. I then lean agaist the counter and wonder what my girlfriend and that guy are doing up there that is taking so long..... then I think "No matter what actually went on up there she'll come down and say 'I was just taking a shower!' I bet...". Then I feel a wave of jealously and anger and I wake up.

My recall has completely vanished!! I haven't remembered a dream since the last one I posted! Ahhhhhhh!

Hopefully tomorrow I will remember at least a fragment

Valerian root (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Mom bought me a tincture of Valerian root and she said "I got it on sale, if you want St. John's wort I can get you that, too." and I said "I'm tired, not sad... This has St. John's wort anyways" and mom said "No it doesn't." so I looked at the ingredients that had pictures of the different plants that it contained other than valerian and couldn't find St. John's Wort. I spilled some on the door mat and the cats went crazy over the stuff so I wanted to call mom to show her but she couldn't hear me

It's way too early for a christmas tree! (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Mom put up a christmas tree and put presents under it. I said to myself "It's July... So that makes it five months too early to have this up!" Then mom's car alarm went off (Even though in real life the car doesn't have an alarm) so I woke her up to tell her and she pressed a button on the remote keychain she had and asked "I wonder what set it off" and I said "I think it might have been the flashing christmas lights" so I waved the lights in front of the car and the alarm didn't go off. Then mom asked if I wanted to go for a drive and I said "To where" and she said "Just around" so I went with her.

Flying at the water-front! (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I don't remember what got me to reality check, but I remember being at this water-front type place with a crowd of people and I yell "Hey! Guys! Now that I know I'm dreaming, want to fly with me?" and they all say "Okay" and "Ya!" and "Sure!" all at once and we all take off into the sky. We fly in a circle before facing downwards and landing. I land and say "I hope I can do that again, I have a hard time doing that...." and I turn to a girl in the crowd and say "Hey, you. What do you want to say?" and she said "I am... MADE OF SMOKE!" I look at her curiously and say "...Interesting...I'm going to fly" and I run and jump as if to take off and all that really happens is a long jump. This tall girl that was there says "You're doing it all wrong, you just have to stand like this and...." at this point she starts levitating off the ground and says "WILL it to happen". I say "Ya... I'll try that" I start trying and I could feel myself starting to lift but gave up and started to climb a building out of pure instinct... I just felt like it had to be done.

I am then in this random house I've never been in before and I think to myself "Maybe this is a false awakening" I reality check by pinching my nose and trying to breathe and sure enough I could! I then thought "Hey this is a good time to play around with reality checks I haven't done before!" The first one I have always found interesting was the finger-through-palm one. So I took my right pointer finger and pushed it through my palm, the feeling was quite strange, and seeing the feat happen was a whole other feeling, also. Then I look at my right hand... The pinky, ring and middle fingers seemed to be cut short but I knew this is normal since I'm dreaming, stuff like that can be. I then saw a window and walked up to it and thought "I want to walk through that window". I push myself into the glass and it was almost the same feeling as the finger-through-palm reality check but this was far more intense. I got through the window and descided to go back in. This was followed by an even more intense sensation.

I have a little trouble remembering things happening beyond this point so it will get a bit chopped up.

I remember knowing I was dreaming and I talk to this older man working on a yellow oil truck. I say "Hey! I'm dreaming! What do you want to say" and the old man says something along the line of "Buzz off, kid, go away" and I say "That's not right... Someone in my dream wouldn't say something like that!" and the old man jumps down and I don't remember what he said after that but he attacked me and I attack back using my powers then turn the corpse to dust. I have a feeling it was the negitive part of myself and I fought it and won.

I remember being in another random house and did a random reality check by pinching my nose and obviously I could breathe! I remember thinking "No way... I can't STILL be dreaming!!" so I try to push my finger through my palm but it didn't work and I thought "maybe I'm not..." so I try again and it pushed right through and it proved me wrong. I see this flight of stairs, so I walk down them and at the bottom there was this dark and creepy room with really disturbing looking paintings all over the wall. I see a dog that is obviously vicious and wanting to bite me. I walk back up the stairs thinking "I hope that dog doesn't come after me" then I immediately thought "Ah! I can't think those things, or it will probably happen! That's how dreams work!" and sure enough I see the dog coming up the stairs but I make him disapear.

Song published by.... Sobey's? (Non-lucid)

I was in Sobey's when me and a friend just finished making a song and was looking to get it published. Sobey's did it for us and after a while I decided that it was no good and told them to get rid of it. More happened in this dream but I don't remember much of it.

Mom's at my door? (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

This was a short-lived dream where I knew something wasn't right, but didn't click into the fact that I was dreaming...

I was laying in bed and I looked at my door. The desk lamp I used to have on the nightstand of my bed was attached to the wall beside the door. Then I saw my mom open the door and walk into my room a little bit and she said "I know how you feel" and I responded with "What do you mean?" then I woke up.
