(Non-Lucid Nightmare) Me and a group of about twelve unfamiliar people were in a strange building that apparently was a military training facility. A few training officers spoke to us and then began to make us do very strange exercises. The room was about the size of a classroom and we were told to pick up furniture - I carried a large chair and much later, a table - and we were then directed to run around in circles and zigzags while holding the furniture and placing on top of other furniture. We did this for a long time to the point of exhaustion. At one point my vision and movements became very distanced but mechanical, and I told myself I was in a state of Zen(?).
A bit later we were brought to a room with several tables and people shaving their beards and hair. Each table was arraigned with several different types of electric razors and a circular vanity mirror that could be adjusted. I found a spot and picked up a razor and attempted to shave my beard; following what everyone else was doing. I immediately cut my neck pretty bad, and developed not a cut, but large red sore, similar to a burn sore. This perplexed me, and I kept trying to shave but each time would result in a large burn sore. There was no perceived pain.
I then walked towards a large purple machine that looked like a futuristic dentist chair. I attempted to operate the machine by picking up various razor heads and attempting to attach them to a nozzle on the arm of the chair. Eventually an impatient person next to me showed me that the machine was operated by a touch screen that you have to activate, and he instructed me to chose "Shave Beard." I could not make out what the words said but operated the machine successfully. I assured myself that if something goes wrong I'll still have my beard (was not lucid, but apparently semi-aware of dreaming). After that, we were taken out to lunch by some guys in charge and were given steak and cheese subs. Mine had green peppers in it. After two or three bites we were told to put our lunch down and meet in a new room.
This room was blindingly florescent and had about a dozen people finishing an exercise and preparing to move on to something else in a new room. They looked like they were in terrible pain but we were quickly instructed to line up facing away from them. There were splats of blood all over the floor, some loosely covered with white towels. I began to get very anxious. We were instructed to not talk to anyone else or something terrible would happen to the room we were in, and at the the time this reasoning made perfect sense. I was assigned a stern looking man who soon instructed me to bite on the end of a long piece of thick rope. I did this, and he soon thereafter began to drag me to an end of the room by pulling the other end of the rope with my jaw still clenched on the rope. He then began to swing me violently around the room. My teeth had a great amount of tension on them and I felt like I would lose most of my teeth. The pain grew absolutely unbearable and I attempted to get the man to stop swinging me, but was unable to open my mouth because I felt that if I loosened my jaw's clench even a little, my teeth out be violently torn out of my mouth. I gave the man desperate glances to stop, which prompted him to swing me and dragged me even more violently as if demanding that I fully 'give in'.
Finally and abruptly, he stopped. I could feel my mouth was full of blood and loose teeth and the sensation almost triggered semi-lucidity (thankfully it didn't). I barely had enough strength to unclench my jaw to let go of the rope. I immediately collapsed and choked out mouthfuls of blood and possibly some teeth. I writhed in pain for several moments. Then I crawled towards a girl who looked like she had been in even more pain than me. I attempted to comfort her but vaguely remembered that I was strictly told not to talk anyone. Reluctantly I ignored her, and rolled around the floor in pain. Several moments later I was instructed to bite on the rope again. I couldn’t even open my mouth to beg no, so I just groaned and rolled around. My train of thought lost focus. I woke up
