      Pieman93's Dream Journal

      Hello everybody!

Well, it very might end up that I'll be talking to myself when I write this, so I might as well be polite!

I'm going to try and make a commitment to writing diligently into this journal. Summer is finally here, so there's no excuse if I don't try to LD every night.

I know that reading dreams can get really boring, so here's what I'll do to make it interesting. Whenever I lucid dream, I'll write it in blue. It might be this, or it might be this, or it might be this, but, nonetheless, it'll be blue.

Furthermore, if I have a particularly interesting dream, I'll make sure that I make it known. I can't tell you how many times I've read through someone else's journal and read the same darn dream 6 times. Of course, no disrespect to the people who do that. A journal is for yourself, not others. I don't want to come off as an ass, because that's not me (most of the time.) Long story short, I'll try to make this journal easy to read.

Today is June 9, 2009 (cool, 6-9-9) Tomorrow I will write down what I remember, and if I LD any.

Well, that was anticlimactic. I was hoping to be able to write about three of four dreams, but instead I have one.

      Dream 1:
I was in the Bahamas on vacation with my family. We were at one of those hotels where the main attraction is the pool and the kid's area (I have four brothers and sisters, so these are the hotels where we go.) Anyway, I was sitting on top of a flat pagoda type building, where I was looking out at the ocean. I started talking to this girl. She told me her name was Taylor. She had blond hair, white teeth, and a beautiful smile. The epitome of beauty! Anyway, we started talking. She kinda started flirting with me, and before I knew it, we were watching T.V, and she was sitting on my lap, laughing. It was one of the happiest moments I've ever had in a dream, perhaps only less than my first LD where I turned into an eagle! But, before I knew it again, she was telling me that she had a boyfriend, back on the pagoda. I tried to convince her to stay, but her boyfriend was already advancing on me. He was the spitting image of Biggie Smalls. I was crushed.

I'm pretty sure that my subconscious was trying to tell me something. There's a girl at my school named Taylor, whom I really like. Before I fell asleep, I was telling myself I wanted a girlfriend, and that I want to experience those cute little girlfriend things, like having her sitting in my lap, watching T.V. My subconscious is not very "sub."

EDIT: Holy crap! Just after sending this, I remembered something rather important. I had a lucid dream! Pretty important, eh?

      Dream 2:
I woke up in my bed. Instantly, I thought, maybe I'm dreaming, so I pinched my nose and breathed through it. Makes sense, I thought. But then I realized, being able to breathe through it means I'm dreaming! I then tried to stay calm by doing some deep breathing. I sat down on the floor, butterfly-style. While calming down, I decided to have fun while doing it, so I made my legs press down flat against the carpet while the soles of my feet were touching. I'm not very nimble, and I'm not explaining this really well, so it doesn't seem like a big deal, but my body must have looked really weird from a DC's POV. It was a conscious decision, so I guess it counts as dream control. Also, I remember that my room looked abnormally gray. I never fixed this, but it seems strange now. After I finished my pre-dream stretches, I started getting aroused. No one was there, it just kinda started happening. I went into the bathroom, not really wanting it to end. Just after the, ahem, point-of-no-return, my dad came in. I don't remember anything after that. I think the shock may have woken me up.

Last night, I had a lucid dream. Unfortunately, that's about the only thing that I could remember about last night. My sister had a friend over for the night, so my sleep was interrupted many times. However, I'm still happy I had one LD. It was vivider and longer than one in recent memory.

      Fragment 1
      :
I was watching a baseball game. The Tampa Bay Rays were playing the LA Angels of Anaheim (I'm a huge Rays fan.) I had the view of those seats right behind home plate, where you can be seen on T.V. I remember that it was a good feeling. I think that they were winning, and that I was happy. ut the emotions in that dream were very strong.

      Fragment 2
      :
I remember that I was in an environment that was incredibly rocky. Like, it was cut into a rock wall or something. Like, if you turned a canyon into a playground, with "rock slides" and carousels. It was me, and a bunch of other kids who must have been my friends. There was this one big epic slide that was made of rock. It was a water slide, but one of those slides with no rafts or anything, but the one were you slide down on your back. And there was an unsafe flip. I remember riding it, and falling on the flip. Still, I was fine. Then, I remember somehow obtaining this liquor that was in my parent's liquor cabinet that is made by that Godiva chocolate company. It's white chocolate liquor. It tasted like melted chocolate. Delicious. However, I'm pretty sure I got drunk. My vision became blurry, I felt a giddy sensation, and I stumbled a lot. This wasn't loss of control or anything. This was me being drunk. I remember I enjoyed the feeling a lot. I can't remember much else after that.

      Dream 1:
The first thing that I remember was that I was the character in Grand Theft Auto. But I wasn't like a badass or anything. Instead, I was just me, trying to pull some heist job on some rich guy who lived by the beach. He had a bunch of stairs, and I remember kinda of simply bounding down them as I walked. I kinda of floated. I walked inside and I saw this girl at my school. She was butt-naked. Another girl was there but she was clothed. Her dad (the man I presume I had to scam) was in a bed in a corner. He started throwing figures at me, and I got the impression that I had to pay him or else he would call the cops on me. I got mad, and told him where he could shove that money. This also made me lucid. I realized that I was controlling him, and that I must be in a dream. One of the first things that I did was I went into the bathroom, and looked at myself in the mirror. I had been reading posts about mirrors and how they affect dreams, so I wanted to see for myself. I expected to see some sort of distorted face, but it was my real face. So, I played around a bit. I tried making my eyes larger. First try: Nada. Second try: They were bigger, like that alien in the new Star Trek movie. Third try: My eyes were gone. Not in a freaky kind of way, just blurred out, like the mirror was foggy right in front of them. I felt myself drifting away from lucidity, so I instantly tried the spinning technique, something that I had never done before. I closed my eyes, and reminded myself repeatedly that I was in a dream. When I stopped, I was in my neighbor's house (I go there so often it might as well have been my own house.) The first thing I did was the cross-legged thing that I did in my last lucid dream. It kinda of settled me down. Anyway, since I was upstairs, I bounded down the stairs again. This time I almost flew across the room. Wanting to fly again, I walked into a large room, looked up at the ceiling, and tried to jump towards it. On my third try, I jumped all the way to the top, and I hung there. I flew out the door, and over my neighborhood, only it wasn't my neighborhood. On top of every house, there was a character or item from the Simpsons. I flew down to a building which lay under a giant Bart Simpson, and saw that it had a large mirror. Thinking that I could finally transform into something, I tried taking a pill that would supposedly turn me into a dog. However, while it gave me a long tongue, brown skin, and an affinity towards walkings, my limbs grew way too lanky and large. It kinda of was a frightening image, but I knew I wasn't in danger. Nonetheless, I couldn't hold on and I woke up.

This entire dream, it seemed I was fighting an urge. The urge differed each time. At first, my libido almost turned my LD into a sex dream with that girl from school, but I stemmed off the feeling. Several times during the dream, I felt as though I was slipping away to the real world, but I fought it off, either by spinning, focusing on my dream, or yelling "Clarity Now!" I think that this is the first LD in which I stayed lucid until the end of the dream, where I actually woke up. This was a real confidence booster for me. I've had 2 LD's in 3 nights. I'm feeling pretty good!
