Personal Lucid Experiences

Hi, I was having a dry run for two very annoying and frustrating weeks until now, so I'm pretty happy with myself. Now here's where it starts to get strange; I was reading SpiritOfTheWolf's tutorial last night, for a bit of motivation. In there it said that the body may get immune to B6 after a while and I decided to take a break of it (I've been taking it for the past three weeks). Now it may be a strange coincidence but last night I remembered three whole dreams, one of them being lucid (yes, I know it's embarrassing but that's actually good for me :P).
(I won't go into boring detail on my normal dream otherwise you might go back to sleep and have even more lucid dreams than me :( ) So I was having a dream that I stole my friend's mp3 player and suddenly I felt really guilty and wanted to give it back to him. I looked for him down at the basketball court but that's when I woke up. (6 am) I turned around and went back to sleep annoyed, half aware that I was going to sleep. I started off in a black screen/enviroment without terrain. At the time this didn't seem strange to me and out of pure habit I pinched my nose. I can't believe how surprised I was when I could still breath. I rubbed my hands and spun around till I was back at the basketball court. It took me a while to remember all the things I really wanted to do when I became lucid again. I wished my friend from the previous dream back and for some reason his dad came too. He punched me playfull, and randomly twisted his ankle so painfully that apparently I forgot that I was dreaming. I offered my help but my alarm clock went off soon after.

Sooo; What do you think? What is this dream classified as (dild, wild etc.)?

Why don't you just add these posts to your dream journal? I'm just confused why you're making a thread here if you have a dream journal already. And the dream sounds like every WILD I've ever had, you kind of just drift off into sleep half-awake and next thing you know everything's black so you decide to RC.

By dream journal do you mean the last thread? Because I just needed to change the name before I had posted too many dreams there. I'm not going to keep a dream journal inside the dream journal section because; 1. would be too lazy to update it with normal dreams 2. I don't have lucid dreams often enough. Anyway, I'd be quite happy to know that it's possible for me to WILD :) ...

I had another lucid but it was short, and I'm getting annoyed at how I have my lucid dreams just before I normally wake, up which means that I don't really get much time to achieve anything. I did manage to experiment a little with food though; My phone and a bar of chocolate tasted exactly the same! :P Anyway, I should be grateful for all lucid dreams not whinging about they're length.

:D I finally remembered more than one lucid :D

So, this is what happened: I set my alarm to 4:20 am, on vibrate though, so I woke up really slowly and softly. I had a drink of water, and not remembering any dreams, went back to sleep. From then on, every half an hour or so, I woke up wrote something down in my dream journal, and went back to sleep. Two of these dreams were lucid. Again, on the second one, I am not sure if it was a WILD or a DILD. The first one was pretty straight forward; I saw an old woman in a wheelchair turn into a mug and became lucid. The second one I can't remember how I went to sleep, but I do remember that I was scared of moving my limbs because I might do that in the real world, waking myself up... Anyway; they were probably both DILDs so there's no need to fret.

We have moved from Australia back to Europe recently and I've had a recurring dream of walking through the streets of Melbourne (well, my dream version of Melbourne...) and I woke up after one of those dreams. I told myself that I'd recognize the dream the next time I had it, rolled over, and went back to sleep. I had the same dream again and recognized it almost immediately. I was suddenly in a great rush to do something cool since I hadn't had a lucid in ages. I sensed I was losing control over my lucid body and was coming back to real life so I did a spin and a scene change (the scene change wasn't on purpose though). I woke up soon after that and was sad that I didn't really achieve anything.
Funny thing is, that after days of really trying to get back into LD'ing; taking B6, writing in my dream journal, etc. I stop trying for one night, and have a lucid!

Oh well *sigh*. Even though the dream was short I hope that that was the end of the dry run and I can LD more often in the near future.

This morning I woke up before my alarm went off. I decided to go back to sleep and have another go at a WBTB. As I was falling asleep I had (I thought it was real at the time) hallucinations of my dad putting our cat in my room and it then sitting on my stomach and purring annoyingly. I tried to ignore all that and went to sleep (still conscious).
What I experienced after that was half my dream, and half a day dream; if I had moved I would have moved my body in real life. It felt strange when I gained control of my lucid body and I seemed to be going in and out of the dream; so I imagined myself spinning, which didn't work so I randomly flew up from my bed, through the roof, and into the sky. I kept flying up until I had full control and was fully lucid; at which point I started falling. I imagined myself landing with style and whaddya know: I land softly on the ground.
Near me is what looks like a 3 story motel. I enter and hear a guy threatening his wife a floor above me. I run up the the wall (matrix style), through the roof, and onto the next floor. I stare the guy (who is three heads taller than me and looks like a heavyweight boxer) straight into the eyes... And suddenly he's all nice to his wife and invites her to the opera (lol - aren't I great).
I walk down the steps to the floor below, where I see a guy with a guitar. I tell him that it's a dream and he can do whatever he wants. He takes the guitar in one hand, walks over to some guy standing near him and smashes the guitar over his head.
I look around. There's a hot chick leaning against the wall... We have LS. In the middle of it my alarm clock went off and I had to get up.
It was great having an LD after so long, but what type of dream was it?

So... Long dry run (as always) and I'm happy to be able to post something on here. I woke up at around half past six and decided to go back to sleep (holidays). Aaanyways; I was having a dream that I was too late for school and was just running through the (school) hallway when an old friend of mine from my old school walked past me and said 'hi'. Because we used to live in Australia and are now in Germany I was all like 'how did you come here?' and 'wtf?' but he just shrugged and kept on walking. I ran after him calling for him to wait while doing the nose pinch RC. Although hard, I could breathe and became lucid. Not having to rush to school anymore, we kept on walking till we got to the outdoor basketball court where all my other old friends were hanging out. I walked up to them (I would now like to mention that for some reeaallly strange reason everyone, including me, was carrying a guitar) and told them it was all just a dream and they should smash their guitars and follow me. After some smashing and bits of wood flying everywhere we set off to, and as i put it in the dream: 'Wreak havoc.'. We then walked through the halls of my school, which was now somehow a lot bigger than before, and we ended up in a mini museum with a couple of old cars on exhibition. Behind it were glass doors and then a parking lot. I ran up to a VW mini van screaming 'THIS IS SPARTA!' and punched it as hard as I could. It didn't even budge :P. Slightly embarrassed, I asked Andrew (he's a big guy) to help me lift it. At first it just hovered above the ground but I imagined it flying away and it did. Right through the glass doors and onto the parking lot. My friends were amazed and soon cars were flying above my head everywhere. The dream ended when I started having LS with a hot chick lying in the middle of the parking lot. I was so fuking angry that I could've pulled out my own hair :mad: . It wasn't like I couldn't control myself or anything, it was just that every time I had thought about finally having a lucid dream I'd have the best LS ever. DAMMIT! Oh well, I hope this means end of the dry run...
