Thread: Sleepless Nights & Dream Journal Delights

In short, I just had an experience of which some I wouldn't mind repeating. The other half made me not want to sleep the rest of the night (It's currently 3:40AM and I am writing this directly to DV)

I went to bed at 2AM. I kept waking up and going back to sleep (hungry, was to lazy to cook so late, so what I would do to supress the hunger was roll up some of my blanket and pretty much jam it into my stomach area)

So I had this crazy experience. I got up out of bed, and it was like I was so intoxicated. I had no depth perception or anything. I stumbled out into the hallway. Tried turning on a light at the top of the steps, only to fail and realize I wasn't even within a arms length from the wall. Then my sisters boyfriend comes out of her room, and turns on the light for me. we make our way downstairs. I'm explaining to him how I'm feeling, this drunken state with no depth perception.

He shrugs at it. "Hey, do you happen to know if your sister smokes?"
were entering the kitchen at this point.
"I don't think so, but hey, anything is possible"
"oh. because when I came home some fags were missing out of my pouch"
(I thought this was odd language for him to be using because were in Canada.. hah..)
"...yeah..."
I was about to try to turn on the light and he seen this. so we came over and turned it on for me. Just then I don't know what happened but I didn't feel like this was reality.

Then I had a strange experience. I was laying in bed, and I couldn't move. When I opened my eyes, to the right of me standing beside my bed was a completely black figure with horns. the voice of this unknown creature could best be described as Batman's voice in "The Dark Knight". raspy.. It started yelling at me "I'LL F**KING MURDER YOU YOU USELESS SCUM I'M GOING TO KILL YOU"
Then it was weird, I couldn't move obviously, I don't know why..felt like when I tried I was bound by some force holding me in one position, but at the same time it felt like I was hitting this creature standing beside me, just as he did the same to me. I yelled at it "GET AWAY GET AWAY" then I was able to move. My head felt extremely weird, like there were waves of vibrations going through it. I looked at my cieling where my star is (made out of christmas lights, it's pretty cool) and there was a pair of eyes in the center of it. They were looking at me. Then, they slowly disappeared.

I got up out of bed, slightly confused and a tad of frightened of what had happened, and set forth to the washroom to get a drink.

And that is my strange experience.

I'm pretty sure I had sleep paralysis, which I get from time to time, but never has it been so intense.
