I haven't been keeping up with a journal, but I want to start again.
I've been taking a Big 100(R) Tablet (GNC.com) again, every night before sleep for the past few days. And I know I had dreams. And I can remember particular parts of the dreams. Even right now. All last night I dreamed of rolling a blunt. And lo and behold today, I rolled two; one in the dark. And thus, other than the fact that dreams can come true, I am nearing the conclusion that bud doesn't really affect my dream recall all that much.
But I'm determined to go lucid tonight I'm taking two of these bad boys.
Plan: I have to get up by 8:30/9 or so.
I think I will sleep and dream a couple hours and then break my sleep during REM stage of my next cycle: So if I get to bed by 3:00AM, 3 sleep cycles or (3 x roughly 1.5hours = 4.5 hours) 4.5 hours later will be 7:30AM. I will set my radio-clock, tuned to 96.3 (Classical Music), to 7:30AM. Then take around 7 minutes to fall asleep.
*NOTE 2 SELF: [Record the amount of time it takes for us to fall asleep/ hours we've been awake.]
Then wake up at 7:30AM and take another log. Then return to sleep. Wake up at 8:30.
If any one has a suggestion regarding when I should wake up, please share. I just read that 100 minutes per cycle is closer to accurate, but also that the REM stage can last up to an hour after it begins...so that's a possible cycle lengths from 100 minutes to (90+60=150 minutes) 2.5 hours. So I'll have to calculate around when is the best to interrupt my sleep.
