woot.
I decided that I want to migrate my DJ over to a publicly-viewed forum. Maybe it'll be interesting to you, who knows. Enjoying reading about my subconscious!

Night of July 24, '09
Aids consumed before bed: -
This was the first time that I woke up after the first dream and successfully stayed awake enough to write down some notes. Surprisingly, my nighttime, not-fully-awake-and-unable-to-see-what-I'm-writing handwriting is pretty good.
In the first dream, I find myself in a boat similar to a gondola. It's more of a mix between a gondola and a viking ship, but it doesn't really matter. It's just me in the boat, but it's floating along its own course. I have to do nothing. I'm drifting through these massive, red caverns with extremely high ceilings. The water is a translucent, bright red- a similar red to the walls. As I float along, it becomes apparent to me that somehow it's someone's nasal cavity... and it doesn't surprise me or faze me.
At this point, I wake up. Time is ~2:50a. I lie there for a bit, wondering if I should jot the dream down or not. I finally convince myself that doing so won't hinder my sleeping, so I quickly write down some notes and fall back asleep.
The next dream I have is possibly a recurring dream. By that, I mean it completely felt like I've dreamt it before (and even mentioned it in my dream), but I can't remember experiencing it previously.
I'm walking around my neighborhood at the beginning of this dream. The sky becomes this ominous grey, and I find myself running up the hill quickly. Reaching the top of the hill, I instinctively dive into this deep, underground bunker. In this bunker, I seem to take on the perspective of a young girl, and everything else takes on a feeling of being in an overly-dramatic, high budget action film.
The bunker is this massive chamber, and I quickly dodge behind these large doors. I seem to know what's coming, but I can't verbalize it. The doors are heavy and slowly closing, and I'm peering out between the crack when suddenly, a huge explosion occurs right outside of the doors. Everything slows down Matrix-style, and my perspective pans around myself peering out the door.
The explosion finishes, and I along with a few other people in the bunker crawl out to the street level, and the explosion was a nearly apocalyptic (my perspective returns to my normal body). The remaining survivors and I make our way down the street when a girl runs up to us, crying about her lost dog. For some reason, I yell at her and tell her to suck it up because I saw my father die in the explosion for a second time (this is when I note that it's a recurring dream) and she snaps out of her melancholy and tells me this is the second time she's lost her dog too. So she runs off to find someone else to pity her.
We make our way to the gas station down the street, and find nobody there but everything completely locked up. I steal a water bottle and a can of Dr. Pepper from the displays set up outside and we go back to the bunker. As we approach our destination, we see many fire trucks and police cars lining the streets, with the firemen attempting to put out a fire that isn't there. A car pulls up along the side of us, and it's packed full of people I know, mostly ravers. I try to get the attention of Casper, but he doesn't seem to notice me. Everyone else says hi before they drive off, and a police car follows them. I stand there and watch the firemen for a bit before...
...I wake up. Time is ~7:20a. I have to get up in a bit anyways, so I just write down some notes and allow my body to fully wake up.
Ravers, man. They HAVE to be my dream sign. I need to train myself to recognize them and do reality checks when I see them.
