Fableflame's odd dreams

Yep. I'm finally getting around to posting a dream journal. Took me long enough I suppose. Last night I woke up at 1 a.m. and recorded my first dream. It wasn't lucid.
If I ever do finally get lucid, the text will be in blue. Otherwise, normal text.

So in last night's dream, I was driving down the road, not any road I know in real life, listening to the radio with my brother in the passenger side seat. Suddenly, I realize that the road in front of me is flooded with water. The car in front of me drives into the water, and slowly starts to sink. Now, I think that for some reason I could cross the large body of water, whereas the car in front of me couldn't.

I want to note that neither me or my brother seemed surprised by the suddenly flooded road.

So I drive into the water, and we start to sink, but it looks like we might make it across. Water starts to fill up in my car, and soon it is up to my face and I can feel cold water starting to flow into my mouth as I try to spit it back out. Then I can feel it start to go up my nose. I can't get over how real it seemed, even now, it's more like a memory of an actual occurence instead of a dream. It doesn't take long for the car to fill up, and I think I'm going to drown. My brother opens his door and gets out of the car and starts to swim up. I take off my seatbelt, panicking now, and try to open my door. But I forget that my doors lock automatically, so I fumble around trying to unlock the door. I finally hit the button and open my door and I start to swim. As I reach the surface I wake up.

Another interesting note, as I was trying to get out of my car, I hear an announcer on the radio saying that a flood killed six people in "downtown Lenoir", which happens to be the town that I live in.

Well, that's the dream. I hope my recall gets better so I can post more.

I've had this Dream Journal a month and 17 days now, and this will only be the second dream I've logged here. I must post moar.

Anyway, last nights dream:
I was in the basement, and I had this huge white cat, sort of like some of the Lolcats I suppose. I opened the garage door, the door that we would drive the car through to work on it, and let the cat out. I went back upstairs to my room and watched the cat roam around in the back yard. My little sister was in the room, I think she was watching TV, but I don't remember what was on. I started yelling at my sister, telling her to get the hell out of my room. I don't know why, but I was angry, yelling at the top of my lungs. She didn't want to leave, so I kept yelling at her. At some point, my step-brother walks in and over to my computer desk. (which I should point out, was on the wrong side of the room) He picks up a drink, presumably his, and walks out. Then my sister finally leaves.

Any dream interpreters wanna take a shot at this?

Heh, finally another entry.


I don't know what was going on, but I think I was a part of some kind of primitive war. Anyway, I had this weird torch. It was like an old-timey torch, except that there were two buttons on the handle that you used to operate it with. I'm really not sure how it worked, and I didn't understand it in my dream either. After running around through this castle trying to burn stuff and being unsuccessful, I walk outside and see a little orange, furry kitten lying in an indention in the wall. Now I'm not sure why, but I decide to try and light it on fire. I stick the torch to the kitten and press a button, but all that happens is it leaves behind some kind of clear liquid on it's fur. I instantly am sorry that I tried to set the little guy on fire, so I pick him up and hold him to my shoulder and begin petting him, actually apologizing to the little guy. But then I woke up.
