Hey DS, another reader here!! And I agree with OfficerFlake, we want more details!!

... See what happens when you wish for more readers... you might start getting requests and critcs!

Oh, but just tohelp reassure yu that ypu're not writing entirely in vain here, I just checked, and your DJ has 880 views as of now. Not too shabby!

Thanks for the motivation. I really appreciate it! I had no idea so many people had checked into my journal; it must be my catchy title! I'll try to be more descriptive from now on, so long as you promise to FIX YOUR GRAMMAR!

I'm sorry? Heh, could you quote the passage that instance was contained in? (I tell you, my memory's no good anymore.)

Thanks so much for all the encouragement, guys. I had taken a break from posting for a while, so a have quite a few new dreams for you to read.

      Lucid dreams!

      Haha! Okay here they are:

Tell me if I'm being descriptive enough.

This one was a little fuzzy to me, and nothing much happened, but...

      "In which creativity deserts me"

I walked into a long, dark, narrow art classroom. There were about a dozen other students, and moody simplistic paintings littered the walls. A rectangular concrete block serving as a table was sitting in the center of the classroom. Out of the blue, I realized I was dreaming. I climbed onto the concrete block and stood, mouth agape, trying to think of something to try. Nothing came to mind. I was completely blanking at the absolute worst time. After standing anti-climactically for some fifteen seconds, I lost lucidity and resumed my "normal" activities.

      "Twilight High"

I found myself wandering a dusty, twilit, vacant high school. I attended a girls soccer game going on down the hill. There I saw a few of my friends. After the game had concluded, my friends and I parted, and I walked through the forest and back up to the school. Once I reached the school, I realized I was dreaming. I walked around the school, searching the unusually narrow corridors for someone to talk to. (Actually I was looking for a girl, bet you'll love that, loaf ) I poked in and out of classrooms, but still nothing. Perhaps I started to lose lucidity some time earlier, because it didn't occur to me that I should have abandoned searching and done something else. I eventually lost lucidity completely.

To tell the truth, the main reason for my non-descriptive lucid dream is my terrible memory. Apart from the few adjectives I can throw in there in addition, I can picture my lucids just about as well as you can.

Oh well. Here's a good one!
I may have finally learned to summon people at will.

      "Messing With Friends"

I was at a busy downtown intersection. I realized I was dreaming. I looked to the left and thought, "Dakota is walking into my field of vision." Like magic, my friend Dakota walked into the scene. He said hey, and in response I said, "Check this out" before brazenly strolling across the street. Dakota freaked out, and cars swerved and crashed to avoid hitting me. I reached the end of the street and spun on my heel, grinning at what I had just created. I strode purposefully back across the street, and chuckled at Dakota's face, which looked similar to this. I jumped into the air and soared above the rooftops, listening to his amazed "WOW!" from below. I steadily lost lucidity from that point on, and returned the strange plotline always accompanying my dreams.

Yeah. I started the year at a new school, and this is the first lucid I've had at my new school. Why do you say it's wierd, though?

EDIT: LOL'd at the signature, by the way.

      Here's the last one.

I guess I assumed I had more than I actually did.

      This one was a WILD.

"How Crisp the Grass, How Cool the Wind"

I closed my eyes and determinedly imagined kneeling on grass. Gradually, my hand and it's presence on the grass became more defined, until I find myself on my knees in a vibrant, breezy, green field. I rubbed my hand up and down the smooth texture until I guessed I was grounded sufficiently to be able to raise my head. I slowly inched my eyes upward, but it was too much and I awoke.

This is great writing practice. Such discriptiveness can only do me good on my next school essay.

I'm terribly sorry about my utter lack of lucidity lately. (<-Just look at that alliteration) I've neglected my dream journal recently, and haven't had a lucid dream in a blue moon. But apparently last night was different, because I had an amazing flying lucid dream. Here it is.

      "On Flight and the Computer"

I was dreaming in random locations around my house at night, and gradually became lucid. (That's a first) Evidently I was fully aware I was dreaming, because I can remember thinking how amazing it was to be able to do all these wonderful things while aware I was dreaming. So, I somehow got hold of a state-of-the-art brand new laptop in front of my house, turned it on, and used one of its programs to enable me to fly. I jumped into the air several times knowing without a doubt that I could fly, and gravity seemed to lessen with each jump. After about the fifth time, I soared into the night air and began to fly around. I shot like a bullet into the sky and zoomed around my neighborhood, reveling in the absolutely convincing feeling of the wind of my face. Since I was fully lucid, I wanted to see how fast this puppy could go, so I sped faster and faster over the treetops. The surrounding scenery seemed to blend into a solid blur of trees and buildings, and I must've broken the sound barrier at least once. After a brief intermission from lucidity, during which I fixed up a middle aged man's computer so he could fly like me, I returned to lucidity and once again flew back into the air. I decided to see how much of my neighborhood my brain remembered. I headed toward the library, turned left to pass over the dog park, and from there flew eastward. At that point, my brain started to create some sort of Japanese temple landscape, so I figured that's about as much as my subconscious remembered of my town. I decided to turn around, but on my way back home, I gradually lost lucidity, and can't remember anything from that point on. Bummer.

Oh, well. That was still the most fun I've had in months. (And admittedly, the longest lucid dream I've had in a while.)

Hope you enjoyed this entry. I tried to make this one extra descriptive, so if you could give me some feedback, it would be greatly appreciated.

DS, I thought you were gone...since I haven't seen you anywhere posting in DV, or in your DJ! Well, I'm glad that you got another lucid! Can't get enough of those! The good thing is that, if you recently had a LD, you're more likely to get another soon, as well as the number of LD's you've ever had, since now it has increased by one!

Hmm...I've had many LD's where I'm at home (lately, that's where half of my LD's are! Odd how not many NON lucids am I at my house...well, maybe not since I know my house and all, so perhaps it's easier to get lucid there?), but I've never been able to stray too far from my home in any LD...Sometimes, I may start to fly off, but not really in town, often to some random house or a non-existent neighborhood in the direction AWAY from home. Mostly, I end up sticking around where I became lucid , or I teleport somewhere else...I never stray too far from anywhere. Anyway, I have wanted for a while to just fly into my town to see what my subconsious remembers...as well as many other things, but it just hasn't happened.

OK, I'm done blabbin now .
If you see a strange typo in my post, blame my iPad for that.

      Hey LDS!

To explain for my unexplained absence, I never have the time to go online during the week, and on the weekends I'm usually doing something else.

Thanks for the pep talk. I thinks I'm up to forty something lucids by now!

Interesting how most of your lucids are set in your home. For a while, I thought you were saying you HAD most of your lucids in your house. (Why would you sleep anywhere else?)

      The End

      P.S. I don't care if you blab.

Hey DS, well I stopped posting in my DJ after the drama on here towards the end of last year. I also got into photography in a big way so LDing took a back seat for a couple of months - I still had them but not often. However I got back into it a few weeks ago and have kept a record of them so might post them all at once.

Have just caught up on your DJ. I enjoyed the dream where you showed off to your friend, Dakota.

If you want to improve your memory of your dreams I recommend using a voice recorder. Your mobile phone might have one built in - mine does and that's what I use. I have it set ready to record at the push of a button. It's great as I don't need to turn on a light I just push the button and speak.

As for the poll... your journal is fine the way it is!

I was going to write a paragraph or two explaining why I haven't had any LD's in a while, but when I was done, I had been logged off. The computer told me to refresh the page, and when I did, my paragraph(s) were gone! So here's a summary:

      I was busy.
      And lazy.
And I just didn't have the time between school and... school.

That's pretty much the gist of it.

Not that anyone cares, or is even reading anymore, since I haven't posted anything new in months.

      Oh, well.

I'm sorry about that! Yeah, I left DV for a few months, which is why my LD's went from 15 a month to a bad one a month! I have to be here! And, yup, I stay subscribed to this thread .

Hi DS, I left dv for another forum a few months ago. I just popped back to remove some dreams from my journal and saw your journal at the top of the list. Sorry, your dreamlife has taken a back seat but that's life sometimes. You can always get back into it at a later stage.

      Stay in touch!

Thanks for posting. I'm glad someone still reads this wreck of a journal.
I've had approx. three LD's since the last one I posted, including one this morning. I'll try and get them up ASAP. (I know I keep promising that, I don't know what to tell you.)
      And about the poll:
