Hm yeah, I know what you mean. I recently started my DJ on DV again and am trying to be consistent with updating it myself. Good luck.

      Well it's about time. Lol.

Yeah, I think there seem to be a lot of us going through a spell of shoddy recall, lately. We might have to keep each other motivated to keep up with our journals, because I know mine is in the sorriest state it's been in a long time.

haha, thanks Jeff and O. I know its about time. 2 years now? lol

well, last night I finally remember some semblance of a dream. I remember being in what seemed to be a craft show or flea market of some kind, but it was set up like a department store because all the stuff was organized by area instead of seller. I found an area that was selling beast wars toys and VOLTRON.
Thats right, Im 21 and in my dream I was getting smacked in the face by nostalgia by looking at all these old beast wars and voltron toys. They were even all in their original packaging. then someone urged me to move on...I know it was someone I know but I cant remember who.

so yeah, theres my first entry in this journal. I love transformers still lol, beast wars was amazing stuff. I guess I might have missed lucidity because is was extremely realistic. I mean, all the stuff was at a craft show or something and they do sell old toys at them sometimes. thus it never occurred to me that anything was out of place.

Dude, the characters in Beast Wars were badass. Beast Machines had cooler animation, but the dialog was dumbed down, and they made that Rat guy a lil bitch which pissed me off. Voltron was amazing.

I love your quotes in your sig. Where are they from?

oh I know, beast machines could have been so much better if they upped the dialouge.

the first quote is from a book called Way of the Peaceful Warrior. It is a little short but great. definitely worth the time if nothing else.

The other is a quote by Miguel de Unomuno Though some sources say Einstein.

alll riiight. I remembered another one...and once again, aside from the end where my alarm woke me up anyways...it was fairly realistic aside from the vehicle I was in. Now I dont remember the why or how, but I am riding in a unusually tall van, and delivering pizza.

Should be noted that I have delivered pizza for pizza hut the past two summers

but I was in the passengers seat and my dad was driving it. there was someone else in the back too...but I dont remember who it was. Anyways, we pull up to this fairly large house, and I get out, and walk around to the porch, but the glass was dim and I couldnt see anyone, then I saw the house number, and it was not the one I needed to deliver to. As I was walking away, some woman I didnt know with blonde hair opened the door and asked me if I was "having fun" peeping on their house.

I was insulted and walked right over to her to explain what happened, inside, to my suprise I saw one my dad's sisters. I said hi to her, and then I asked her to explain to this woman who I was, and for some reason I was kind of whiny while doing it. After that I was let in the house, I was still carrying the pizza bag, and inside was just a party involving my dads side of the family. I walked around, saying high to people and to this one little girl. I assume she is one of the myriad second cousins I have now, because although I didnt know her she still seemed familiar.

She gave me something..I dont remember what...but I remember wanting to be nice to her and keep her smiling so I did it. then, some members started leaving, one of my cousins said bye, I left too and opened the door, and there was another one of my uncles lol. anyways I walked out around him, back to the van. Except when I opened the door, now only a thin sheet of metal opened and there was still a block of metal in the wayso my dad and the other person were trying to pull me up in the van over the metal barrier just as if I was just being pulled in through the window. enter alarm lol

so, yea, a lot of recall in this one. much better. My dads family IS very large, and the only time we really see them is during some special occasion. I dont feel any special attatchment to any of them though. so, while nothing extrodinary happened I guess its kind of weird to have a dream about them.

Well, I tried to make you lucid last night, but when I found you, you weren't dreaming. Haha. I was being chased through the dream world, so I was kind of in a rush. I like how that woman was like, "excuse me." Then, you said, "high." Only one kind of person says that as far as I know.

Note: this was during a midday nap.

I had my second ever false awakening today. I woke up in my grandparents house. walking out of the room I sleep in while there I came to the living room and it suddenly occurred to me to have a reality check. I plugged my nose and could breath. Usually this sends a strong wave of vividness in to my dream, but it didnt this time. possibly because I know my grandparents house so well that it was already very vivid. I decided to test if I was dreaming by attempting to make my hand go through the couch next to me. To my surprise...my hand didnt go through. When I touched the couch, I was even expecting it to go through. But instead I felt very vividly the texture of the couch...I then realized that if I walk back through the house to where I had woke up it should be different..at least a little bit...but it wasnt. everything had stayed exactly the same. At that point, I fell out of control and the dream took me over again.

when I fell out of control, my dream self decided to take a shower. Leave it to my dreams to prove that Im dreaming when I dont have control anymore...cause when I pulled the curtain back...it wasnt just a tub...it was some very large yellow steps, with water falling from the high black ceiling. Of course, I just walk in it and start showering. While in it, I heard my grandparents and mom and gf talking...then my gf came in and pulled back the curtain on me lol. after that I woke up suddenly and unexpectedly.

a short dream during a nap today. I found myself walking around in a wal mart "Ive had several dreams start this way recently, but thats all I remember of them" and someone asked me if I would like a job. I said sure, Id like some extra money...and suddenly I was in this under ground aquarium. they told me to just get in the water and hold me breath...they didnt give me an oxygen tank or anything, so I suddenly had to come up for air at random times.

so I sit under the water and across from my view I see them lower a piece of meat in, and they say "release the sharks" I was like Oo. but what came swimming to the meat and tearing it up was not sharks...it was sheep. yes, sheep, swimming in the water, with glowing blue eyes, and their wool looked dry under the water.

they tore the thing to shreds and then went swimming away, I lost my breathe and came up for air and suddenly a red alarm went off, I rushed inside of this long vent and someone went running one way, told me to run the other. My path took me to one of those mini subs. the round ones meant for one person. so I got in, and it took me out to the center of the water, there it sank under. The dropping motion felt immensly real. while under the water, I went past some beautiful coral and rocks, it was actually quite soothing. The sub was taking me to the place where the submerged sheep tore the body apart...but before I got there I suddenly woke up.

      yeah, weird lol.

uh oh, college was keepin from getting this updated, but I HAD too because I had an LD during a nap yesterday. Very short btw. let me start though with two other strange dreams Ive had both involving my sister's kids.

first dream. This dream was back in february but I still remember it because it was so vivid and detailed:

I was sitting in my room at home when suddenly I got a call from my sister the my nephew and two nieces were kidnapped. my parents were very upset, my mom was crying, I took a couple of my friends and we jumped in an open air car (we dont own one lol) and went off to look for them. It was night and very cold, but I didnt feel the cold like everyone else seemed to. We eventually drove around to an empty skyscraper (again, none around here) and went to the back, there was snow covering a car, and when I opened it, I found my two nieces shivering and cold, I pulled them both out and took them back to my sister and mother...but they were still crying because my nephew wasnt with them. we went back out to search for them and the sky had gone from black to a dark purple. and the street light (on that we actually have) was not normal, it had red and green smoke coming out of it instead of just lights. As we drove I felt a very ominous feeling, but as it intensified my alarm went off to wake me up for class :/

another dream I had the next month which I dont remember near as good. I only remember I was playing with all 9 of my current nieces and nephews. But, with them there were two others, a little blonde haired blue eyed boy and girl. They may have been twins, I cant remember. I just remember everyone was playing with each other and the kids and I were treating them like they were just another one of the cousins. I woke up with a calm and happy feeling, but wondering where those two extra kids came from.

now for my LD I had a couple days ago. It was a short simple one. I was taking an afternoon nap and had a false awakening. but when I woke up there were several people I didnt know standing around my bed. This was enough for me to do a nose plug reality check. Once I did the people vanished and my house really felt like my house from the increase in senses. I walked to the edge of the stairs and figured I'd try to levitate down them rather than walk. I stood there for a second and concentrated and sure enough I lifted off the ground a bit and went floating down them. I looked outside and noticed it was night. It was very beautiful but I wanted to test my control more, so I tried to make it day time. It worked for a second but then flipped back to being night time, like in the cartoons. So instead I walked out the door and noticed the sky was not only filled with stars, but also galaxies with many different hues of color, I wanted to fly closer, so I lifted off and started slowly moving up in to the sky. Then, however, I was awoken by my mom running up and down the stairs >.>

good to be back in the Journal area gang!!!
