I experienced sleep paralysis for the first time last night... twice, in fact. It wasn't painful or scary at all, I just remember feeling as though my whole body was frozen (except for my face)... I could still hear my parents snoring in the next room!
I felt a strange rippling sensation, like when your body is floating in water.
Next thing I knew I was lucid in a bathroom of sorts, only it was flooded with water. I had fun swimming for a while but couldn't dive into the depths - for some reason I was stuck floating near the surface. I thought the room was too small so I made it longer by pushing against the walls. It was easy, and I could even use magic to raise the water levels, but the room kept reshrinking no matter how much I expanded it. I got bored and headed into my room.
I remembered my goal to fall into a rabbit hole. I dug out by toy rabbit from under my bed. We couldn't find a rabbit hole so we dug one ourselves in the carpet. It was small, but surprisingly both of us could fit through. It was quite a long fall, and the walls of the hole seemed to be made of soft blankets. I landed next to a mountain, which seemed to be a complex wooden frame with a blanket draped over it. Boooring.
I jumped out the window. It was so realistic that for a moment I hesitated, wondering if I would fall to my death after all. But I could fly easily. Then I reached into my pocket for my glasses (I always keep my glasses there) and put them on - suddenly the dream became 10 times clearer and more vivid. I flew along a street with adorable little cottages. They all had such bright, candy-like colours and one was made of chocolate and cream. It was so real! I could even see every little line on the tiny leaves of a rose bush.
