I had my first LD last night. I was pretty surprised, because I only found out about them that same night. While going to sleep, I said "I will remember dreaming" everytime it wasn't the last thought in my head. I didn't even try to control my dream, or even LD, i just wanted to remember it, but I did anyway. It wasn't great but here it goes.
I was driving through the town I live in. Now right there, I should have known somthing was weird. I can't drive yet. But i thought it was normal. I pulled up to a red light in the exact middle of town, and I noticed something weird. I was the only person in the entire town. I looked at the clock. 9pm. Then "O crap i'm dreaming!"

i drove around for a minute and i wanted to change the car i was driving from an automatic to a manual. I remembered that you shouldn't try and change it abruptly, so i closed my eyes and "wished" that the car was a manual. A few seconds later, I just reached down and shifted. It worked! I have no idea how, but i was in a manual! I went into my house after driving there, but i dont remember what i did. I just left the house, got back in my car, and i think before I even started it i woke up.

I really hope it comes easily to me, it sounds like an amazing experience to have once you can really control everything. Although I knew I was dreaming, I didn't feel like I had complete control though, and I don't know if it was because it was night or because my memory of it isn't very sharp, but it didn't feel like real life. It felt more fuzzy and distorted kind of.
And I didn't have one last night. I'll report tomorrow

I don't even remember seeing a D or a R or a P or whatever. It was really fuzzy, I still need to work on my dream recall. I wasn't even trying to LD, i was just trying to recall that night

I'll try that tonight though that would be awesome.

I have never been able to control everything. I can go to different places, but I can't change the setting. Is there anyone on DV that can control everything? Robot Butler has a lot of control, I know. I can do a lot, but I never have complete control.

Seeing words in dreams or letters is difficult for most people. Some people can read words with ease, though.

Alright, a very exciting update

I've been working on dream recall for the past few days. I can now remember at least 1 or 2 a night, which has helped my LD so much. I had the first one i put in here by luck I guess, and then 2 nights ago I had another one where I just got the "I'm dreaming!", then rubbeded my hands together before waking up. I got a second one like that earlier this morning, and then I had this one 10 minutes ago.
I wake up. This feels awfully weird. Look down at hand confused.I HAVE SIX FINGERS. Awesome, LD. Don't fuck this one up. I rub my hands together and it settles down pretty well. I check my fingers a few more times, because I really want to make sure I'm dreaming. 6 or 7 every time. I check a light switch on my way upstairs which works in RL, and it doesn't work. I check the switch next to it which is broken in RL and it does work in the dream. Whateva. I make my dog float, and my table float just having fun in my first really good LD with DC. I go out and find a pretty hot girl and fuck her

then after she's just sitting there with my bong (which I didn't bring?) and theres a bunch of stoners all around and this one old hippie stoner who's getting a bj from 2 really hot girls at the same time tells me "when your younger, you smoke with girls and you hope there going to blow you. But as you get older, they do it quicker and you don't have to tell them to. Then you hope that girls won't do it so quick because you just wana hang out with them and stuff." I just reply with my fairly standard "The grass is always greener on the other side" then the girl cashes the bowl and I wake up
Anyway I thought that was awesome

Another full LD

I wake up. Check hands.I have six fingers

I go upstairs again, and it's 3 in the morning (but somehow light outside) I want somebody to appear, so I think about her for a few seconds and nothing happens. I call a random number on the phone that was there and nobody answeres, but then a text comes in that says "I'll be right there" It was a land-line phone

Then I wake up
