The Ape-Like Man!
I'm closing my eyes and focusing on the patterns and shapes that take place before my eyes when I'm sitting in my science class! My teacher, Mr. K, is yelling to my math teacher about a strange, short, ape-like man who apparently is roaming the hallway and yelling obscenities at the other teachers. Mr. K dismisses our class, and I start walking down the hall to the lunchroom. I pass a man, and somehow I know he is the "Ape Man" that my teacher is talking about. For some reason, he doesn't look very ape-like. His hair is wavy, black, and overgelled. He is very short, about 4'8, and has a large wart on his left cheek. I walk into the lunchroom, accidently brush by him, and see my school guidance counselor sitting at the first table giving me 'the look.' Our principal comes in and tells everyone to go back to their homerooms, so I walk back to the science room. It's very dark and stormy out, and the florescent lighting in the classroom is very harsh. I overhear the teachers talking about how we must "take down this ape-man" and we all board a bus. The bus driver is doughy with glasses, a blond 90's hairstyle, a cap, and sweats. As we pull up to the house, she takes a short cut through his garden path to the gravel driveway screaming "Serves him right!". We all get off and I start petting the ape-man's dog. Suddenly he's next to me, telling me to "Walk them for me, will ya?" Wordlessly, I go to his two car garage. I struggle through leashing up his large white pomeranian, a cat, and another dog, when he's suddenly next to me again. He helps me finish leashing up the animals, talking aimlessly to me. I leave and walk the animals up the driveway, then back to the house. I put my foot on the first step up to the doorway and the dream fades. I don't remember having this dream until midday, nor waking up afterwards.

Lucid Dreaming Inside of a Non-Lucid Dream?
I was falling asleep peacefully...when I appeared in a room with another girl. The room was all wood paneling, even the floors, with no doors that I could see. In the back of the room was a wooden box with a strange orb-device on it. The girl was about my age, skinny, pale, with long black pigtails with emo bangs and pink extensions. She wore a large blue top-hat, very much like the Mad Hatter's. Her dress was blue and black checkered with some hearts sprinkled on there too. She wore fishnets and black pumps. I remember she also had peircing blue eyes, heavily lined with eyeliner and mascara. She told me that she could induce lucid dreams through the device. I said something like "Cool, we should share a dream sometime," and she said gently, "No, you're much too new to this. It would just slow me down." She explained to me that since that machine induced Lucids, she always made her dreams themed around 'Alice in Wonderland.' However, when she teleported us there, it looked like an old English town with dirt roads and muddy potholes. We walked around until dark, and we sat down on a stone wall. Over to my left was the ocean, dotted with sailboats and lights. The girl and I said our goodbyes, and we teleported back to the room. Once we were there, I said "We should do this again sometime," then appeared in my bedroom. At this point, I was probably a little bit awake then fell asleep again, because I kept seeing all these clocks floating around a black space, then I was in my room! 'Oh no!' I thought to myself, 'I failed a lucid!' Then I saw a dark hulking mass next to my bed. It looked like a shadow of a person, only 3-D, and had a purple glowing triangle and under that, a smaller glowing circle where the forehead would be. 'Oh! It's a false awakening!' I thought to myself. I quickly jumped out of bed and onto the back of this human-like creature. It looked ridable to me. It scampered on all-fours across the room and jumped through my wall into the night. At this point, the dream changed back and I lost lucidity. I found myself back in the wood room with the girl and we teleported back to the town. However, everything was going wrong in the dream. The buildings looked strange, and when we went into this old-time hardware store with rows and rows of shelves, they kept knocking over like dominoes. At this point the dream ended.

The Friendship Club
I was sitting in a very light, airy room, with lots of windows and flowy white curtains. I knew that I was in a club about dreaming, but somehow, it turned into a drawing club. I was sitting at a counter with a manga entitled 'Pain.' My Improv instructer was there, coaching us. Many of my friends from school was there, including my friend Faith. We set up a game of 'Mouse Trap,' and it looked completely homemade and crude, but Faith was obsessed with setting it up properly. She kept talking about "stacking the mice." I lost when we finally played, and we kept on altering the game. The rest of my friends were all trying on dresses in the corner. I felt very sad and left out in this dream.

Okay, But ONLY for the Dog
My body was getting very very heavy, and I thought to myself, 'Ahh...I'm starting to dream.' Unfortunately, this didn't help too much with getting me lucid. I found myself in my Grandma's neighbor's driveway. It's a very large driveway, that is all cement. I was sitting in it with my friend Dana's dog and a random tabby cat. In my dream, her dog was a bloodhound, while in reality she has a beagle. In the dream, she told me to "write a song for my dog, and make it sad," before she disappeared into the blue house behind the driveway. For some strange reason, she was dressed like Lady GaGa. I finished the song, but it was a happy song, and I ended up on my friend Mady's couch. Her couch is orange, and there are very colorful pillows. Anyway, I was preforming the song for Dana's dog on a guitar, even though I don't even play guitar. The cat was sitting next to me, and Dana had this look of disdain on her face. I think she was upset that the song wasn't sad. Also, throughout the dream, I felt a very strong attachment toward the cat.

The Hunger Games Train
I was on a train in a dressing room. For some reason, I knew this was the train that was featured in a book called 'The Hunger Games.' The dressing room had red and purple paisley walls, and all of the furnishings were red. There was a mirror that was surrounded by those huge lightbulbs. My friend Dana and another friend of mine was chosen at the reaping, and they were excitedly getting ready for arriving at the station. Dana was still dressed as Lady GaGa. I felt oddly left out, so I left to see the other people chosen for the Hunger Games. I came across Katniss and Peeta, who are the main characters of the book. Katniss was wearing skinny jeans, a large, brown and white striped sweater, and a pair of boots. Her hair was chin length, but tied back somewhat. Peeta was blond, tan, and muscular. He wore no shirt, and a pair of jean shorts. He was casually asking Katniss, "Wanna sleep with me?" Katniss casually answered back "Sure, ya know, I'll sleep with anybody. Anyone who read the book would know this is completely out of character for them. In my dream, Katniss brought an extra person. She was blond, and was wearing a long, pink dress. When Katniss started speaking about sleeping with Peeta, she pursed her lips. I still felt left out, so I decided to go back to the dressing room to pretty myself up. When I looked in the mirror, I gasped. My dream self thought I was ugly, but now thinking back to it, I looked prettier than usual. My hair was down to my waist, and I wore a dark green dress with poofy sleeves and lace trim. My shoes were ballet flats, and also green.
My mom was driving me home in pouring rain. The wind was blowing trashcans all around the street. When we finally arrived home safely, the sun was shining and everything was dry. Three robbers came to our door, armed with paper that was razor sharp. At this point, I was a tiny bit lucid, because the robbers kept cutting me and I couldn't feel anything. I tried to close the door, but one of the robbers got inside. I stopped the robber inside and grabbed his paper. This robber looked suspiciously like Kenan Thompsen. I opened the door again and cut the other robbers with the paper. I yelled to my mom for help, but she always said something like "I'm working on something!" or "In a second, chickie!" I became extrodinarily angry, and in an adrenaline rush, I charged through the robbers. I ran to the car and sat in the back. Suddenly, my mom appeared in the the driver's seat, and my brother appeared next to me. We drove away, and all of the sudden we were on a very long bridge. I live on an island, and we were on the bridge that crosses over to another island across from us. I started yelling at my mom for not coming to help me. I remember screaming, "I could've died!" My mom just laughed it off. We turned off the bridge and passed a bunch of shops. I saw Kristen Wiig, Taylor Swift, and Jennifer Anisten in a window display. Somehow, I knew that they were the ones who sent the robbers to our house. They appeared in a blue, beat up station wagon behind us. I shouted at them angrily out the back of the car. They kept giggling excitedly, and I became furious. I guess my emotions got the better of me, because soon I woke up.

Nice Friends, Eh?
It was Summertime. I just got back from the beach down my street and I was wearing a strange bikini. I went inside, took it off, and discovered that I had the weirdest tan lines to go with it. I changed into a striped purple and white tank top and lime green sweatpants. I saw my friends down the street, so I decided to meet up with them. We walked up and down the road a couple of times, and this annoying girl from school appeared. She kept on trying to push herself into the group and shove me out. However, I was stronger, so she just stopped trying. We settled down on the stoop in front of my neighbor's door and started talking. I sat down on an air conditioner and said, "You know they can probably hear us, right?" One of the girls looked at me and said, "You wouldn't understand. It's a sport's thing. You should probably leave." I glared at her for a second, then ran across the neighbor's yard back to my own. Behind me, I could hear her shout things like, "Sorry! I'll tell you later, it's just a bad time right now!" Feeling like a fool, I stormed into my house and flopped onto the couch. There was a guy taking our old family computer. He then proceeded to make fun of my pants.

I was in Walmart, and I was buying tons and tons of clothes. My mom suggested trying on a very ugly mask. She was trying on the same one. We got into a fight, then started doing this 'game' where we I would slap her, then run to another section of the store. My mom would come find me, slap me, then run to a different section. We went like this, back and forth. I had boots on with almost no traction, so it was difficult for me to run without falling. My mom started coming after me with superglue, trying to glue my mask to my face. I got scared, and ran back to the Halloween section to get my brother who was left alone. When I was running, the shoes on my feet turned to converse, so I could easily run. I turned down the wrong isle into the toy isle with rows of bikes. There was a creepy guy standing there, trying to coax me closer. I knew he was a pedophile. I felt myself coming closer to him, but then became sensible again and ran the other way. I made my way back to the Halloween section again and found my brother. Once my mom saw him, she got her sense back, and we went home. When I walked through the door, I saw the most glorious pile of shoes. I knew they were mine. I guess I got too excited, thinking it was real, and woke up.

PBS GO! What the Hell?
I was watching PBS, GO! on the old family computer for some reason. I think it was homework in my dream, or something. Anyway, in the show I was watching, there was a little Spanish girl, around eight years old. She was helping a little boy, who was around eleven, and black. Suddenly, the little girl's grandpa appeared on the show.
"If you take responsibility for helping this little boy," he shouted,
"You will get the spanking of your lifetime!"
The little girl bravely said, "I helped him. I take responsibility,"
The grandpa swam over to the little girl, (everyone was in a pool,) grabbed her, and swam with her over to a waterfall near the end of the pool. He proceeded to pull down her swimming bottoms and spank her. I don't really know why, but this seemed to disturb me. The girl made no noise, and you could hear a crowd cheering. I pulled away from the screen, disgusted, and woke up.

Library Class
It was very dark out. The clouds were scarily black, but it wasn't raining. The lights in the library were flickering. The library itself had rows and rows of shelves, and in the middle of it all was a bunch of desks. Everyone in my homeroom class was seated at them. My homeroom teacher was telling everyone to draw a girl. We all got busy, and he collected soon collected them, and filed them away. My homeroom teacher gave all of the boys cheap plastic rings with animals on them. He told them that they would impress the new girls. I saw my friend's ring, it was a snake. He put it on and I said "It would look better on the other finger," He switched it and my homeroom teacher continued. "You will have to choose wisely. The Principal has made this mandatory." I think the boys had to choose the best pictures of the girls so the principal could bring the pictures to life. Once class was dismissed, the library also turned into a thrift store. Some of the girls went to look at the clothes, while me and everyone else started throwing books at each other. I remember I kept pulling copies of 'The Penderwicks' off the shelves and chucking them at people on the other side. Suddenly, me and my friend Rebecca were outside on the school skatepark, just talking. We two ninth-graders drawing on a massive peice of paper on two super-long fold-out tables. We walked over and said, "Shouldn't you be doing that in the art room?" They glared at us and the dream ended.

The Epic Conference!
I was walking to my friend's house when a man from down the street walked up to me and offered fried calamari. "Fresh from the microwave," He said. I looked at the "calamari" and discovered it was actually a burger with white meat. Plus it was cold. He kept on pushing me to take it, but I wrinkled my nose and walked away. Suddenly, I appeared in my old elementary school near the preschool area. I knew that I was there for a conference with my teachers, but my math teacher was a werewolf, (Not the twilight kind, he just looked like himself except hairier,) and was chasing me down the hall. As I was jogging down the hall, I realized that it was impossible for my math teacher to be a werewolf! I was dreaming! A vivid green and gray square psychidelic pattern danced before my eyes. I willed myself to calm down, and sure enough, the hallway returned. I closed my eyes and said to myself, "When I open my eyes, my skinny jeans will be red." Sure enough, when I opened them, they were a reddish tinge! My math teacher was catching up, so I started to try flying. I bounded down the hall, going about five feet in the air per jump. But just when I started to lift off the ground, my math teacher caught up to me and grabbed me around the waist so I couldn't fly. He let me down, and the dream started fading. "No!" I thought to myself. I tried rubbing my hands together, but I soon realized that I was rubbing my hands together not in the dream, but in real life. Frantically, I scrambled to rub my dream hands together, but it was too late. I stayed in bed and cursed my werewolf math teacher.

Einstein's Baby Guide
Unfortunately, this dream barely had me in it, so there was virtually no chances for me to become lucid. The whole dream was me staring down at a book that was 'Einstein's Baby Guide,' and Einstein was reading it out loud, but I couldn't see him. Behind the book, I could see me holding a white, bald, baby out of the top window in a house that resembled the ones in cuckoo clocks. The baby was wearing nothing but a diaper and screaming. When Einstein got to a part about baby food, the background changed. All I could see was a table cloth with a bowl on it. In the bowl was this pumpkin pie and ice cream that was mushed together. In real life, my friends sister did that with the leftover pumpkin pie two days ago and I remember commenting that it looked "like baby puke or food." Einstein went on to the section of stuffed animals and the background changed to a stuffed pink sheep. Also in real life, my violin teacher recently bought one for her dog. She said that "it's his new baby," which is probably why I dreamed about it. When Einstein got to the last paragraph, the scene changed back to the cuckoo clock house, but a full grown man with red hair, glasses, and a sweater vest walked out the front door. I was at the window waving. As Einstein read the last few words to his 'Baby Guide,' the dream faded.

The Drive Home
It was very dark out, as my dad and I drove on a lonely road. We decided to cut through someone's private road. As we edged onto the road someone came and yelled at us, so we sped away. We were lost, and decided to try the private road again. We almost made it to the end, but the car wouldn't fit onto a certain path. All of the sudden, I was on a bicycle, and back at the beginning of the path. This time I knew I could make it, but the bike kept on making noise as I crashed into trashcans, hubcaps, and air conditioners that were scattered around the place. I made it to the end of the drive, but a boy jumped out of a house and toward me screaming. My dad and I were in a car again and sped away in the opposite direction that we should have gone. We were on a dirt road now, there was desert all around us, with cacti and tumbleweeds. The moon hung very large and low in the sky. We finally came across a garden statue emporium, but instead of calling for help, we stole some of the statues. As my dad was loading up the car, the owner came out and threw hubcaps at us. We decided to run, and there were many other homes besides the Statue Emporium. It was like a maze, and I accidently knocked an air conditioner out of a window. A boy came out of the window and started chasing me. When we got to a dead end, he started throwing tires at me. There were dogs barking all around us. In the chaos, I woke up.

Six Flags Madness!
It was that time of school year that we go to Six Flags. Me, my dad my friend Mady, and other girls from my grade were with us. The line for Batman was virtually empty, so we rushed up to the platform. On the way there, I saw a group of kids just sitting there being taught. I though about how much that would stink as I was racing up the stairs to the ride. I shouted, "I call front seat!" and leapt into the chair and pulled down my harness. For some reason, it wouldn't stay, and the ride started up. The ride seemed to go slower than usual, and I had no trouble staying in my seat without falling out. As I got off to go on Bizzaro, I told the lady working the ride, "Just to warn you, the front left seat's harness isn't working," She replied "Oh, it was off!" and whisked me way from my group. Once we were in a flourescent-lit basement of some sort, she told me that since I survived the ride, I had to sit with the other kids and get taught about how to protect others from dying. I shook my head and explained that I was there with a group and had to leave. She kept on trying to convince me, and by the time she let me go, it was dark out. My group and I met up in a pizza parlor and they were talking about how much fun they had. I kept complaining about how much I wanted to go on Bizzaro, but they shook their heads. It was time for us to go back to school. My dad pulled out money and offered that we stay here for the night so I could ride the rollercoasters in the morning. I begged him not to because I knew how short on money we were. He finally agreed and we decided to take the car home.

The Flying Shoes of Epicness!
I started counting my breaths, "1, I'm dreaming, 2, I'm dreaming..."
I got to 158, when I started to feel my body tingling madly. "Yes! Finally!"
"Lu? Did you leave the lights on downstairs?"
"Crap, Just ignore her"
"Lu?"
"Shut up!"
"Lu?"
"No! I didn't!"
"Okay! I'm coming up to check on you later!"
I settled back into bed. "1, I'm dreaming, 2, I'm dreaming..."
When I finally got back to 58, I started getting groggy and losing control of myself. I started to slip into a dream.
I was gliding down the highway in a pair of patent leather shoes. It was very windy out, and every so often the wind would stop, I would drop, and run and jump off the pavement to get airborne again. A man and a thirteen-year-old girl were next to me, wearing funny, batlike suits.
"Wow! Neat flying suits! I've heard of them, but never touched them,"
He replied, "Thanks! We're lucky we have them. They're closing down the highway barn, so other people won't get the chance to try these babies out,"
We glided down the rest of the highway, and turned onto the main road of my town. Much to my frustration, my shoes were very small and hurt to wear, and they kept falling off. In the middle of the road was a white barn with green trim. I knew this was the highway barn and moved on, because I needed to get to school. When I got there, I dashed into the artroom.
"Look Mrs. Pamula! I'm going flying!" I tried to demonstrate, then added "It only works when it's windy,"
She gave me a scowl and shot back "Not 'till you finish your thesus statement you're not!" She then showed me a picture that I drew in another dream of an ocean and a boat. There were some added elements, such as a random pumpkin in the corner of the paper. I begrudingly sat through her criticisim, and when she left me to work on it, I dove into the paper and found myself flying over a sea. It was very vast, but looked as if it was drawn like a child. Off to the side of me was a ship that was being rowed by vikings, which also looked like it was drawn by a child. The sky was very open, and looked very realistic. But I only caught a glimpse of the scenery, as I started to wake up.

The Ice-Cream Girl
I was in my art class, when my art teacher looked at me with a scowl and said to my LA teacher, "Look at her, she hasn't even finished her thesus statement, and she was going to play Diner Dash!" My LA teacher looked at me menacingly, and I trotted over to her and whispered,
"I didn't know I had art that day!"
I left the room and ran outside. Everyone was getting ready to leave for parties and fun crap like that. I felt so lonely and alone it was heart breaking. I decided to walk to McQuades, our local market, because they were serving free ice cream. It was a dismal day, and very stormy out. When I got to McQuades, the sky was looking frightening. I went up to the line for free ice cream. My friend Dana was in front of me, and cheered my up by just speaking freely to herself and I. I noticed that the person serving the ice cream was a little girl wearing a pink rain jacket and scooped the ice cream with her grimy little hands. I decided on having chocolate and peanut butter. She handed me the ice cream, no cone, and I thanked her. Disgusted, I walked into McQuades and wasn't the least bit surprised to find that I walked into the bathroom at my dad's house. I decided to take a shower, so I stepped into the running water and watched the ice cream run down the drain. I was also having a very bloody period, and the water was mixed with blood. As I was drying off, A boy from my grade named Jan came into the bathroom with my friend Emma, and was running after her and tickling her and serenading her. Emma was naked, and was getting into my dad's bathtub when Jan and her struck up a conversation about birthmarks.
I stomped over and said angrily, "Why do you even bother talking about global warming and the economy with her if she doesn't believe in your serenades?" I walked out of the bathroom into my dad's bedroom looking for a pad, and found one unused in another pair of my underwear. The dream started fading as I was walking over to it.

What's This Hole For?
In this dream, I had a vile stepmother. My real father died, but my new father was very kind, but weak. While my brother was getting off the special ed bus, she dug a hole, in which we all fell into. It was a very deep hole, and very large. For some reason, whever I clambered up the side, I figured out that the hole was in my bathroom. My stepmother was sitting at the side, looking like a barbie doll from the fifties, lying in a beach chair with a large sun hat and a drink. Whenever she saw me, she would sigh, get up, and push me into the hole again. My brother and stepfather were dying, and it was breaking my heart. I was very saddened, and felt the need to do something. I climbed up, placed my head between a notch in the hole at her feet and said innocently "Mommy, what's this hole for?"
"So I can kiss my dying husband," was her reply.
"Can we get out?"
"No,"
A small voice called from the bottom of the hole.
"Mommy, can I have a drink?"
I piped up "And me?"
"And me?" called my stepfather.
"Alright. I suppose you can have a little one,"
We each climbed up, and got a little to drink. As we were sipping, a pizza delivery guy came in. I shouted "NOW!"
My stepfather, my brother and I got out, but my brother needed asisstance since he is autistic. Scared out of my wits, I screamed, "RUN!"
My brother and my father started running out of the bathroom, into my mother's bedroom, and out the door to her deck. I jumped off the deck and started to run towards a neighbor's house, but I heard footsteps behind me, so I ran faster in a different direction. One of the guys chasing me mentioned "cookies," and I went completely lucid and woke up.

Ballerina Football Players
We were in my basement. Apparently, I was a princess, and I was surrounded by four very heavy girls wearing jerseys and tutus. They even had warpaint under their eyes! Someone mentioned cookies, and I knew I was dreaming, but the dream changed and I lost lucidity. The dream started again. This time, one of the girls spoke. She said "Look here, I got my raven black hair braded!" The other girls surrounded her and cheered. She continued, "And we got cookies!" I went lucid again, but the world faded. It came back to the same dream and I said "Can I have one?"
"No!"
I walked away and sat down on a piano bench and started to play a piano. Soon I was joined with eight others all playing beside me. I remember thinking 'I should do something like this for the talent show...' before the boy in a tuxedo next to me played the ending measures and my alarm clock woke me up
