Ok so this is my first post and is really the most recent dream I've had that was clear enough to remember, mostly.
So I don't exactly remember how it started but I was coerced in some way into going to this ballroom or convention room where a big meeting was taking place. The room was full of poker tables (the oval ones like on tv) instead of reagular tables and was packed with people. The poker table thing wasn't too weird because I work in a poker room at a casino and seeing aroom with 50 of them in it isn't too out of the ordinary for me.
I couldn't understand what the speaker was saying except that it was the governer's orders that I be arrested for all the bad stuff I'd done (which I couldn't understand because I really don't break the law, at least not enough to be made an example out of), and everyone at the convention seemed really happy about it. I started fraking out and yeling stuff and become extremely indignant, not violent like hitting people or anything, but like knocking over chairs and throwing small objects and yelling and interrupting the speaker. All I could think of was that i was going to jail and hadn't done anything.
I also met some dude who was sypathetic to my plight and he told me his name was Mikeso (pronounced Mike soo). Weird. I don't know anybody by that name, but I know a few Mikes and a japanese dude named Soo, but only in passing.
This is not cool. IRL, I am a skinny little white dude and the last place I want to be is in jail, especially because my law breaking activities tend to encompass the small realm of traffic violations and that's about it.
This part kind of fades away and somehow I'm at my parents' house. I don't know why they let me go, only that I hadn't been under arrest yet. I remember being terrified the whole time and my family was crying, even though we all knew that I didn't do anything. I kept trying to think of a way to get out of it but running was not an option -- there was no escape from the huge number of people that were witch-hunting me. I don't know why I was at my parents' house, I mean, IRL I am 22, have my own apartment and am fuly capable of supporting myself, but they had my room all set up like I lived there, and I guess I did, which I wondered about while I was dreaming because that is the last place I want to call home.
I remember at some point thinking that if some one saw me doing something good or nice then maybe they would have second thoughts or something about arresting me so I started mowing my dad's lawn for him out of nowhere. When I realized that wouldn't do anything I knocked that off and went to what was my room. In my room my girlfriend (not my RL girlfriend) was sitting in a chair by the window crying or something. I don't know what the deal was with this character. I didn't seem to care about her too much and can't even remember what her name was, only that is started with a K-A sound or something. It started to get dark and I climbed out my bedroom window to look down the street and see if te cops were coming yet, and finaly they were.
Before this I recall mulling around in the garage by myself and just noticing deatail, like note scribbled on napkins on my father's workbench, and how even though he can be huge ass sometimes, I would miss him.
A huge motorcade of cop cars and these 3 or 4 huge vans that looked like giant Scions came around. I ran back to room for some reason and I recall telling my girlfriend (who had somehoe turned into a desklamp or at least something that I couldn't focus on that resembled a desklamp) to tell my work that I needed to take an extended leave of absence. I didn't realize anything fishy about the desklamp thing until later in the dream.
The cops rolled up and surrounded the house on all sides. The cop at my windows atarted to be ruough with me and I told him I wouldn't put up a fight-- I knew there was no point. There were also like 3 or 4 black guys hanging around my window and like disassembling my windows and maiking jokes about me going to jail.
So I climbed out the window and they escorted me into one of the huge vans. I guess they didn't think it was necessary to handcuff me or anything. Apparently the vans were full of people from that convention earlier in the dream, and they were oh so happy to see me caught (well, surrender, really). I climbed to the last row in the van (stadium seating -- very nice) and sat kind of in the corner. There was some old lady in front of me beaming away. I started getting arrogant and pissy again and just started calling everyone assholes and claiming injustice, and I think I called them all republicans :) At this point the lady turns around and makes some snide remark that either I can't remember or didn't understand and I just yelled out "cunt" to her face. This dude next to me starts laughing like "aw hell naw!" and I wasn't sure if he was entertained or pissed off. He raised his hand and I flinched like he was going to hit me and his smile faded. He told me he had wanted to give me a high five. I recognized him from the convention but couldn't remember his name. It was Mikeso again! I know how to spell his name because it was written on his hat :)
We were making idle conversation as I looked out the windows and it looked like we were driving down Jamaica Avenue in Queens, NY (my RL hometown). I looked out the back window and saw the van behind us and saw some kind of computer system and the old cunt lady told me it was a sattelite tracking system so they couldn't lose me.
We finally arrive at the police station and things start getting kind of fuzzy. not that I can't remember, but everything was so chaotic that I don't know what triggered everything. There were loads of people there, at least everyone from the whole convention. I remember seeing one of my work friends and she told me she was quitting and I told her not too, I also asked her to make sure work knew I would be out for a long time and not to fire me becase I really wanted to come back.
Somehow I end up in the bathroom and it's full of black people. They're like showering and usgin the toilet and whatever. I kind freak out, because like I said, I am a skinny white dude, and know I'm in a room full large naked black men. Not cool. I start to leave the bathroom and my cell phone beeped and woke me up.
I think this dream gets the "slashie" award for me. The Scariest / Most Bizzarre dream I've ever had. When I woke up and came into the living room my girlfriend asked me why I had such a bewildered look on my face. I honestly woke up feeling all the emotions I had felt in the dream.
I don't know why i would dream I was going to jail. I really don't break the law and most people tell me that I'm generally a good person, and I think that for the most part, I am a good person.
I also apologize to any black people, repulicans, old ladys, and Bush supporters for my activities in the dream. I have no idea what the hell was going on there.
