First Lucid!!! (WILD)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

There was this social service worker who came to my house because I did something illegal (can't remember what), and he was asking a bunch of stupid questions. I was getting more and more disdainful, thinking about how he was a mindless tool under the control of the government, AND THEN I REALIZED I WAS DREAMING! I could feel the bed underneath me, and my first instinct was to get up and write in my journal, but I decided to lay there instead. I was in the dream, and i knew I was dreaming, and I realized "Hey, I'm lucid!" So I decided to fly... But I knew that it would be difficult to start out low, so I decided to go to a cliff and glide. Then, I was just... there! I jumped off and flapped my wings and I was flying! I guess that exerting that much control over the dream was tough though, because my vision started getting fuzzy. So I said "What the hell, I'm gonna make this dream count!" and I turned my wings into a leer jet which I straddled and rode. I was dipping in and out of mountains and valleys, when people suddenly started shooting at me. I was instantly wearing armor, but an arrow came in through it , and got me in the guts. At this point, my view switched to watching my body. I fell off the jet, and watched myself go tumbling down and bouncing off the mountain, smashing into the rocks below.

My first lucid dream, and the reason I joined the forum! It wasn't that clear, but it was exciting, and I hope there will be many more!

N Game (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was jumping around, collecting coins like in N Game (the ninja game) and I was swinging my sword to collect the coins. I was blue and someone else was green. I jumped up and swung to get some coins, but I accidentaly hit them instead, and they died. Then I knew it was my mother or my sister... someone important to me. Then I woke up.

I Can See Music (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I always have my music set as my alarm in the morning, but this morning I had a false awakening and I SAW the music instead of hearing it. The music was in bubbles that were different colors for different emotions in the music, and inside the bubble was a bright white string twisted into the shape of the medium and personality of the sound (as in a swirly, looping, connected line for violin, or a jagged unconnected line for a door slamming)... I enjoyed the sight until noises from the real world (which were also represented in bubbles) woke me up.

Painting (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was in the painting from the cover of the Art History book. Everything in my surroundings was of the same texture and color as the painting, and even though the painting is just of a field/ forest, I saw my own face, and it was painted in the same style, with a straw hat and blond beard. Everything was wierd, like I was spinning around really fast, but it was still very beautiful.

Interesting... I guess I've been thinking about Art History a lot lately.
Beautiful dream though...

President (DILD)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was running for president, I had just completed a long series of smaller political jobs, and I was finally ready to be president, so I was campaigning. I went to a debate/interview sort of thing, and my friend was there as the interviewer. I told him what my campaign was all about, and why I thought that I was the best choice, and then he asked me if they had yet given me the football, and I lied and said yes (not sure why...) and then he looked at me like he was preparing a big question, so I cleared my mind and got ready for a big one, and then he opened his mouth and rapped:
"Whats wrong with the world, mama? People livin' like they aint got no mamas I think the whole world addicted to the trauma only attracted to things that will bring the trauma"
Exactly like what the song was.
So I was like whaaat??? And he kept on rapping Where is the Love? and I finally realized that I was dreaming because that song was my alarm clock... And then I woke up.

Only lucid for about a second or two... but its better than nothing, right?
BTW, interpretation is welcome.

Warehouse 13 (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

This dream was about the TV show Warehouse 13, so if you haven't seen it, you probably won't get much of this.
Pete (me, in the dream) found out that Mika was abused as a child by her uncle, so he finds her uncle, pulls a case together to get him locked away, and then gives the case to the police. They use all the evidence that he gathered, but the sentence only turns out to be one year. Pete/I went all around that same city finding pedophiles, building a case against them,

and then he ties a wire around the base of thier tongue until it swells up like a pear, then cuts the tongue off.

He puts trackers on them, so that once the law changes and they can be given a harsher punishment, the police will be able to find them right away.

Well, that one was a bit grim... I'm pretty sure that it comes from me being overprotective of my cousins.

Shift (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I went on DV, and for some reason I was looking at Shifts profile. There was a section that said "Number of Posts", and I looked at it, and the number was something like 311245739. I was like "woah... thats a LOT of posts..." I went to go get coffee, and when I came back, the number of posts was something like 1794853985, and increasing by maybe 50 or so every second. I just sort of sat there, feeling confused...

Well, it wasn't the most exciting dream, but I am happy about it because I NEVER remember more than one dream. Maybe two a night will become regular soon! :D

Walk like an Egyptian (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

It was the end of the semester, and all of the teachers brought our stuff into one big room and each teacher had a pile of stuff from their classroom. Me and a group of my friends were walking around in the circular room looking for all of our stuff, and Egyptian music played in the background. We were all looking for papers, but I was also looking for clothes to put on. No embarrassment or anything, I just knew that it was cold outside, so I wanted some clothes for when I left. As we circulated around the room, the people started going faster and faster, and a sense of urgency came upon me. I found a likely-looking pile and started digging through it very rapidly, looking for boxers. There was a girl standing behind me, and we were the only two not running around. I stood up and looked at her, and I picked up her earbuds and put them in, and they were playing the same egyptian music, but like a remix. I looked at her face, and all that I could see was her eyes. Then my view zoomed out and I was standing with her in a bedroom. She looked embarrassed about the music, but I thought it was pretty cool and told her so. She smiled and I sat down on the bed. She handed me the earbuds (distinctively skullcandy, but a style that I had never seen before) and asked me to wrap them up so that she could put them in her toe. I told her that I didn't understand, and she grinned at me and told me to just do it. I said "sorry, but I don't know how... Try asking him." So she looked around for "him", and when there was no "him", she looked at me and her expression got cold, and she glared at me as if she were about to try something painful... and then I woke up.

Creepy at the end... She kind of looked like a bitchy girl that I once knew, back in sophmore year...

Milking The Cow (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

I was sitting in the living room, talking to my parents about how, exactly, you milk a cow, and none of us knew, when my grandfather came in. He grew up on a farm, so I knew he knew, so I asked him. He said "I'll show you" and pulled a thumbnail photo of his family farm from his pocket. He held the photo up and made it like a liquid portal, which we we all stepped through. We were then on the farm, and my grandpa was showing me how to milk a cow, and then I tried, and as I was doing that, he said "I always wondered why you have to use your hands" I looked at him like.... WUT?
It really did not make sense, and I was wondering WHY he said it, but unfortunately, I didn't wonder hard enough to LD.
