Thread: Cathy's Dream Journal

Ironically, I didn't remember much from the previous night. Just flashes here and there. These flashes included a character from a soap opera I watch. Everything else is very fuzzy.

Instead, I'll share a dream I had from last week before I started to keep this journal.

I was with my mom and my sister and we were walking down a trail through a forest. At either side of us were this huge pens with different animals in them. There were bison, hyenas, warthogs(big ones), and zebras from my recollection. When we were done walking through that area, we walked into a river. The water was perfectly clear, although blue. It looked like a swimming pool. It was the purest water I had ever seen. There were three different rivers and each of us were in one. We were trudging through the rivers. Mine was farthest to the left, it was near a rail and beyond that rail was a much bigger body of water. I remember feeling scared that I would fall in. I ended up pushed right next to the ledge, struggling to stay in the purity of the river. That's all I remember.

Last night I remember quite a few dreams, but no details. Just flashes. There is one segment I particularly remember though.

I was in either a supermarket or a library. There was a rack full of movies and games (playstation). I remember seeing a movie there that I just had to have. It was from a book that I really liked, so I decided to get it when I was done with what I was doing. (Don't remember what else I was doing.)

When I was done and wanted to get the movie, I reached to get it only it was gone. I freaked out, going through the whole thing and I remember screaming at the employees of the place.

I also remember something to do with a swimming pool. I have very many recurring dreams set at a swimming pool. Ironically, not the one that I go to anymore, but the one I used to go to for swimming lessons.

Edit(8 hrs later): Thanks to random discussions in school, another flash of a dream came to me!
I was at my city's science museum and my sister and I were at the bubble pot. (Lots of bubble making solution) and we were competing to see who would make the biggest bubbles. I won.

Just like usual, flashes and no huge details. If I remember, from now on I'll start drinking apple juice before bed.

1. I was racing my sister on a skidoo to get to my school because I had a choir performance.

2. I dreamt about a character from 90210 (Jasper). He was very creepy.

3. I signed into my yahoo account, but I used an account I never use.

Had I been doing reality checks, I think I might have become lucid last night. The dream took place at school. I knew something was odd about my wearing pajamas to school in the dream. Dang it!

Other dreams included flashes of me being in a car with my mom. I'm looking for a certain car with a symbol on it. The windows were all down and I could hear the person in the car behind us singing to the same radio station we were listening to.

Not much else to report. The power went out during the night and I didn't get a great sleep once I woke up around 4 am. It's really hard to fall asleep when the only sound you hear is your family's snoring.

In my dream, my family was looking for a new house. We were looking in an area where there were a lot of identical houses. They all looked the same. All of the houses were on different positions on a hill.

We entered one of the houses and I really liked it. It had two floors, you had to climb up a ladder to get to the top. It was like really small but comfortable. The problem was, every time I tried to climb the ladder, the whole house tilted to the side (from being uneven on the hill). This of course, made me not want the house, despite my family's arguments. We went to look for another one.

Dreamsigns - Of all my dreams that I can remember.

1.) The Pool - Not the one I go to currently but the one I used to go to for swimming lessons.
- It's a symbol of nostalgia. I dream about meeting people I used to know at that same pool.

2.) School - I always dream that I lose something, get lost, can't undo my lock combination, etc. Even though I know my way around the school, thank you very much.

I've in a bit of a recall rut for the last couple days. The only dream I remember from last night was being a soap character and I was covered in acid by a survellience camera and I was dying.

Last night I dreamt that I was going to do a social presentation I already did for final exams. I remember needing a certain book that I didn't have so I went to my school's library quickly, and I got lost.
I didn't see the book there so I grabbed a few similar ones and ran out of the library without checking them out since the bell rang. The check-thing didn't beep when I ran out though.

Later, at home: my mom bought three purple cars whose radios didn't turn off, EVER. It was very annoying music!

Last night I remember three distinct dreams. In one, the American Idol contestants were on The Amazing Race.

There was also one where I was at school, reading a book on my stomach on the hallway floor when "george" walks by. I wiggled on my stomach the way he went and I peeked over the side of the hallway and he was on his cellphone. I ran away. Later, at home when it was dark, there were a lot of strange sounds coming from outside. I was easily spooked. There were cars making weird sounds and I thought "george"'s car was one of them. I also had an accent in my dream.

In the third dream, I was at a Mariana's Trench concert with my sister. A woman beside me asked me if her toe was straight. I nodded and continued watching the concert, which turned into some sort of play in the auditorium at my school.
Later, I was outside, looking for someone when snow suddenly started rising off of the ground. I'm like "wth is going on" and then it rose up higher... AVALANCHE! As it fell on me I woke up.

Last night, I had a big long dream, though I can't go into a long detailed description.

In my dream, I was a stalker. I was literally stalking someone. I didn't have any intentions to do anything bad though. I just followed the person. I was at my school and I saw this person walking so I followed them to their house. Then I resolved to go to the house on Google streetviews. Creepy, right?

This isn't a dream.

Just recording that I haven't been posting because I've been extremely distracted lately. It's pathetic too. It has to do with a soap opera, but that's all I'm saying.

Alright. Last night's dream scared the crap out of me. I was cutting a food when my sister wanted me to go to the 'game store' for her when my mom came in and said that there was a psycho loose on our street. He broke in to someone's home already.

Terrified, I grabbed a baseball bat and never let it out of my site.

Dream 2.) I dreamt that I read spoilers I didn't like for one of my soaps.

3.) I dreamt that I was playing hide and go seek at a park in my city with Dwight from The Office.

My dreams last night were sad and scary.

First, I dreamed that my two favourite actors were killed in a car accident.

Later, I dreamed that it was the apocalypse. Meteors/comets kept sailing towards earth and the skies went dark. I was at my school, hoping one didn't hit it.

I dreamt that I had a gun and shot myself in the leg, scaring my younger cat and causing him to zip outside (he's an indoor cat) and never come back.

In a seperate dream, I was in Wal-Mart.
