My Attempt at Keeping an Online Dream Journal

A random friend, and a hint at lucidity (Non-lucid)

NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Non-dream Dream Lucid

The dream begins at me waking up in my room. There is a kid from school in my room named spencer. For some reason he is holding a cat
(* I asked him and he does not have a cat in real life) and we are standing at the edge of my windowsill.
The setting outside is nighttime. During this time, I for some reason loosen open the screen on the window, and we fall through a little crack of the windowsill, which would not be possible in waking life. When we fell, he told me that he got hurt and I asked me If i was. I told him no, and he said I must've been dreaming. He was clutching his cat as if it were his prized jewel. This was where I had a chance at lucidity, however no RC's took place. Anyway, the scene fades.

Next, I wake up in my bed. Although something very strange is happening. I am taking a shower with my clothes on in my bed and I am not getting wet, however I feel the warm water. Then I walk down the stairs, and I look at a corner where I usually let my swim towel/ swimsuit dry, and I see a goblin. I haven't played a game called World of Warcraft in a couple of years, but I have always remembered one creature in that game. It is a little goblin who is green, and wears only blue shorts. His ears are very pointy. Anyways, at this point I am scared for some reason and I jolt awake.

Don't worry, no one on DV will think you're weird because of your dreams! Weirder dreams have happened (I just had to say that). Everyone has really weird dreams, most just forget them or don't care.

The Dream Of things that have no relevance. (Non-lucid)

I have a bunch of friends that are in this dream, no need to mention any names. Anyways. I didn't remember it so very clearly, however I will try my best to recompile the story.

The dream begins with me and my friends at my little brother's friend's birthday in a parking lot. Then suddenly the little boy says that he wants his birthday to be in Chiacgo, IL. So the scene changes to Chicago. Still the same lot, but different setting around it. So he eats a cake, and the dream fades out, and I find myself with only 2 friends of the 3 that were in the previous dream.

We are in a train riding near a lake, but we seem to be standing still. However, In dream state I didnt mind. Then some gangsters and different various other dangerous people such as drug lords, terrorists, and others came on the train. They demanded that I return their money. However I did not know what money the were talking about. Then somehow they became friendly. My dream ended with their voice echoing in my head: "we cool dawg?"

Before this dream, I was very close to a successful wild, but failed :panic:

Huh, Chicago. Though I don't live there, I've had a few dreams where I *am* in Chicago. Though, it didn't LOOK like it that much-maybe the outskirts :P.

Yeh, I've never been there either :p

Oh, I've been there MANY times. I just have never lived THERE (though I have lived an hour from there half of my life)

Cool :p, hopefully I can get a first LD this month to add to the log.

Mall and Restrictions (Non-lucid)

The dream begins with me at my friends house. There are various other friends there. However, when I am at his house, I am not alloud to eat anything. So in my dream when I tried to pick up a peice of Raspberry Pie from the floor, he wouldn't let me eat it. >.<

Then the dream continues to the mall. I have had this dream before, with the same people. In my dream, I walked around trying to find familiar people. I always forgot money in this dream, so i was not buying anything.

Thats all... Lol

"We cool dawg?" You just had a truly funny dream. Dreams that are objectively humorous like that are more rare than Lucids, so way to go! I only wonder, did you laugh upon recalling it? Actually I'd be interested to know.

I saw in your profile you like the WILD method. Have you tried waking up at 3 in the morning for a few minutes and then attempting to WILD? This is also called the WBTB method, but it's a good way to try in conjuction with WILD too. Makes it easier to fall into SP and begin to notice the HI.

I too used to play an MMORPG, not Warcraft, but DAOC.

Yep, I've tried this. I've recently been attempting a DEILD as well.
I've been lazy with my DJ. I'm about to post them up.
I wrote down bullets, but I don't remember exactly how the stories go. Maybe I will remember after looking.

4 In One Dream (Non-lucid)

The Aston Martin Dream
I was at my house outside. For some reason I was building the frame of an Aston Martin. The car frame was being built upside down. I used spray on chrome for the wheels, which is something that I would never do In real life. Before I went to sleep I was reading DuPont Registry and it involed Spray On Chrome, for some kind of project. I then put the brake calipers on, which is the only part I remember finishing. Then Something happened and some guy called me. He then appeared next to me and I sold him the car, which suddenly become whole. I wake up here.

The Next Grade

I was going to class in some different school, that looked something like my old school. I was going to 10th grade, I am in 9th currently. and i went to the first class. It happened to be algebra 2. I was sitting with other classmates, some were random DC's, and some were my friends. My old friend stephanie from there. Then the teacher was showing us something on the computer, and we didn't understand it. She decided to teach us Algebra 1. I woke up at this time because I did not want to learn it again....

The High Palace

This was a short dream, and it involved me being in some palace. My friend devin was there. He is a good swimmer on my team, and for some reason was smoking weed. I woke up.

Being Chased

I was having a dream where I was being chased. For some reason I was on my local neighboorhood road. I don't remember who I was being chased by and I don't know anything after that.

The First Lucid (DILD)

The First Lucid

NOTE: I got lazy on the DJ's for a bit and I was on vacation during this one.

I find myself in a dream lying on the grass beside my house at evening-time. For some reason, I had this internal feeling that I was dreaming. I suddenly felt this surge of adrenaline and had become LUCID! This was my first time being lucid. I decided to fly. I floated into the air but felt nothing but the air against my face. I did not feel any adrenaline. When I landed, I looked at my house. On the side of it, it was spray painted, ToTM.. I quickly remembered that I want to try to accomplish the ToTM. Somehow, the scene twisted into a public restroom. I was standing in front of a mirror and I looked like a frog. I imagined myself standing on my head and before I realized it, I was already doing so. I was like Ok, Cool, lets see if I can give the other task a go. So I stood up, and prepared myself. Sure enough, from standing still, I took my head off and it moved in a mechanical motion in a clockwise pattern to the ground but my body was still standing. After this I was happy, and did not feel any loss of lucidity. I decided to try to conjure a car. I conjured a car, however for some reason this little midget/dwarf kept appearing and torching my car with a flame thrower. Whenever he would take the flame torch out, he would give me this sly grin and flip on his black facemask. I tried to tell him telepathically to stop, and my memory fades from there.


I was not impressed, this being my first lucid. I felt as if it were a distant memory when I woke up, and it didn't feel right. I thought that I would remember it as if it were a scene in real life. Or maybe I just didn't have a LOT of control or something. Whatever, its still a lucid.
