NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I was in a school courtyard area (somewhat similar to my school here in Mexico) and was doing something that I can't remember. There were many people around, including a couple of my friends from back home who came up to me and handed me my bass. I was thrilled about this, since, because of a repetetive strain injury, I have been unable to play bass for the past two months* (when they handed me the bass, it meant, in the dream, that I was able to play it now without fear of injury).
I started playing it, and for some reason, the music that came out was the intro to When September Ends by Green Day (which, looking back, is odd because 1: that's a guitar part, 2: I don't know how to play it, and 3: I haven't listened to that album since like 6th grade). One of my friends then started singing the verse, which sounded actually very good (another amusing part, since this friend couldn't sing a note to save his life). I joined in, but couldn't hit the notes right, so I dropped down an octave and started singing harmony when we hit the chorus, and it sounded perfect. That's when I woke up.
*A real life condition that crossed over to my dreams, not a dream condition.
Oh, and disclaimer: I'm not a big fan of American Idiot or any of Green Day's newer stuff (any more), though their old stuff isn't too bad.
