Hi, Im new here, and thought I would start a dream Journal.

I found this site yesterday, and was interested because I had a 5 second lucid dream before. I thought it was really awesome, but I became to excited and I woke up.

So last night, I went to sleep using the "flashlight" technique. You basically turn a flashlight on and off every couple of minutes until you fall asleep, hoping that you will check again in your dreams. If the light doesnt work, your dreaming.

I didnt have any high hopes of getting lucid, since this was my first attempt. To my surprise, I checked the flashlight one more time. It didnt work. I immediatly got very excited, and I knew i was lucid. I got too excited. I woke up 5 seconds later. I hope to make lucidity last longer, using the same technique tonight.

I only remembered 2 dreams I had last night.

I dreamed of being in video games. This is obviously one huge dream sign, but I didnt pick it up.

Another dream I had involved being in a rickity navy cruiser, with another person across from me. He told me exactly what was going to happen to me next. We were overtaken by an aircraft carrier, but not before slamming into a metal barrier in the middle of the ocean. Seeing the front of the boat crumple was awesome. The female captain of the carrier came aboard a few minutes later. She was hot. Some navy officers tied up the other person and tossed him on to the carrier... 500 metres away. I knew that shouldnt be possible, but i accepted it as fact. I then proceeded to clim aboard the carrier itself, after swimming super speed and climbing up the side. The carrier was covered in grass, and then I woke up.
