      Marvo Journal 9000

I thought my old journal was lame and old, so I decided to make a new with more timely material!

Recently, I've been picking up a bit on my lucid dreaming endeavors. It's summer soon, and I'm hoping I can take some time there to refine my skills. Anyway, here goes.

      Lots of things (DILD)

      NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID

Today I got up around 10, but I decided to sleep a little longer, yielding me some interesting dreams.

      - Lots of things -

I don't recall how the dream started. It had something to do with StarCraft, though the map I was playing in was odd. My opponent was terran. The parts I can remember were in first person, oddly enough. The map was very blue and purple, with certain parts in yellow, with cliffs all over the place. Maybe it took place on a moon. I recall finding a cliff or wall of sorts, with an opening. Going inside, I found a stair which led to a sewer, very much unlike the rest of the map. I was going around this sewer for a little bit, in a way running from my opponent. For some reason I attribute him to a white gorilla right now. I don't know why. From what I remember, I had a special power, though later on it seems like I lost it. After a while, I found another staircase leading topside, to the northern part of the map. I recall imagery of a white gorilla from this particular point of the dream, though I honestly don't know what or why. Going topside, I found a lot of buildings and deployed siege tanks. At this point, it seems like I either lost of I somehow left the map.

I can't remember the next few bits of the dream, maybe I was awake or something, but basically I teamed up with my father and two of my brothers, to go back and beat my enemy. The setting or game was no longer StarCraft and not really a game either. It felt more like an operation where we had to go in and bomb and a building.
Standing in a big room in a house, not entirely sure how we got there. There is a two doored exit behind us, leading outside. The house we were in had atleast two stories and a very deep basement. I recall going up one story, and we found a doorway leading to an old elevator, resembling an elevator like what you'd expect to find in a mine. We got on the elevator and we went downwards, very very far into the ground. I vaguely remember the elevator stalling and how we had to get off of it. Getting off of it was very dangerous, but we managed to get off. We went through a doorway. Here the dream changed a lot, not sure why. We were vampires and so were the enemy (not had an encounter yet at this point in the dream). We gained powers, like super strength and speed, though we didn't actually have any characteristics or powers resembling what you'd expect from a vampire. Light didn't hurt us and we were not sparkly (lololo twilight). I remember going through a small corridor with a very high ceiling. An opening appeared leading us outside, to what looked like out front of my own house. My team wasn't really my family anymore, but rather some of my friends. I'd say we were 3 or 4 guys, including me, and maybe 1 or 2 girls. We walked around outside, and encountered the enemy, which had a team setup pretty much the same as ours, and they had the same powers as us. At this point, we started fighting, and they seemed superior to us. The way we had speed was in many ways like the slomo scenes in the Superman Smallville series, which was really cool. I actually realised this, while dreaming, which made the dream take a turn, making us all have superpowers resembling those of Superman. We had heat vision for example, flying and our powers came from the sun.
Fighting a little longer, we were clearly outmatched and most of us badly injured. We retreated a little to recover, and while doing so, I looked up. It was cloudy. In the scene, I remembered a scene from Superman Returns, where he flies into the sky and regains power by getting the full effect of the sun. Realising I could do the same, I started flying. This is the part of the dream that I remember the best, because honestly, it was so beautiful, vivid and almost real.
As I flew up, the sun got clearer. I recall flying through the clouds. They looked extremely real. It was cold up there aswell, though the sun helped. I think I flew through 2 or 3 layers of clouds, before I reached a point with a completely uncovered Sun. I hanged in the air, taking in as much sunlight as I could. I looked around while up there as much as I could. Starting my descent, I realised that this was something I had always wanted to do.
At this point I realised that I was dreaming, though it didn't really change the course of the dream, a behaviour I've noticed quite a lot in some of the lucid dreams I've had lately.
As previously mentioned, I had flown through 3 layers of clouds, which meant I was probably a few kilometers up in the air, however, as I flew down, I noticed ground very early, almost like a landing strip, though there was grass. I'm not sure what this was, and I didn't like it, because I enjoyed the sensation of being up really far in the sky. I ignored it and kept on flying downwards, soaring through the air and the clouds. I felt incredibly strong. Finally reaching the ground, I started walking towards my enemy. The place we were in closely resembled my garden, though with all these small buildings or sheds around. The structures reminded me of buildings from Red Alert. They seemed irellevant.
At this point it wasn't really a lucid dream anymore. I hadn't really forgotten it, I just didn't act on it at all.
I shot some heat vision beams from my eyes, and they seemed to be stronger. I ran towards of the bad guys and crushed him completely in a few punches. I was much quicker and stronger than him. I started fighting the others aswell, but I found that my power declined quickly, and realised that I had to bring the rest of my team up into the sky if we were to beat them all. I ran back to them and I explained what my plan was. The enemy seemed to ignore this, and they simply waited.
We started flying upwards. This time we saw some odd weather phenomenon known as a sun dog.

. Extremely odd. The dream started falling apart at this point. Flying up that high, I also felt a little nauseous.
I probably woke up for a moment, but I fell asleep again, into a false awakening. I was in a school of sorts. Nothing really made sense here. I recall going into a class where somebody was teaching lucid dreaming, but there was only student, which was a little sad. I remember leaving and standing in a corridor with huge windows, overlooking some very far stretching plains. It was sunny. I was talking to somebody about something in this place, but I can't remember what it was. Something else happened aswell, though I woke up pretty shortly afterwards.

A pretty interesting dream all in all. It's been a while since I wrote in my dream journal, but this dream really stuck out to me. I'm probably gonna invest more time in dream recall.

      This application is awesome.
