FINALLY, I have achieved my first lucid dream since joining this site. It was very brief but I was so happy to realize I had accomplished it.
- So it started out as a normal dream (DILD). For some reason a random guy and I were in some weird town. It was a pretty cool town, stores, bars, toy shops, etc. Well it was right next to some woods where I had parked my car (don't know why I did that). I got scared of something and so I -for some reason- left my car in the woods and began to follow the train tracks home. Soon I realized that taking my car would be much quicker and safer for that matter. I ran back, still following railroad tracks, when suddenly the railroad tracks go over a lake. I didn't remember this from when I left. I looked ahead and saw that the tracks curved up into the sky, looped back, and ran into a toy shop, strangely named, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (no I have not seen that movie). I also realized that another trail split off from the lake leading to the town. I took that trail into town and entered a bar to find my keys (I'm a little concerned as to why I didn't realize this was a dream before then). I go inside and something causes my mind to click. I look up and realize I'm in a dream. I then say it out loud (I didn't really believe myself at this moment). Suddenly a guy at the bar turns around holding a knife and grinning at me in a maniacal way. He's very menacing looking so I start to back up. He slowly stands up and says "No, this is real life. I'm going to kill you." At this moment intense music starts playing (I don't know where it was coming from but it was loud and it fit the moment perfectly). I suddenly realize that I have had musical accompaniment to scary scenes in past dreams. That's when I truly realize I'm Definitely in a dream. I turn to him, give him, a angry look and yell "No, I'm in a dream and you can't do anything about it!" Suddenly, everything fades and I wake up in my bed (I was actually awake, no false awakening). I was so happy. I had just prevented myself from entering a nightmare. So I lied back down and decided to go back to sleep. Well I enter another dream that I also recall.
- I did not go lucid in this dream but I do remember being able to feel my surroundings and once I woke up I was like "Whoa! That was awesome!" I also feel that if that dream had lasted just a little while longer, I would have gone lucid. I was at my grandparents house. It was a peaceful sunny day. That changed really fast. The peace and serenity led into mass hysteria and distress as a zombie apocalypse occurred. We ran inside the house and locked up all the doors, except one :l We for some reason thought that the zombies wouldn't use it because the garden was visible from that door (My grandparents do have a garden that can be seen from that door and I guess we thought the zombies were afraid of health food or something XD). Well, the zombies weren't afraid of health food. They all ran straight for that door and tried to break in. I run up to the door and I'm actually holding it shut against like 50 zombies. Suddenly it starts to slide open, so I thrust all my weight on it and slam it closed. This repeats for like 10 minutes. It was really weird because I could feel the door handle being turned and pushed against me. I could feel my feet slide across the door. I could feel the power of the zombies. It was amazing. Eventually I woke up and it was time to actually get up.
All in all it was quite an interesting night and I'm very proud of my first lucid dream after not having one for a really long timeFINALLY, I have achieved my first lucid dream since joining this site. It was very brief but I was so happy to realize I had accomplished it.
