Alright so I've actually had lucid dreams in the past, I just didn't realize it. Now that I understand them, I'm really interested on learning more and trying new things with them. I love lucid dreams. It's a world that seems real where nothing holds you back. It's perfect. So I'm just gonna start this journal from here and act as if this is the beginning of my LD adventure.

I had a dream last night. I didn't go lucid but it was the first dream I've recalled in a while. It was weird because no aspect of it, that i remember, was weird or out of the ordinary. I was at a friend's house. We were chilling and watching some tv downstairs. His sister walked down and sat next to us. This wasn't unusual since she does that in real life. Then after a while, my friend said something that got her mad, so she left the room. This also happens in real life. Due to this, I didn't think of doing a Reality Check. I woke up soon after that and didn't recall anymore dreams. I'll try and get better at dream recall and see where it takes me.

Last night I ended up having another very realistic dream and therefore did not do a RC. Still haven't developed that habit. Anyways I was pretty proud of myself because as soon as I woke up I thought I had forgotten my dreams. I couldn't remember anything. Then, about an hour later, I remembered a little portion of the dream.

-the portion I remember was my Dad and I were working on our car in our garage. Suddenly gasoline started spilling out over the floor. We looked for the leak but we couldn't find it. So my dad put more gas in the car. As soon as he turned the car on, it began leaking again and the car died once it ran out. I don't remember anything past that, but I do remember that we never found the leak. Very strange.

Why am I having all of these real life scenario dreams? It's starting to be a common thing in my dreams. I can't really call that my dream sign since I would think real life was a dream. I really need to start doing reality checks. It appears as though that will be the only way I can enter a lucid dream.

I've been having a hard time recalling lately. What am I doing wrong? I'm following what DV says to do but I keep forgetting. I was listening to music the first couple of times i remembered. Maybe I should try that again. I don't know. Any help would be awesome if people see this.

So I found out listening to music could potentially be my way of recalling dreams. I recalled a lot from this one, but, deep down I have this feeling that there was a lot more I could have remembered. Anyways here it goes:

      - I was in an arcade but it was weird because 1. It was on the top of a skyscraper, and 2. It was in a building on top of the sky scraper that looked like a giant rock (kind of like in a jungle theme park or something to that extent). In that arcade were all the games we see today, i.e. skeeball, Time Crisis, Motorcycle Racing, Car Racing, etc. Well the only thing that was unusual inside was the sections of the arcade were blocked off by police tape. That didn't stop anyone from going under so I followed suit. There was however one room with only one shooting game. Connected to that room was a hallway that stretched pretty far. I crawled under the police tape and started walking but soon realized I couldn't go any further. For some odd reason the hall had a big chunk taken out of it (as if a missile hit it) and I realized this hall stretched from one sky scraper to another (If anyone has played Just Cause 2, it was very similar to the second main story mission at the casino). I payed it no mind and turned back. The last thing I did was I found this really awesome rc motocross racing game. It was fairly straightforward and the only unusual part about it was the track and dirt bikes (including people attached to dirt bikes) were life-size. I found out I had the fastest bike since I had completed a lap when everyone else had done 1/4th of a lap. It decided to get a little cocky and so I did back flips across the finish line (there were more laps though). The second time around I did a back flip but came down and hit the dirt mound and crashed. As soon as I crashed I woke up.

I'm fairly proud of myself since this is the most I've recalled in a while. Hopefully it will continue to get better.

I had a very brief dream recall this time. It was a really really small bit of my dream.

-We were on a bus going to Washington DC. I was with the school band and we were headed for our competition (this is actually happening friday). All I know is we're on the bus and I remember saying "when's the competition?" After that, nothing.

FINALLY, I have achieved my first lucid dream since joining this site. It was very brief but I was so happy to realize I had accomplished it.

      - So it started out as a normal dream (DILD). For some reason a random guy and I were in some weird town. It was a pretty cool town, stores, bars, toy shops, etc. Well it was right next to some woods where I had parked my car (don't know why I did that). I got scared of something and so I -for some reason- left my car in the woods and began to follow the train tracks home. Soon I realized that taking my car would be much quicker and safer for that matter. I ran back, still following railroad tracks, when suddenly the railroad tracks go over a lake. I didn't remember this from when I left. I looked ahead and saw that the tracks curved up into the sky, looped back, and ran into a toy shop, strangely named, Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium (no I have not seen that movie). I also realized that another trail split off from the lake leading to the town. I took that trail into town and entered a bar to find my keys (I'm a little concerned as to why I didn't realize this was a dream before then). I go inside and something causes my mind to click. I look up and realize I'm in a dream. I then say it out loud (I didn't really believe myself at this moment). Suddenly a guy at the bar turns around holding a knife and grinning at me in a maniacal way. He's very menacing looking so I start to back up. He slowly stands up and says "No, this is real life. I'm going to kill you." At this moment intense music starts playing (I don't know where it was coming from but it was loud and it fit the moment perfectly). I suddenly realize that I have had musical accompaniment to scary scenes in past dreams. That's when I truly realize I'm Definitely in a dream. I turn to him, give him, a angry look and yell "No, I'm in a dream and you can't do anything about it!" Suddenly, everything fades and I wake up in my bed (I was actually awake, no false awakening). I was so happy. I had just prevented myself from entering a nightmare. So I lied back down and decided to go back to sleep. Well I enter another dream that I also recall.

      - I did not go lucid in this dream but I do remember being able to feel my surroundings and once I woke up I was like "Whoa! That was awesome!" I also feel that if that dream had lasted just a little while longer, I would have gone lucid. I was at my grandparents house. It was a peaceful sunny day. That changed really fast. The peace and serenity led into mass hysteria and distress as a zombie apocalypse occurred. We ran inside the house and locked up all the doors, except one :l We for some reason thought that the zombies wouldn't use it because the garden was visible from that door (My grandparents do have a garden that can be seen from that door and I guess we thought the zombies were afraid of health food or something XD). Well, the zombies weren't afraid of health food. They all ran straight for that door and tried to break in. I run up to the door and I'm actually holding it shut against like 50 zombies. Suddenly it starts to slide open, so I thrust all my weight on it and slam it closed. This repeats for like 10 minutes. It was really weird because I could feel the door handle being turned and pushed against me. I could feel my feet slide across the door. I could feel the power of the zombies. It was amazing. Eventually I woke up and it was time to actually get up.

All in all it was quite an interesting night and I'm very proud of my first lucid dream after not having one for a really long timeFINALLY, I have achieved my first lucid dream since joining this site. It was very brief but I was so happy to realize I had accomplished it.

It's been a while since I have reported my dreams. I had a very unusual one last night. It consisted of 4 or 5 sections. Very strange.

-I entered a dream and immediately went lucid. I was in this huge mansion with a bunch of people in it. Since I was in a lucid I began to imagine what I wanted to do. Suddenly, the image started blurring and I began to panic. I stopped, told myself calm down, closed my eyes, and when I opened them the image was back and clear. I figured that I should probably attempt something simple in order to remain lucid. Apparently that simplistic thing was trying to "get with" a girl that I've known for a while. Anyways, just as said action was about to occur, I felt something really hard hit me on my back four times. Suddenly I woke up and found my friend smacking my back. The weird part is, I woke up in another dream. So, did I just have a lucid dream inside of another dream? And, when my friend in the other dream hit me, I woke up out of my lucid? I find this very amazing. I didn't think it was possible, but you can have a lucid inside of another dream (basically). I actually fell back asleep in that other dream and went back to my lucid (even better) but this time I tried to summon someone. It didn't work I woke up out of all of my dreams.

      - The other dream I had last night was I was at a concert put on by my school. It was not bad but I went to the band room for some reason. In the band room there was a cafe. I ordered some food, chatted with my friends, and had a good time. During none of this did I go lucid. I also saw a bunch of seniors walk in with weird masks and body length robes. One of them even told me he was allergic to pickles and was about to hurt me because I was eating a pickle. Very strange.
