05.05.2010Grocery Store Bomb Scandal (Non-lucid)
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I was in a church that looked a lot like the cathedral in Philadelphia. I didn't go far into the chruch. I lingered near the entrance. The church then turned into a grocery store resembling the interior of the walmart in Parksburge. The front entrance is different though.
Directly behind me is a sort of storage room where myself and a bunch of people i'm with discover a sort of bomb. Although i never actually see the bomb, i'm completely aware of what it looks like. The room is dark and full of boxes with papers in them. Some of the papers have a sort of symbol on them. Apparently this secret organization wants to set the bomb off so we steal the bomb. However on the way out, one of us gets caught with the bomb.
As soon as this happens, the entire store, which now looks more like a governement operated warehouse, is evacuated. I am forced outside with the rest of the people. However, i know that the bomb is inside so i sneak back into the store via a window around the side of the building that leads right back into the store room.
As soon as i climb through the window however, the dream ends.
23.05.2010Jake Ma's and my Suicide Mission (Non-lucid)
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I'm in yet again, another variation of State College but this time, University Park has been combined with Penn State Brandywine (where i am taking a summer class). The weather is really cloudy and i remember that it was really foggy outside. A huge asteroid is going to hit earth. My friend Jake and i are assigned a suicide mission in which we have to fly old WW1 planes up to the asteroid and destroy it. A ton of people are not thrilled that we have to do this, especially all the people on the RAM squad, although Jake and I are completely okay with all of this.
In order to send us off, the school has a sort of small ceremony to comemorate us and the ceremony was held in a church that looks a lot like Saint Joe's church in downingtown PA. The ceremony itself didn't last long but the fact that Jake and I were going on a suicide mission went unoticed during the ceremony until the end when they mentioned it in a passing commment. No one else had much of a reaction except those who were close to us seemed to be angry with us.
We then left the church and were walking down a walkway when i pulled out a cell phone remembering that the high command for earth had given us the cell phone. They had told Jake and I that they were going to call us when it was time for us to get on the planes. They never did and the dream ended.
24.05.2010The Orc Battle Ad (Non-lucid)
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I was supposed to take a picture of my brother's homework assignment and send it to him because i accidentally took it with my on my way to college. I don't know where I'm gonna get the picture because i can't find the assignment sheet. So i go online to try and find it. We eventually find it but the site is flooded with ads and a few commercials. One of which are worth mentioning because each one was like a dream of its own.
The video is an ad for a video game i believe. There were a bunch of Orcs that were fighting a battle in a trench. The armor they were wearing was just beautiful and very colorful. It was honestly the coolest looking armor i have ever seen. They were running away and trying to carry this huge box with them. I didn't realize this at first but, the reason the orcs seemed to be running away was because they actually were, and the view i had of them, was the first person perspective of the men who were chasing them! Eventually the men chase the orcs to a clearing and they realize that they are going to have to stand their ground. The ensuing battle takes place all in first person perspective, however i am not in control of the man considering i am watching this on a screen. The man kills an orc that is running at him by plunging his sword into the orcs stomach. He then engages the next one by locking his sword onto the orc's axe. The orc behind him swings a flail but instead of hitting the man, the flail comes up too short and swings back, smashing the face of the orc who was locked in combat. Once the man's arms are free, he lifts a really long pike of sorts and snares the opposing orc's neck with it. He then proceeds to snap the monster's neck. The screen then pans out to reveal a view of three guys playing that particular video game. The two guys sitting in the couch have orc-like qualities, and the guy standing is clearly the man. The controllers they are using are these sets of bongo drums. The man then says something to the two orc-like people and you could tell is was a racist comment. The dream then ends.
25.05.2010Me and MJ At Orientation (Non-lucid)
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I had another one of those dreams where the setting is a combination of two places. This time its PSU Brandywine and a really nice looking bank.
I was walking in the main hallway of a huge bank. The floors were marble and the dimly lit cealings cast rays of light on the shiny surfaces of the metal railings. I knew this wasn't where i needed to be just yet so i continued up the staircase and out into the night. There was a field of grass and the field was moderately lit with stadium lights. A large crowd of people was gathered at one end of the field, all waiting to get into two large double doors. I remembered that this was my first day at PSU Brandywine and i was at orientation. I recentaly have started to take a class there so the idea is not that surprising.
As i approach the crowd i begin to see my friends. My good friend Tim shows up pretty early and i begin to talk with him while we wait for the doors to open. I then see our mutual friend MJ and she comes over and says hi. We exchange greeting until her ex boyfriend comes up behind us. In the dream, MJ's ex was actually Steph's ex. Why he playing this part in my dream i have no idea.
He gives her a hug which was rather awkward as displayed on her face. Not only this but his current girlfriend was right behind him and didn't look pleased. I proceeded to turn away from this sight not wanting to get involved. I then pull out a brochure of the campus and proceed to read it until the dream ends.
29.05.2010The Saint Agnes ATM Fiasco (Non-lucid)
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I am back home in West Chester. The town looks a lot cleaner than it actually is even though its already very clean. I remember it being really sunny out and the sunlight was bathing the leaves of the trees in a National Geographic photo-worthy way.
I had just gotten paid from work and i needed to deposit the check due to the fact that i don't have direct deposit. Remembering that there is a PNC ATM in Saint Agnes Thomas Patrick Hall, i drive up to deposit the check. There actualy isn't an ATM in there, for reason though, the dream steered me in that direction. I drive up and park. MJ and a few random people are standing outside. She says hi in a way that makes it seem as if she remembers seeing me in an earlier dream. She also asks why there is a watermelon in my car. My brothers rugby ball is in my car right now. It doesn't even hint at the look of a watermelon but the dream world is weird.
I see my old friend Jake hanging around outside, so i go and say hi to him. We decide to hang out a little bit so he goes with me when i go to deposit the check. The ATM is in the middle of this long hallway painted entirely white that spans the length of the gymnasium. The hallway itself however is located on the north side of the building. The interesting part about this is that there is no hallway there in the actual building.
As i am depositing the check, my old gradeschool teacher shows up and starts freaking out that i am despositing the check. She is livid and is screaming at us and is saying something along the lines of how easy it is to fool that machine into taking counterfeit checks. I argue that if people could do that to this particular machine, then they could easily do it to other machines. I am a little ticked off at this point because she isn't making any sense in her arguments and she is accusing me of fraud. She just get angrier and just screams more. I decide i've had enough of this so i just walk out of the building with jake and plan to go to another ATM machine. She is still walking with us and screaming at this point but Jake and I are just perplexed as supposed to angry. Jake goes "Jesus f*****g Christ!!! What the hell is going on here!!?" The dream ends right there.
08.06.2010Pool in the City (Non-lucid)
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I was with a lot of grade school friends and high school friends in a huge conference room. The room was a large and had a gray looking carpet. There were people on each side and they were having a huge debate when i walked in. I wasn't immediately sure what they were debating about but from what i picked up on, they were debating about where to go for the day. I inferred from this that they were all friends and that they all wanted to hang out today but didn't know where. Realizing how hopeless the situation was i stood up on one of the tables and started walking along it and took charge of the situation. I told them how ridiculous they sounded and how they were making a simple task become insanely difficult.
I guess that made them come to a conclusion because we decided to go to a pool that was in the middle of a large city. I drove down with my friend Rick Lewis and parked on the fourth level of the parking garage, which was adjacent to a large office building. The pool was on the other side of this office building. Realizing that we were going to have to go through the office building in order to reach the pool, Rick and I got into the elevator.
The elevator was crazy. It was made of steel and looked like an industrial elevator from the outside but the inside was office building quality. It had all kinds of functions. It could move up, down, left, and right. I also figured that it could probably go forwards and backwards. The building was next to the parking garage so the elevator moved sideways away from the parking garage and into the office building where it then started traversing the office building in multiple ways until it reached the ground level across the street from the pool.
People were already in the pool when Rick and I got there so we just joined in. The spectacle didn't last very long. As Rick and I were walking out to go back home, i was saying something along the lines of having a really good time and that I was glad that this happened because I had a migraine attack yesterday and my head was hurting all day so i was glad something good happened. I should probably have realized that i was dreaming right then and there because it was true that i had a migraine attack. Thus i was relating my real life with my dream life and that is usually where people become lucid.
Rick and I took the same elevator back to the garage although this time we had a little trouble finding it, so we were asking all kinds of people where the hell it was and stuff. We finally do find it and we take it back to the fourth level of the parking garage, find the car, and drive home.
09.06.2010The Phillies Labyrinth (Non-lucid)
NON-DREAM DREAM LUCID
I went to a Phillies game with a couple of my friends. I personally have never been to the Phillies stadium so I have no idea of what it would look like. I was there with my friend Mike S. I haven't seen this kid for about a year now so its kinda odd that he was in my dream. The stadium was located behind a large building that looked a lot like my old High School. This building was located in a large plain area that was next to some really high mountains. The scenery was pretty much out of a fantasy movie like Lord of the Rings or something. It was evening and sun hung low in the sky. My friend and I hung by the entrance until we wanted to go in. We sat down on one of these picnic tables which were located in a cluster just outside the stadium.
Eventually we decided to go in. I believe we were waiting for someone but they never showed so we just went it to find seat because the place was just packed. As soon as we go in the entrance it starts to pour. Luckily i had a hoodie on so I managed to get in without getting too wet. However it didn't really matter because the rain stopped in about a minute. I blew it off and decided to continue on to see the stadium.
The stadium was just unimaginable! It was not located above ground at all, instead the place was entirely underground, as if a huge hole had been dug and seats had been built into the walls of this massive hole. The hole itself was the size of a small city! Imagine the stadium in the fourth Harry Potter movie, how its dug into the ground and the stands and what not are on the sides of this huge hole. Only this time it was bigger, and there was a baseball field at the very bottom. It was impossible to find a specific section number and row number because the layout of the seats. There were four or five rows in each section. The sections themselves extended the entire circumference of the stadium in a spiral pattern that spiraled down to the very bottom. Needless to say, there were a ton of the these spirals going down to the bottom but the sections seemed to weave in and out of each other making the stadium as a whole, look a lot like an enormous wicker basket that was dug into the ground, where the reeds of the basket consisted of four to five rows of seats. All of this, was jam packed by Philadelphia fans! It was unreal!
Mike had something to do so he told me to go and find some seats. Mike leaves the dream at this point and i don't see him again. I start to look around. It seems that no one has and tickets and no one seems to be sitting in a specific seat either. I find two seats pretty quickly and sit down. It just so happens that the seats are next to my old grade school friend Zach. He gives me a high five. I realize however that i can't see anything from this high up in the stadium. It was the size of a small city after all. I then see my other two friends Jim and Mike L. walking by. I decide to ditch the seats I found and try to move closer.
As I am walking to catch up to Mike and Jim, i run into my friend Sara. Sara was in my English class last semester of college. She has blond hair, violently blue eyes, and a cute face. Odd that she is in this dream because i didn't even remember she existed until this dream. We talked about something, i don't remember what for a few minutes. She gave me a hug, and then left. I ran and caught up with Jim and Mike.
We immediately get lost in the weave and get separated. I end up in this small theater type place. There a couple people seated in here and they are listening to someone talk up on the stand. I just left and went back the way I came. I find Mike and Jim in another passageway and we head down further. Somehow though, the passage way we went down took us outside the stadium and on the other side of the high school. Mike wasn't there anymore. It was just me, Jim, and our friend Tim. All of us were like "How the hell did we get out here!?" so we just start to walk back to the entrance to try our luck again in the stadium.
