Welcome to Optim's Dragon Lair of Dreams! Hey everyone! Welcome to my dream journal! I recently started getting serious about LDing again after about a year. I'm starting off fresh with new techniques and all. Anyway, hope you enjoy this peek into the lair I call my mind. Non-Dreams will appear in black Non-Lucid Dreams will appear in blue Lucid Dreams will appear in red

Back when I used to LD frequently I was good. This is just my favorite LD from back then. My Favorite Lucid I am walking down the street when I see a car come right at me. Instead of hitting me the car goes right through me. I look at my hands and notice they are faded and almost invisible. I instantly think "Am I dreaming?" I am now lucid and begin to rub my hands to increase stability. I decide for now to use this strange ghastly type of invisibility to simple walk down the street and feel the cars as they pass through me. The scenery suddenly changes and I am in some mountain filled area. I look up and see my Dream Guide flying down to me from the heavens. He is part Dragon. As soon as his feet touch the ground I hear him say "Fight" like from Mortal Kombat or something. As a result of my wild imagination, the area around me is filled with Gears of War and God of War monsters. I suddenly remember that I am dreaming(I almost forgot when I was looking at my surroundings). The group surrounding me charges at me and I decide to rocket up towards the sky and come down as hard as I can. As I hit the ground I create earthquakes and tornadoes(somewhat like Satan did on the final mission of Dante's Inferno). I see the big beasts like the Titans from God of War trying to chase me now and so I focus all of my energy in my core and morph into a dragon. Basically, when I was done with them there was nothing but blood and guts. My Dream Guide apperas behind me and hands me a Coke. We drink it of coare, and he says " Its good to know you listen when I talk, because I thought your ass was fried." All I had to say was " WTF DG???" Then I woke up.

June 4, 2010 Fragment: I am sitting in my dorm when I run into my old friends B, R, and A. I try to call B when I remember his number later that day but noone picks up. Fragment 2:I have invented something. It apparently is some hardcore killing machine blueprint that I have save on a disc. I am stopped on top of a skyscraper roof when I jump on a helicopter and tear it in half. If I remember the rest Ill post it. It seems interesting and I hate that I can not remember because I WAS LUCID!! Dream 1: " Excuse me, but WHO ARE YOU!?" I am walking through the halls of my dorm and I can smell the pencil shavings of stressed out students. The setting changes as I continue to walk. It appears that I am in the baseball changing room. There I remember smelling sweat. I was called to the side by my friend D so that he can show me the Welcome Home music video. I almost bump into a guy and he says something like " Hey Watch it" I remember threatening him and scaring him off. Im still walking and I notice a big grey staircase. I walk up and when I reach the top I see my little cousin Bry. She is floating as she walks along a white floor of nothing. There is also another small girl doing this ame thing except she almost falls. I am able to find out that she is my supposed cousin by the way they are talking to me of her. I ask her if she knows her name (so that it seems more like a quick quiz moment than a "hey I know we are related but whats your name again?" moment) I do not remember what it was but I do know it was nonsense. I question whether I am dreaming but wake up

June 5, 2010 Dream 1: War Games I am at home waiting for my gf to get here. I decide to sit down and play a quick video game. I remember the name of the video game being " Coolest game you could play while waiting for your gf". I for a second questioned the title, but simply thought that I had bought this game for specific times like these where I was waiting for my gf with nothing to do. I open the game case and I the game sucks me in. I remember feeling strange as my molecules passed into the game world. I was sitting on a plane with several other soldiers waiting to arrive at the battlefield. We suddenly are forced to freefall down to the ground. I remember the feel of the wind somewhat stopping me as I plummet to the ground. I finally get my parachute open, however, I do feel terribly sorry for the guy who could not find his parachute. His screams were terribly sickening, like running your nails down a chalkboard. I could not help but release a sigh of relief when he hit the ground. I finally hit he ground and am escorted into a base. I am prepared for battle and as I get ready to got out into the battlefield, a guy says that if any one can do it, its me. This gives me some confidence, which unfortunately fades away when the guy that said that very things id blown away in an airstrike. I remember the game being like a mix of Call of Duty and Battlefield Bad Company 2. I pick up a mobile turret and instantly run out to the open. I smell gunpowder and blood as bullets fly over my head. I run past the fire fileed ground and dying soldiers to shoot 3 soldiers with ease. I suddenly start to remember war techniques as if I have been through this before. I see a guy standing in a corner trying to take a dump and smoke at the same time. I could have easily shot him but thats not fun, so I decided to run up to him and stab him. I remember the look on his face as he looked up and saw me with a knife, or the way he tried to run with no pants before I stabbed him in the back. I see an awesome shotgun near him so I decide to pick it up. I run into a data building and notice two enemies planting the bomb. I use my shotgun to instantly kill the guy who was planting the bomb. Then I was running and taking cover from the second guy with a flame thrower. I take one quick shot and get him right in the pack with one of the bullets. His pack blown up and sets him on fire. I turn around and notice another guy is going to plant. When I got to knife him he pulls out his knife and it clashes with mine. I am trying to shoot him with my shotgun but he is reflecting the bullets with his knife and he stabs me when I fall backward. Now I respawn and think" Am I dreaming?" I find out that I am dreaming and go in for revenge now that I am lucid. The enemy tries to stab me again but I stick my hand in his body and make my hand somewhat of a blackhole. This causes the guy to implode. Now that I got my revenge I think about the guy who died when he could not find his parachute. I try to put him back together but can not find all of his splattered body parts.I wake up because my gf rings the doorbell. It was a pretty cool dream but I wish I was lucid a bit longer. It was extremely vivid and clear, had I not respawned I would have never thought I was dreaming.

June 6, 2010 I finally found the section in my real life DJ that contains the rest of that fragment that I wrote on June 4, 2010! Hope everyone enjoys it. I believe this counts as one part of the ToTY. Dream 1: End of the World I am walking down the street and I see what seems to be a very sick lady. I go over to her to help her but she seems frantic and afraid. "What's wrong?" I ask her. "Leave this place and head north to Mother before they reprogram you to." She tells me. "Who is Mother and who is going to reprogram me" I ask her but she dies in my arms. I look to my right and am hit by a car. The car immediately transforms into a robot and grabs me while in mid-air. He slams my head to the gound. "You ask to many questions. Mother would not like that. Looks like we are going to have to reprogram you." he says. His hand transforms into some sort of drill thing that is going for my head. I think fast and grab his arm. I quickly reverse the drill and force him to drill his own head. "What the hell is going on" I shout out to a deserted street of nothingness. I look at the robot that I have just destroyed and I notice a chip inside of his head. I take the chip and I examine it closely. The chip reads: MODEL 642010 Year Constructed- 3030. The destroyed robot suddenly starts blinking red and releases a sound that resembles a police siren. I try to run but several cars drive off of a roof and transform into robots in mid-air. They hit the ground in their robot form and circle around me. One hits me in my pressure point and I am out cold. When I wake up I am in some strange futuristic truck and am all tied up. I overhear the robot driver and passenger. They appear to have stopped at McDonalds! "You want anything from here?" the driver asks the passenger. "Yeah. Their Big Macs are totally bitchin. Order me one." replies the robot passenger. Those robots may have been extremely futuristic, but deep down they were idiots. The truck comes to a stop and the two idiot robots step out and untie me. They go into a building that says MOTHER, but they leave me in the truck. That is when the truck transforms into a large robot WITH ME STILL IN IT! I am now inside of this large robot and I hear him talking to another robot about entering the MOTHER building. I suddenly realize I am dreaming when I remember the year on the chip that I picked up at the beginning. "I don't live in the year 3030" I say to myself. I begin to think of what I can do to get out of this transporter robot. I suddenly realize, what if I control him? The cords and handels were already there and I decided to make it so that I can see out of his body. A robot walks up to me and tells me that I seem different. He says that I smell like human. I freak out and run as fast as I can to a dark space. I did not want to anyone to know that there was a human inside of this robot I was using. Through a little hole in the wall of this dark space I see people. The people are being tortured and are having chips inserted in their brain. The sight of this shocks me and I now realize that MOTHER is just a system of robots taking over the world until there are no humans left. Head lights suddenly appear behind me. The room gets brighter and I can see a bulldozer in the room with me. The bulldozer transforms into a very large robot almost twice the size of mine. He grabs me and smells that there is a human inside of the robot I am using. He rips me out of my robot and throws me across the room. He charges at me and slams me to the ground. I try to run but he jumps across the room and grabs me and punches me. His fist is so huge that it really punched my whole body into the ground. This is when I remember that this is my dream and I begin to flow with power. He charges at me and I hop on his head. I begin to punch him in chest again and again. I grab his arm and throw him across the room. I jump up and quickly come down with one last fatal blow to the robots chest and he shuts down. When I look to my left I see a massive computer. I approach it and it requires robot authentication. I almost decide that there is nothing I can do but I remember the people dying at the hand of these robots. That is when I remember the chip I picked up from that first robot. I insert it and am given access to the computer. I do not remember exactly what I did, but I do remember that I created a disc which contained the power to end this robot ruled world. I climb up these stairs and arrive at the top of a skyscraper. I see several helicopters surrounding me and jump onto one . I tear it in half and begin to fall to the ground. Several helicopters are firing missles at me as I fall, others are transforming into robots and trying to run down the building and catch up with me. I try to think of a way to use the disc and I notice a spot on my arm. The robots must have given me a robotic arm when I was out cold. I stick the disc in my arm and created a huge explosion. I caused earthquakes and volcanic eruptions. There was hurricanes and tornadoes. I remember thinking " Yes, I ended the world" right before I died. Of coarse, like in most of my dreams, I woke up before dying. This dream was extremely vivid and actually quite long. I suppose that it is one of my top 10 favorite LDs. I also enjoyed it because I believe that counts as one part of the ToTY!

" Coolest game you could play while waiting for your gf". Lol, I'd love to have the game. These dreams are pretty bad ass, man! Reminds me that one of my goals is to summon a dragon!

Thanks for the reply XeL ^ June 7, 2010 Dream 1: I Get Framed (Somewhat of a Shared Dream) It was a normal day with the sun shining bright. The kind of day where even the worst of problems seems fine. This problem was not fine at all. I hear a horrific scream from inside and my hairs stand up for a moment. I run inside but I see a dead body. There was blood everywhere and people standing around with eyes wide iopen filled with shock and disbelief. One girl throws up while another one faints. " This crap is just wrong" I hear M mumble under his breath. The exact details of what happened are somewhat faded, but I remember myself going around town questioning people about what they may have seen. When I got back to the scene of the crime, people began to question eachother as they grew suspicious. More murders were taking place. Somehow, there was a list made of all every location a person was killed. We began to examine this list. At the end of the list, I had been to each location on the exact day of the crime! "It wasn't me!" " You guys know me, c'mon." I pleaded. " Cut the bull." M said as he arrived closer with ropes in his hands (which I suppose were to tie me up) As all of this was taking place I recieved a video on my phone. It was my brother. I quickly watched the video and it showed him killing all of those people and how he framed me by killing them only after I was in that area. " I know who did it" I shouted. It was to late for me to say anything because I woke up. I don't know how I did not become lucid. Later that day I was talking to my brother and he said " Last night in my dream I framed you big time." I questioned him about it and his dream sounded exactly like mine, but through his point of view. This goes against what alot of people believe, but I suppose this was a Shared Dream. Dream 2: Zombie Barbeque I was walking my dog down the street on a beautiful day. It changed from a sunny day to a storm filled night. I suddenly became lucid. I start to look around and the happy faces that were once around me have transformed to zombies! One of them bites my dog, but he is somewhat immune and instead of transforming into a zombie, he transformed into Cerberus. I hopped onto his back and I felt this power run through my body. I suppose that because Cerberus is the dog of the Underworld, that is why I suddenly felt this insane control over fire. The zombies charged at us all at once. I began to shoot fireballs from my hands and they burned at Cerberus' feet. I continued to shoot fireballs from my hands as I remembered the ToTM. I felt happy that I was completing the advanced task, but wished that I could have walked on mushrooms for the basic task. Before my eyes there were mushrooms and I began to walk over them with Cerberus. Suddenly the mushrooms came together and made one big zombie that resembled Cerberus and I, but in mushroom zombie form. I tried to burn him but he somehow thrived off of this fire. I charged at him with Cerberus and bit his head off. His head sprouted into some sort of tentacle thing. The tentacles wrapped around Cerberus and I but I decided that this was my last chance to do anything. I ran up and grabbed the tentacle. I set fire to the tentacle and watched as it burned to nothing. Then I woke up. ToTM complete!

AWESOME dream journal, Optim. Sounds like you are a pretty skilled dreamer. ALL of your dreams are really amazing. Loved the Zombie barbecue. Kinda ironic how you were playing the coolest game to play while you wait for your gf and it was her that woke you up. Keep em coming. Subscribed.

Almost forgot to update my DJ. Thx for the post Nomad and Max ^. June 8, 2010 Dream 1: FA after WILDing "Cool, I finally WILDed. It's been so long" I say. I look around a bit. I am in my room. "What the hell am I doing in my room" I think. I lose my lucidity. " Wow this sucks. Some WILD that was" I say in anger. I go to get dressed and I see a bird in my room. It was an extremely colorful bird. The kind that really is only possible in a dream. I go up to it. " Wow your a nice one" I say to it. "What are you doing in my room?" I ask him. To my surprise he speaks back. " You are dreaming. This is a false awakening." He says to me. " Thanks bird I almost forgot" I walk away. "Where are you going" " You are going to play with me" the bird says. "Hey, I would love to but I'm lucid now." I reply "Fine. If I can't enjoy this lucid, neither will you" He says. Right before my eyes he opens his wings and a huge beam of light went straight for my eyes. I woke up. I hate that bird. Dream 2: Revenge is not the Answer I can't remember to much of this dream. I know that I used DEILD to get back into the dream. When I was there I wanted to kill that stupid bird. It was actually a pretty epic battle because he called in his bird friends. I was about to kill this bird when I decided to make peace. He agreed to leave me alone and welcomed me into his bird home. I remember it being a really big temple like thing with a stone in the middle that was raging with power. He agreed to fight along side me when I am in a dream battle. He also told me that when the time is right, I will be able to touch that stone to get a special power. I named that bird Fruit Loop( because I could not stop thinking about the fruit loop bird even though he looked nothing like him) although I am pretty sure I will find out his real name and call him that. I am glad I made peace with that bird, and I hope to see him again soon.
