Keyword Search: Old Chinese Guy Metal Guru Guitar Music
I don't remember much of this dream, because it was about a week or two ago. Basically, me and some of my family (I don't think they ever stayed constant, people in my dreams seem to randomly change) were going to pick up a new guitar that we had found for sale on the internet. We pull up in a van and go to the front gates (the whole house is surrounded by pretty average chain link fencing). From the outside, it looks like a normal smaller house. There seemed to be a garden off to the side. We go inside, and there's an old Chinese Guy holding the guitar. Around his house are stereotypical signs and symbols that you attribute to the stereotypical zen feeling. Most of the inside of the house looked like the inside of a Buddhist temple (but it was all gold plated). even the spot where he played guitar was a shrine surrounded by a small water fixture. I buy the guitar from him, and I sit down opposite him. He plays something amazing, and by some or other revelation I learn that he's an ancient guru in the art of metal music. I guess I took lessons from him or something similar to that.

Key Word Search: School Cruise Grandparents Stealing Platinum
This one is really disjointed and doesn't seem to make a lot of sense. I'm at my great grandparents' house (one of whom passed away in 2003 but was there in the dream). We were possibly on some kind of cruise ship ( I know we were later ) and they made a living selling these little platinum coins. They were worth a lot of money because they were solid platinum and were made by some old civilization. My great grandfather had them set up on the kitchen table to be cleaned, and they were in a big pile. Late at night, I snuck out to the kitchen to "grab a snack". I opened up the fridge, grabbed something, and on the way out, I slipped one of the coins into my pocket. There was a huge pile and I thought he wouldn't notice. The next day I remember the boat was pulling into land, and I was talking to a girl I may or may not know in real life. I felt a weight in my pocket and remembered that I had the coin. I felt a little guilty, but better knowing that nobody knew about it and I was about to leave.
