Hey buddy. It's amazing how people can view a thread and not offer any advice. Anyways, I'll try to help you.
When it comes to dream signs, you basically have two options. You can either perform reality checks in relation to your dream sign, or you can simply be "aware" of what your dream sign is. What I mean is, really try to drill into your head what your dream sign is and what it means to you. Most people will tell you to reality check whenever you see sex, or whenever you find yourself thinking about it. This is fine. However, I believe it's much better to resolve in your mind what your dream sign is and what it means to you, and that you WILL notice it the next time it pops up.
Let me give you an example. When I first began recording my dreams, I noticed that school popped up a lot. Which made no sense because I was on summer break. I tried to reality check whenever I thought about school, but it didn't help. I continued to have dreams about school without noticing. Eventually, I became frustrated. When I awoke one morning, I told myself, "Enough, I won't be fooled again". I stopped performing reality checks and basically just kept thinking about how badly I wanted to catch my school dream sign. Sure enough, the very next time I had that dream, I became lucid. So you see, my point is that you should really drill into your head that sex is your dream sign. If you meditate, I suggest using that time to remind yourself what your dream signs are, and make a promise to yourself that you will notice them the next time they occur. If you don't meditate, you could still drill the idea into your brain whenever you think about lucid dreaming, or just dreaming in general. When you fully get to know your dream signs, it's only a matter of time before you see them in a dream and say, "Oh yea, I'm definetely dreaming". Good luck, and take care.
