Where did they go??
I have been keeping up a dream journal for about 7 years now, and always doing what most people suggest to remember dreams. I just don't understand why I haven't had any dreams scince 2 weeks ago when I had a lucid dream, but relized I was dreaming and woke up. I really enjoy dreaming, do I need to stop thinking about it??? I hope someone can give me some advice.

I hear a lot of people lately are going threw a dry spell. I have only had 4 LD in my life and that was just in the past 3 months. I have been told not to give up and I don't intend on giving up. I guess a little patience helps. Are you reviewing you dreams going back about a week each time. When you do you should look for dream sines. Like one I discovered but have not seen again yet was a car started to roll up hill. That should have gotten my attention and if it were to happen again great! I hope it will.

I also think you should not give up, but like you said maybe you should stop thinking about it. Maybe just let yourself let go and not worry about it for a few days and your dream recall will come back. I have heard this work for other people. Also make sure you are getting enough sleep. Sometimes when you are over tired your body will take advantage of what sleep it is getting and you will sleep deeper hence making it less likely that you will wake up durring a REM cycle and remember your dreams. I am by no means an expert but this is how I understand it. Anyway just relax and let it flow!!!
