Maybe a new / better alarm clock that can wake you up. |
|
I've read the informaton found on the main site about developing a dream recall. I found the information good but I do have one question. The first way said to wake yourself up during the REM periods was to use an alarm clock. I have tried this but I found it to be quite a faliure (I sleep very deeply). The second was to drink alot of water before going to bed. I can drink massive amounts of water before going to bed and still not wake up to use the bathroom. I've tried focusing my intent on trying to have a luvid dream but nothing seems to work. I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions? |

Gamer, what works best for me is simply to tell myself over and over (as I'm going to sleep) that I'm going to wake up after I have a dream, and remember the dream in detail. If you have that thought in your mind as you are going to sleep, you are likely to wake up after you dream -- at least it works for me. Also, make sure that you truly believe what you are telling yourself -- confidence is everything. Check out Gothlark's tutorial on Confidence and Dream Feeling Induced Lucid Dream. |

Wire a Joy Buzzer to your alarm clock and tape it to your hand. |

or do what my bean does with the hot water tap on a timer whcih sprays on his toes, bit over the top but you'll have recall by the end of the week |

I am quite new with lucid dreaming, and i've started trying to recall my dreams about 2 days ago using the MILD method and i must say, i am succesful at it. |

hmm interesting question I have heard of alot of people with that problem, I guess you could try something like a bright disco light hooked to one of those light swithes things that automatically turn a light source on at one time and then off at another |

i just gave this idea to someone else on the forum, i think it is a great idea that just goes along with everything else you have learned, unless you have already realized/read this. |

iv found that light meditation helps to remember actual pictures and stories from your dreams, although you have to sit up and meditate on it immediately after waking |

I've found that having the road outside my window repaved starting at six in the morning wakes me up no problemo. he problem is I get so freakin pissed off that I forget everything except my rage. WHY 6 in the morning on a monday during my summer vacation! |
